Raycin Kyler, 11, makes history as first female racer to win an Open Class at Loretta Lynn's
Kyler already had a notation in the record book when she became the first female to win an Open class Regional Championship, which earned her an invitation to the Loretta's.
Kyler won her division handily with a combined three-moto score of eight compared to Kannon Zabojnik's 3-1-8 (12 points).
This year marks Kyler's third appearance at Loretta Lynn's, and the AMA National Championship capped off a breakthrough year for the rising star who already has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.
Additionally, Kyler finished ninth overall in another 65cc class with two top-10 finishes to her credit. She finished 10th in Moto 1 of that division, seventh in Moto 2, and 14th in the final race.
Kyler joins Lachlan Turner as a female champion in the 2025 Amateur National after the current Women's Pro Motocross (WMX) Champion swept her three motos, which came in the all-female Women's division.
Hannah Jamison won two of three motos and finished second once in the Girls (11-16) division over Callie Sutton (3-3-2) and Zoe Moore (6-5-3).

Rakitic issues apology after Modric post insults Juventus fans
Ivan Rakitic has been forced to issue an apology to Juventus fans after he accidentally used an insulting chant against them when celebrating Luka Modric's move to Milan. My intention was solely to use a song associated with AC Milan to congratulate my friend Luka Modric, without being aware of the historical context or the lyrics tied to it. 'I had absolutely no desire to offend anyone, least of all a club for which I hold the utmost respect.' The song was a chant heard regularly in the stadium, 'Chi non salta e un gobbo Juventino,' translated as 'whoever doesn't jump is a Juventus supporter.' Sixers star Tyrese Maxey back in the gym working with Drew Hanlen
It's always important to get some work done in the offseason. Every player needs to find a way to take another step in their games as everybody looks to chase down a championship. Philadelphia 76ers star guard Tyrese Maxey lives and breathes the phrase "1% better every day". He is constantly in the gym working on different aspects of his game with different trainers, such as Chris Johnson, and he is now working again with famed trainer Drew Hanlen. Hanlen posted a picture on his Instagram of himself and Maxey with Hanlen offering some instruction to the 5th-year guard while out in Los Angeles. Hanlen and Maxey have worked together quite often over the years. The famed trainer has worked a lot with Sixers star big man Joel Embiid who then suggested Maxey work with him in an effort to take another step forward in his game. As he prepares for his sixth season, Maxey will look to get the Sixers back on track.

HyunSung Park is staying positive after his first professional defeat. HyunSung Park is keeping his head up high after suffering his first professional defeat. The South Korean fighter was dominated and quickly submitted with a face crank by Japan's Tatsuro Taira in the main event of UFC on ESPN 71 – which took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. It was a tough pill to swallow for Park (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), but there are many lessons he's taking from the experience, including the nature in which he took the fight against Taira (17-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC). "Absolutely lost. It's hard indeed," Park wrote on Instagram in Korean (English translation through Instagram). "I had a lot of problems, but I think I learned a lot from them. I will grow from what I learned this time. I will not give up. I will go up. It was a learning experience. I'll show you the best again in the next match soon. I'm not frustrated. Thank you all for your support. And no more 7 day rush offer! Lmfao." Park took the fight on a week of notice. He replaced top contender Amir Albazi, who wasn't cleared to fight the by the Nevada Athletic Commission. The loss to Taira was his first professional defeat. Prior to that, he had won all 10 of his MMA fights, which included winning season 1 of Road to UFC flyweight tournament. Park has picked up nine finishes in his 10 career wins.
