Kyle Ashman will no longer be appearing on Love Island.
It has been reported he was flown back from Majorca just days before the 2025 series is set to begin on Monday (June 9).
The Sun has reported that Kyle was arrested on suspicion of involvement in a machete attack.
Although he was one of two individuals questioned, he was subsequently released without any further charges.
The assault in question resulted in the victim being hospitalised for emergency treatment, nearly losing an arm and requiring a two-week stay.
However, there are no implications that Kyle played a part in the incident.

Following an investigation, police informed the publication that both individuals were released with no further action taken, reports OK!.
An ITV spokesperson has verified his departure from the show, stating: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned."
In response to the situation, Kyle issued a statement: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation."
The 23-year-old water operative from Stafford had previously expressed to ITV his desire to find "someone that's fun, confident and just themselves" on the show.
Discussing his approach to flirting and whether host Maya Jama would approve, Kyle confidently remarked: "Id say I'd be hired. I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there."

Today (Tuesday, June 3), the line-up for the 2025 season was announced, introducing a fresh batch of hopeful singletons eager to find romance this summer.
Personal trainer and semi-professional footballer Dejon Noel-Williams, 26, hailing from London, is on the quest for love in the villa and boasts past encounters with none other than David Beckham.

His connection to the world of fame stems from his father, former footballer Gifton Noel-Williams, which has led to mingling with celebrities such as the football legend Beckham, whom he recalls as "really nice."
Gifton Noel-Williams, now retired, had an extensive career in football, playing for teams like Watford, Stoke City, and Burnley. He notably kicked off his professional journey with Watford at the mere age of 16.
