Love Island fans brand Maya Jama ‘sexier than ever' in sheer skirt as she delivers huge twist
LOVE Island host Maya Jama left viewers stunned when she emerged on the hit show this evening. Making an entrance for the first episode of this summer 's series, Maya, 30, looked amazing as she stomped her way into the Love Island villa for a second time. 5 5 5 Rocking a rather sheer ensemble, the former Glow Up host left little to the imagination as she put her sensational figure on display. Maya could be seen rocking a corset-style dress with an all-black bodice. The skirt of the garment was completely sheer and made from a mesh fabric. At the top of where the sheer skirt started, there were embroidered yellow flowers and greenery. Maya wore her raven locks down and in a sleek and straight style. "Maya looks too good in that dress," said one person on X. And a third said: "maya is actually stunning i cannot deal." At the start of the programme, Maya delivered a shocking twist. Speaking to the new girls at the start of the episode: Shakira, Meg, Alima, Sophie, Megan and Helena, Maya shared the twist. Watch the moment shocked Love Island girls find out about show's big first episode twist While delivering this twist, Maya donned a different look. At the start of tonight's episode, she wore a fitted floral number that had a plunging round neckline. "This year things are slightly different," she told the girls. "You've told me what your type on paper is, but does that match your ideal man in reality?" she asked. 5 5 As the nervous girls lined up, Maya explained: 'Girls, in front of you there are six love hearts. "Each boy has given me their dating profile which is written on each of these hearts - shall we have a look at what these boys have to offer?' On the boards the girls see descriptions for this year's boys: Ben, Dejon, Harry, Conor, Blu and Tommy. And in a huge twist - the girls were told they had to decide who they'd like to couple up with based on these key stats with the boys' name, age, job and a headline. After making an entrance, Maya made a shock return later in the evening. Upon her return, Maya delivered a huge bombshell. Her bombshell was that a bombshell was arriving. American beauty Toni - who is the first ever bombshell from the United States - then arrived. The couples are stunned as Toni says: "Good Evening UK! Surprise!" They quickly worked out she is American and on being the first American bombshell Toni says: "Lucky girl, aren't I?" Maya then explained that Toni was to immediately steal a boy. Toni then stole Ben, meaning Shakira was left single and vulnerable. Love Island 2025 full lineup Harry Cooksley: A 29-year-old footballer with charm to spare. Love Island full release schedule: From what time it's on, to why you won't see the show on Saturday
It's almost that time. The Love Island Villa is just hours away from opening once again to a whole new group of singles looking for their summer of love, guaranteed to have us entertained as the show celebrates its 10th anniversary. And as the show marks a decade of cracking on, eggs in one basket and 'got a text', we reckon there's going to be plenty of surprises in store this season. So before we start sharing theories and memes in the group chat, this is all the essential watching information you need, ahead of the series starting tonight, to ensure you don't miss a minute of grafting and pies. Love Island airs every day of the week apart from Saturday nights. Following Sunday night's episode each week, Love Island: Aftersun will air where host Maya Jama will be joined by that week's dumped Islanders and the Aftersun panelists Sam Thompson, Indiyah Polack, Amy Hart and new additions Ash Holme and Joe Baggs to discuss that week's events in the villa. Since Love Island first began the show has never aired a new episode on a Saturday night, instead a roundup of the not-yet-seen funny moments and outtakes from that week's filming is shown in an hour long episode called Unseen Bits. Previous contestants have revealed we don't get to see a fresh new episode on Saturday because the Islanders get the day off from filming and cleaners head into the Villa to do a major clean. "What happens is, it gives them a day to clean the villa, and you take your mics off, and normally we go to the beach," Kem Cetinay explained on This Morning back in 2017. Every night Love Island will air at 9pm BST. Some nights the episodes will be exactly an hour long, others an hour and 5 mins, and in some instances, like tonight's launch show [9 June], the episode will be 90 minutes long. Love Island will be shown on ITV2 and ITVX, with all episodes available for catchup on ITVX. While not 100 per cent confirmed as of yet, Love Island usually runs for around eight weeks. Love Island starts tonight on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm You Might Also Like A ranking of the very best hair straighteners - according to our Beauty Editors Best party dresses to shop in the UK right now 11 products you'd be mad to miss from the Net A Porter beauty sale

ITV Love Island's Chris Hughes villa journey to Jojo Siwa romance
