YSRCP calls for recall of CM over unfulfilled promises
Speaking at an extensive meeting of the city party at Margani Estate's city office on Sunday, Bharat Ram alleged that Naidu has once again deceived the public with false promises in 2024 elections. 'Giving promises and failing to fulfill them is not new for Chandrababu Naidu,' Bharat Ram stated. He criticised Naidu for abandoning 'Job Kavali Ante Babu Ravali' (If you want a job, Babu should come) slogan from 2014 elections. He further highlighted that the current government has failed to deliver on numerous assurances, including the 'Super Six' promises.
He contrasted this with the previous YSRCP government, asserting that Jagan Mohan Reddy implemented numerous welfare schemes from 2019 to 2024, unlike anywhere else in the country. Bharat Ram accused the current government of not only failing to deliver on its election promises but also of selectively choosing beneficiaries for existing schemes based on party affiliation. He claimed that no other government in the country has garnered such significant public opposition within just one year.
Bharat Ram urged party workers to strive for victory in every upcoming election, particularly ensuring a YSRCP win in Rajahmundry.
Rajahmundry party observer Thippala Gurumurthy Reddy and East Godavari district president and former Minister Chelluboina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna, who participated as chief guests, also spoke at the event. They credited Jagan Mohan Reddy with truly defining welfare through his schemes. They advised cadres to complete a five-week program to educate the public at the grassroots level about the TDP's 'fake promises'.
Leaders including BC Associations JAC leader Margani Nageswara Rao and Chandana Nageshwar also addressed the gathering. During the event, posters featuring a QR code for 'Babu Security Fraud Guarantee' campaign and Chandrababu Naidu's recall were unveiled.

Lakshmidevi takes charge as chairperson of Guntakal Market Yard
Guntakal: SugaliLakshmidevi officially took oath as chairperson of the Guntakal Market Yard in a grand ceremony attended by key NDA leaders. Chief guests included Anantapur district TDP president and Labour Welfare Board Chairman Venkata Shivudu Yadav, Anantapur MP Ambika Lakshmi Narayana, and Guntakal MLA Gummanur Jayaram. Coalition govt came to power by making false promises
Pattikonda (Kurnool district): Former Pathikonda YSRCP MLA Kangati Sridevi strongly condemned the recent remarks made by Labour Minister V Subhash during his visit to Pattikonda. She criticised the coalition government, stating that they came to power in 2024 by making false promises. Responding to the Minister's claims on development, she said that the previous YSRCP government executed works under the Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project up to 80 per cent. She flayed the earlier TDP government for its failure to provide even a single new ration card or pension during its tenure. Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday at Pathikonda, Sridevi said that by the time former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed office in June 2019, only 12.7% of the Handri-Neeva project had been completed. She claimed that under Jagan's leadership from 2019 to 2024, nearly 80% of the project was completed and water was released. She added that during the YSRCP rule, around 4 lakh new ration cards were sanctioned and the number of pension beneficiaries increased from 39 lakh to 65 lakh across the State. She also rebutted the Minister's claim that no welfare scheme was implemented for women. Highlighting the efforts of the YSRCP government, she said that loans worth Rs 25,570 crore were waived under YSR Aasara for 78.94 lakh women and Rs 19,189 crore was distributed to 26.98 lakh women under YSR Cheyutha. Furthermore, nearly 30 lakh house site pattas were given in the names of women and the Amma Vodi scheme also focused on empowering mothers, she added.
