Create Account A representative for the actress, who played Addy on Season 9 of The Walking Dead , told PEOPLE that she was still auditioning for roles up until very recently and they were 'totally surprised' by her death last week. 'We had no idea the turn it took and it was very unexpected,' the rep added. TMZ reported that Mack, 33, took a break from auditioning in early July, with her rep telling the outlet, 'no one expected' her to die. Mack's death was announced in a post on her Instagram account . 'It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. According to an online obituary , Mack, who was born Kelley Klebenow, died on Aug. 2, after battling glioma, a type of cancer that attacks the central nervous system. After undergoing initial treatments earlier this year, Mack was reportedly making a 'nice recovery.' But a source tells TMZ that her cancer returned 'out of nowhere,' and spread through her body in recent weeks. They said she had a 'quick end.' Mack regularly updated fans on her health. Back in January, she revealed her glioma diagnosis telling her followers she hoped her fight would be 'a short chapter in my long book.' In March, she shared another hopeful post, saying, 'This journey has not been easy, but things are getting better – improvements are tough to see when you're in the thick of it.' In addition to her work on The Walking Dead , Mack played Penelope Jacobs in Season 8 of NBC's Chicago Med and booked a role on Fox's 9-1-1 . Mack's obituary also noted her commercial work, with parts in ads for Dr Pepper, Ross Stores, Budweiser, Eli Lilly, Dairy Queen, Chick-fil-A and Hyundai. She also was a voice match for Hailee Steinfeld's Gwen Stacy in 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse . Her big-screen work included roles in 2021's Broadcast Signal Intrusion , 2024's Delicate Arch and the soon-to-be-released Universal , which she also executive produced. Cain says the benefits of working for ICE include a $50,000 signing bonus, student loan repayment, enhanced retirement benefits, and special pay for those in field operations. I somehow doubt I'll be in that position but I would be there in a heartbeat.' Speaking of the latest recruitment drive, an ICE spokesperson told Fox News: 'We've removed any of the age barriers. Katy Perry recalls how she injured her knee during concert
Washington DC [US], August 8 (ANI): Ahead of the final Canadian stop of her Lifetimes Tour, singer-songwriter Katy Perry recalled a mishap from one of her concerts that left her with a bloody knee, reported E! News. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a picture of her bloodied gash on her right kneecap as her legs rested on the rim of a bathtub. Around her knee, other bruises appeared in a circular pattern. Other moments from the post include a snap of Katy and her ex Orlando Bloom's 4-year-old daughter Daisy, as well as a video of the toddler performing a puppet show, reported E! News. The former American Idol judge captioned the post, 'We continue to be on tour.' However, Katy's injury was not the only problem during her Lifetimes Tour performance. In fact, before her post, the 40-year-old came to the rescue of McKenna, a teenage fan who was brought on stage to perform alongside the singer and collapsed shortly later. In a video shared to social media, Katy stayed alongside McKenna as a medical team attended to her. Later in the show, she let the crowd know, 'McKenna's doing great by the way,' reported E! News. Last month, the 'California Gurls' singer also endured an unexpected--and nearly dangerous--moment during her San Francisco concert. While riding around on a huge mechanical butterfly throughout the arena, the prop, which was soaring over the crowd, suddenly fell a few feet. Luckily, Katy maintained her position, and no one was injured, as per the outlet. After the concert, Katy laughed off the scary gaffe by sharing a zoomed-in pic of her horrified, in-the-moment reaction to Instagram alongside the caption, 'Goodnight San Fran,' reported E! News.