Celebrity Big Brother stars Jojo Siwa and Chris Hughes appear to be smitten, with his stint with Olivia Attwood on Love Island a distant memory as the series returns. Long before his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, where he met Jojo Siwa, Chris Hughes was looking for love in a very different place. He was part of the line-up on Love Island back in 2017. Fans were immediately smitten with the now 32-year-old when he entered the Love Island villa in hopes of finding lasting romance. He hit it off with Olivia Attwood, with the pair lasting only seven months in their whirlwind relationship. Chris soon found himself a new level of fame following the show, having gone on to present podcasts, dabbling in television presenting and launching his own clothing brand. His latest stint on reality TV saw him appear on this year's Celebrity Big Brother, where he caused shockwaves among viewers for his 'friendship' with US Dance Moms star Jojo Siwa, 22. The pair have seemingly confirmed their relationship to be more than platonic in recent weeks since leaving the CBB house. After being pressed on his relationship status, he had a one-word answer to sum up their newly formed romance. "Happy. That's my relationship status - happy. Yeah, I'm just happy that's good. I'm happy with that," he confirmed. Jojo has also spoken openly with fans, when she was asked the moment she first felt a romantic spark between them. "I honestly can't say," she admitted. "It wasn't something that just flicked and happened, it happened over time." Despite the vague answers, Chris still gushes about his close relationship with JoJo, admitting she's become his "favourite topic of conversation." He said: "She's just just my favourite human and somebody I can literally talk about relentlessly." Let's take a look back at Chris' time in the Love Island villa, as the new series is set to hit screens on Monday, June 9. Love Island Villa feud Bromance Celebrity Big Brother

Axed Love Island star breaks silence on sad return home after machete arrest
Axed Love Island star Kyle Ashman, who was cut from the upcoming series before the show has even launched, has insisted he's not a bad guy as he spoke out about his arrest Kyle Ashman speaks out following his axe from Love Island Axed Love Island star Kyle Ashman has spoken out in a new video to insist he's 'not a bad guy' and shared hopes to be able to take part in this year's ITV dating show – despite being chopped from the line-up hours after he was announced. Kyle, 23, was announced as part of this year's upcoming line-up heading into the villa in a bid to find love earlier this week. However, his time in the spotlight was abruptly cut short as it was reported the water operative was arrested and questioned by police alongside another person over an alleged attack in Stafford, which took place in February this year. Following the reports, Kyle and ITV spoke out on his departure from the show. Kyle strongly denied having any involvement in the incident. He said: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." Meanwhile, ITV told the Mirror: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." ITV also released a statement on his departure saying: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." Since returning home, Kyle has posted a video online in which he explained the situation and shared his hopes to be able to take part in this year's series. In the clip, Kyle is wearing a white verst and jeans while holding a cup as he tells the camera: "Hello everyone, I'm Kyle. I just came on here to say, I'm sure you've seen the news circulating. I'm innocent, there was no further action." He sighs as he continues: "I'm not a bad guy, honestly, I'm not a bad guy. I'm a normal guy from a normal place. And opportunity arose to find love. I grabbed it with both hands and it's been taken away from me. I've seen all the support pages and, who knows, maybe I'll get a chance to go on Casa Amor or as a bombshell – get back in and show you who I really am, show you that I'm not a bad guy. We'll see," he says as he shrugs his shoulders. A statement from Staffordshire Police read: "We were called to a social club on Riverway, Stafford, at 7.40pm on Friday 28 February following reports that someone had been glassed outside and a fight was taking place. "Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. "A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. "A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. Both were released with no further action." Before entering the villa, Kyle had shared his expectations from the show and how he chats up love interests. He said: "I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there." The star went on to say he was looking for "someone that's fun, confident and just themselves". While Kyle won't be joining the series, his replacement was confirmed last night. The show has confirmed that Conor will instead be looking for love. Speaking about signing up for the show, he said he wanted someone "who is really sure of themselves, ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic." Joining Conor in the villa are Blu, Shakira, Harry, Helena, Megan, Tommy, Alima, Ben, Sophie Lee, Dejon and Meg. The new series kicks off on ITV2 at 9pm on Monday June 9.
