Travis Kelce is ready for the next NFL season.
In fact, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said the 35-year-old now "looks like he's 20" after working on his physique during the off-season.
"He's svelte right now," Reid told reporters July 24. "He's doing a great job. He's in great shape."
The 67-year-old continued of Kelce, "You can see he's been working out."
Indeed, the tight end has been focused on transforming his body since losing the 2025 Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles in February. As he previously put it, "I am down some weight from the end of the season last year."
"This year, I got some time to work on some form running and some things early on in the offseason that I just didn't have time for last year," Kelce shared at a June press conference. "I'm certainly feeling good, and hopefully it'll pay off."

In addition, Kelce has also been enjoying his downtime with girlfriend Taylor Swift. As seen in photos shared on Instagram July 24, the couple of nearly two years went on a snowy vacation to Montana with and Charissa Thompson and threw a summer boat party complete with matching "Captain" and "First Mate" hats.
"Had some adventures this offseason," Kelce wrote in the caption. "Kept it 100."
And the athlete is grateful to have the "Blank Space" singer in his life.
"I'm not here to hide anything," Kelce told Barstool Sports' Bussin' With The Boys podcast in June. "That's my girl. That's my lady. I'm proud of that, so I'm not sitting here trying to juggle, like, 'How can I keep this under wraps?'"
"We're just enjoying life," he added. "We're having fun with it, man, being a couple."

Recently waived 49ers WR signs with new team

The San Francisco 49ers have been forced to make frequent transactions early in training camp due to injuries, allowing some talented players to be exposed to waivers and free agency, including wide receiver Isaiah Neyor. San Francisco waived Neyor as part of their 10 transactions before Monday's training camp session, and while he went unclaimed on Tuesday, he opted to sign a deal with the Green Bay Packers. The 24-year-old was a two-star recruit out of Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas, before beginning his collegiate career at Wyoming where he earned All-Mountain West in his third year there. In 2022, Neyor transferred to Texas, and two years he later, he made his way to Nebraska. In his six years between three schools, Neyor appeared in 33 games and caught 87 passes for 1,595 yards and 17 touchdowns. His best single year came in Wyoming in 2021, when he recorded 44 receptions for 870 yards and a conference-leading 12 touchdowns. Now, Neyor will get an opportunity to compete for a depth spot in a talented receiver room that also includes 2025 first-round pick Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Mecole Hardman and more. It's unclear if the 49ers had interest in bringing Neyor back, but if they did, they didn't act fast enough or show enough interest to get him in the building again. Now, their wide receiver room is 12 deep, including Brandon Aiyuk (PUP), Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Jordan Watkins, Demarcus Robinson, Jacob Cowing, Russell Gage, Terique Owens, Junior Bergen, Isaiah Hodgins, Robbie Chosen and Equanimeous St. Brown. It would've been tough for Neyor to crack San Francisco's 53-man roster at wideout, but he could've been in play for a practice squad spot had he made it through the rest of training camp and the preseason article originally appeared on Niners Wire: WR Isaiah Neyor lands with Packers after release from 49ers

Is Caitlin Clark playing today? Injury status for Fever vs. Mercury

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is not expected to play on Thursday against the Phoenix Mercury. Clark has missed eight consecutive games due to a right groin injury suffered in the Fever's win over the Connecticut Sun on July 15. There's still no official timetable for her return, but she continues to travel with the team. She was seen at Arena in Los Angeles as the Fever lost 100-91 to the Sparks on Tuesday. The loss snapped Indiana's five-game win streak. Clark underwent additional medical evaluations late last month, but the results showed "no additional injuries or damage." She's dealt with multiple injuries this season that have kept her out of action. She was previously sidelined for five games due to a left quad injury and four games with a left groin injury. Clark also missed the Fever's Commissioner's Cup win and the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game and 3-point competition. Will Caitlin Clark play today? Injury update for Fever-Mercury No, Clark is not expected to play. She was not listed as a probable starter for Thursday's game on the team's website.
