Love Island viewers all saying same thing as stars prepare for final villa date
Friday night's Love Island episode saw stars on the show discuss the aftermath of a recent challenge, Mirror UK reports, during which couples were tasked with writing the same answers on a board when they were asked a question.
Following a good night's sleep, the boys got a text telling them to get ready to leave the villa in preparation for a cute date night later on in the villa.
Fans of the show were joking about the budget dates as they rushed to social media to share their thoughts on this year's set up. One user said: "Don't tell me these are the final dates."
Another posted: "Another year of budget final dates," while one fan commented: "Another year another villa date for everyone. ITV is so poor."
One added: "Have they f**ked the final dates off for these s***ty in villa dates?"
Meanwhile, Helena and Blu were dumped from the villa only a few days before the final. Fans have been speculating who of the final six would be the last couple to be dumped before the winner is crowned.
Last night, the Islanders took part in the Knowing Me, Knowing You challenge, hosted by Yas and Jamie. The Islanders were asked a series of questions, some light hearted, and some not so light hearted.
Despite a number of arguments, it was Meg and Dejon and Shakira and Harry who came out victorious. It resulted in Dejon and Meg arguing over his decision to pick Yas when asked who he would couple up with if his partner wasn't there.
He said at the fire pit: "You're trying to make me look bad. And I don't understand why you are trying to make me look bad." Meg answered: "I am not trying to make you look bad."
Dejon added: "At the time, Billykiss was also in the villa. I said to Yas you are my number one. And then after you, it would be if I had to, it would be Yas and Billykiss."
When Meg said 'yeah', he asked whether she remembered the conversation, which she said she did. Unsatisfied with her answer, he added: "I know but I know what I am saying. You just tried to act like I didn't tell you that. That's a big thing."
Meg defended herself: "No, but you didn't say the words, if Meg wasn't there then she would be your number one priority. You didn't say them words, you said if Meg wasn't there, then it would be Yasmin and Billykiss."

Irish Love Island star says villa experience was not 'straightforward'
Limerick native Conor Phillips came close to making the final of the latest series of Love Island. Photo: Brendan Moran/Sportsfile A former Munster Rugby star turned Love Island contestant has opened up about his time in the villa in the wake of the latest series coming to an end. Toni Laites and Cach Mercer were crowned the winners of series 12 on Monday after making it down to the final four couples. Ireland's Conor Phillips narrowly missed out on appearing in the grand finale after getting voted from the villa just days beforehand. The rugby star had previously coupled up with Dublin's Megan Forte Clarke but the popular 24-year-old was herself voted out earlier in the series when she dumped show favourite Tommy for Conor. Following Megan's departure, however, the Limerick native was coupled up with several different women on the dating show but struggled to find a spark with any of them. Conor Phillips News in 90 Seconds - August 6th Conor then coupled up with close pal Shakira and it seemed that the couple might work for a time before Shakira dumped him. The Irishman's fortunes turned for the better when Megan re-entered the villa in recent weeks in a shock move by producers. The pair quickly took up where they left off and were going from strength to strength but were dumped by the public vote last week. In his first post on social media since his departure from the villa, the 25-year-old described the experience as less 'straightforward' than expected. "Walking into the Love Island villa 8 weeks ago, I didn't know what to expect,' the ex-Ireland 7s star said. "I came in with an open heart and the promise to stay true to myself no matter what and I am proud to say I have done exactly that, even if it meant saying 'what's the craic like' a few too many times. Megan Forte Clarke and Conor Phillips "My journey wasn't as straightforward as I would have intended but it was a massive learning curve, from laughs to lessons, challenges to connections and feeling emotions I never thought I had (Cach and myself have the same AI tear generator). 'I have grown in so many different ways and to have that seen and supported by all you means more than I can put in words! "More than anything, I just wanted to make my mother proud, my family, my friends, everyone back home, I hope I did you justice. "The messages, the love, the unreal support has been overwhelming in the best way. Thank you all for riding with me, I appreciate everyone single one you. "This is just the beginning, let's see what's next.' Prior to becoming a reality TV star, Conor was a talented rugby player and initially joined up with the Munster academy in 2021. At Ireland under-20s level, he became a Grand Slam winner in the 2019 Six Nations. He went on to represent his country with Ireland 7s and featured in the Sevens World Series. He made his senior debut for Munster in October 2022 but exited the province at the end of the 2022/23 campaign. His villa pal Megan has also spoken up since jetting home from Mallorca, stating she 'got what I wanted' after her time on the series. After sharing a photo of herself alongside Conor, she told her followers: 'Diva up x What an experience!!! "I've laughed, cried, belched and wouldn't have had it any other way I've learned so much about myself throughout this journey and I am so so grateful for the love and support it's been a wild one!! "Got what I wanted in the end off to sing hsm in the pub now xxxx'
