Arrest made in deadly Seattle motorcycle hit-and-run

The Seattle Police Department says they've arrested a man, believed to have hit and killed a woman with his motorcycle.
Officers say the 43-year-old is in the hospital for a medical evaluation and could be facing a number of charges including vehicular homicide.
The crash happened April 18 at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Alaska Street in Seattle. Min Huang and her husband were walking in a crosswalk when they police say they were hit by a motorcycle, believed to be a Honda Goldwing. The driver took off, sparking a several-week search.
The woman's family is offering $20,000 for tips that lead to an arrest and charges in the case. That is in addition to the $1,000 reward already being offered by Crime Stoppers.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.

34-year-old Dauphin woman missing since Thursday

A 34-year-old Dauphin woman has been missing since Thursday, when she was last seen in the western Manitoba city, police say. Jacqueline Head was last seen at an address on Second Avenue SW around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. A missing person report was filed later that evening, Dauphin RCMP said in a Saturday news release. Police described Head as five feet four inches tall and about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and plaid pants, police said. Anyone with information on Head's whereabouts is encouraged to call Dauphin RCMP at 204-622-5020. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or online. THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A dog napper allegedly swiped a sleeping subway rider's dog on a Bronx train early Sunday morning, police said Wednesday. The suspect allegedly took the American Bully pup while its 45-year-old owner was asleep on a northbound D train near the Bainbridge Avenue and East 206th Street station at around 6 a.m., according to the NYPD. The man then took off with the brown and black dog, police said. Authorities released a photo of the medium-build suspect who was last seen wearing a black faded jacket, black t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes, and a black baseball hat. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
