River Island shoppers are keen to get their hands on the "unreal" and "perfect" dress after seeing it online
River Island shoppers are heaping praise on an "unreal" dress they've seen go viral on social media. The high street giant is well known for it's fashion favourites - and there might be a new crowd pleaser available.
The retailer is selling the Yellow Sleeveless Corset Detail Midi Dress, which is priced at £99. Available in yellow or white, the dress is currently in stock in sizes six to 18.
The dress features a v-neck, sleeveless design, with adjustable straps, midi length and zip fastening. The stand-out corset detail gives the product an elegant silhoutte.
The dress is made with 97% Cotton and 3% Elastane, with shoppers encouraged to cool iron the product and, when machine washing, use a 30°C, gentle setting. River Island has warned shoppers against tumble drying or dry cleaning the dress.
The dress has been shared across social media, gaining lots of attention from interested shoppers. Instagram page @welovethehighstreet shared a clip showcasing the midi dress.
The post was captioned: "The perfect occasion dress in the trending colour of the season." The video racked up hundreds of likes and a number of comments from excited fans.
Among them, one person said: "Unreal", while a second wrote: "Love." However, one issue caught the attention of some.
One shopper added: "But why is the zip black." Another commented: "lush but then why put that ghastly zip on."
Over on TikTok, user Lucy (@lucyameliaross) also shared a clip of the River Island dress in store. Text over the video read: "POV: you found River Island's next viral yellow dress."
The post was captioned: "The butter yellow river island corset dress." In the comments, Lucy added: "A buttery dream."

Debenhams also has the Quiz Lemon Drop Sleeve Maxi Dress, which features an asymmetric cowl neckline and drop sleeves. The dress is priced at £69 online.

'I didn't think i was going to talk about this, but I had the most crazy, traumatising near death experience the other night,' Dominique explained. 'I am screaming, "Help! Somebody help me!" It was a horror movie.' Dominique was eventually able to dial 000, however, emergency services were unable to save the sauna. 'The whole sauna burnt to the ground,' she said. 'It was the most horrific thing to experience because I was a few minutes from going into that sauna.' 'I'm so grateful to be alive, so grateful to be here.' Dominique's ordeal was met with a flurry of comments from her 73,000 TikTok followers. 'This is straight out of a Final Destination movie, one follower offered, while another added a similar: 'new fear unlocked.'
