I tried a £9 body mist that I like more than Sol de Janeiro's £38 classic
I'm a fragrance expert with more scents in my collection than I can count, from eau de parfums and colognes to mists and hair perfumes. I've tried Sol de Janeiro's cult classic scents, and got through my bottles faster than I'm proud to admit, but I will admit that £24 for a 90ml bottle is quite expensive.
I'm always on the lookout for mists that can hold up to them without hurting the purse strings quite so much so when I saw Give Me Cosmetics' Body Sprays Bundle for £36 I was optimistic. It's got four 200ml bottles inside for less than it costs to buy a single 240ml bottle of Sol de Janeiro mist.
Three of the scents are inspired by Sol de Janeiro but my surprise favourite is actually inspired by a Victoria's Secret scent that only appears to be available in the US. Botanical Breeze is a blend of sweet green apple, orange and lemon with a base of green tea and coconut. I got constant compliments when I first put it on and my sisters all begged to borrow it. I can see myself reaching for it even more than my Sol de Janeiro mists.
The spray I was most curious about Caramel Vacay which claims to draw inspiration from Cheirosa 62. I definitely see the inspiration but there's enough of a difference that I wouldn't say they're exactly the same. Caramel Vacay has a sweetness to it but it's more floral to me which could be seen as a good thing.
I very much get the jasmine and vanilla, even the caramel but I didn't detect any of the pistachio and almond that people go wild for. Personally I lean less floral with my fragrances of choice but I think it's definitely a nice and summery option.
Orchid Dreams is inspired by Cheirosa 59 which has vanilla orchid, caramel and I would say it's very true to that. It's a spray I'd lean more towards during evenings abroad than sunny days but this one smells the most like the original in my opinion.
Sunset Serenity takes inspiration from Cheirosa 87 or Rio Radiance and is a lovely beachy scent. It's got mango, grapefruit, neroli and caramel and I'd say is one of the nicest available in this set. Although it's clear from my preferences that I've been drawn into Give Me Cosmetics' takes on fruity scents. From my collection of Sol de Janeiro I do most often reach for Cheirosa 62 so I would say I'm normally much more drawn to caramel and vanilla scents.
They are body mists so I found myself wanting to top up fairly often but for £9 a bottle that's not something I begrudge. I think the set is fairly good value.
I can see myself reaching for Botanical Breeze a lot as the weather warms up and I think these would also make lovely gifts. I have three sisters and I can very much see them insisting that they have to borrow them forever.

Liverpool beauty brand loved by Michelle Keegan launches £30 beauty box worth £75
Give Me Cosmetics was born in Liverpool and was launched by an entrepreneur who started the brand with just four products and now has 450 different products in its range A beauty brand from Liverpool, popular among celebrities, has launched a budget-friendly beauty box that offers more than 50% savings on its contents. Give Me Cosmetics is marking its eighth birthday this summer with a range of deals and discounts, including the Limited Edition Birthday Mystery Box. Retailing at £29.99 but filled with products worth up to £75, the box contains nine items covering skincare, bodycare and haircare. Inside, you'll find a full-size shampoo and conditioner, one of their viral Glazed Lip Oils, exclusive Give Me merchandise, plus a surprise assortment of beauty treats, all presented in a festive birthday design. The Give Me Cosmetics Glazed Lip Oils, featured in the box, were the first-ever makeup product launched by the brand earlier this year. The launch was celebrated with a towel-clad photoshoot at Liverpool's iconic Pier Head, which received widespread acclaim for 'celebrating real beauty with real people.' 47 Skin's 'life-changing' skincare products for spot-prone teens are now 10% off L'Oreal anti-ageing skincare bundle with 'magic in a jar' cream is now £47 off Available in 12 shades, the Glazed Lip Oils blend skincare and colour in a nourishing, non-sticky formula that hydrates and shines. Our beauty writer, Jada Jones, tested them out earlier this year and commended the metal applicator for its 'pleasant cooling sensation'. She added: "Mocha Motive strikes the perfect balance between pigment and gloss. I would suggest having a cotton bud or wipe handy as application can get a bit messy, but overall, I'm a big fan and I foresee myself reaching for Mocha Motive more than any of my other oils or glosses." Get your beauty surprise £30 Give Me Cosmetics Buy here Product Description Whilst Give Me Cosmetics has revealed some details about the box, the precise shades and certain specific products remain shrouded in mystery. Although this might spark enthusiasm amongst some customers, others may favour knowing exactly what they're investing their cash in. In that case, they might opt for the brand's Complete Haircare Collection. Valued at £67.93, the hair bundle is available for £19.99, featuring seven full-sized hair treatments designed to revive parched and damaged locks in one convenient package. Meanwhile, their skincare mega collection boasts a value of £185.81, but has been slashed to £64.99. From enriching moisturisers to buffing implements, beauty enthusiasts can rest assured their skincare regimen is sorted. However, they're not the sole destination for an excellent bargain The OK! Beauty Box contains 11 items, with 10 being full-sized – including a beloved Medik8 serum. The total worth reaches over £210, yet the collection typically retails for £59.99. For other beauty bargains, it's definitely worth browsing Rodial's outlet section, which frequently features full-size skincare products (including anti-ageing hero formulas) slashed by up to 87%, purely because the packaging is damaged or unboxed. An anti-ageing ingredient that's long been rumoured to be a favourite of Princess Kate is bee venom, and you'll discover plenty of it in Rodial's Bee Venom Moisturiser. Typically retailing at £150 for a 50ml pot, you can purchase it out of the box for £90, representing a discount of 40%. However, Give Me Cosmetics truly is a beauty brand on the ascent. What began as a solo venture in 2017 with merely four products has subsequently expanded into a 450-strong product range, dispatching over 2.7 million orders worldwide. Based in Liverpool, the brand has received backing from celebrities including Michelle Keegan, Rita Ora, Emma Bunton, and Nicole Scherzinger. The brand's standout product, the Argan Oil and Coconut Oil Hair Mask, continues to be a worldwide bestseller with over 1.5 million units sold to date. Discussing the mask, Michelle Keegan commented: "I'll be honest, I've never heard of it before, didn't know if it was going to work. I used it once and the results were amazing. Took it on holiday and haven't stopped using it since." Whether you're a die-hard fan or fancy giving Give Me Cosmetics ' products a whirl at an affordable price, the Limited Edition Birthday Mystery Box lets shoppers do exactly that. But bear in mind, it's a one-off release, and once it's sold out, it's gone for good. Shoppers can check out the deal on the Give Me Cosmetics website.

Amazon shoppers swear by 'breath-taking' £20 scent that 'lasts a whole day'
'Every time I wear it, I feel confident, polished, and a little more myself. The bottle is gorgeous, too — a perfect reflection of the fragrance inside. A true gem in my collection' Amazon shoppers are flocking to buy a £21.99 perfume that they insist makes them feel confident. Khamrah by Lattafa is proving popular on shopping giant Amazon with it having over 25,000 ratings. Khamrah is quite spice forward, opening up with cinnamon and nutmeg which is brightened with bergamot. The heart is a warm blend of dates, praline, tuberose and mahonial. It rounds out with a warm base of vanilla, tonka bean, amberwood, myrrh, benzoin and akigalawood. This is a great option as autumn slowly approaches. For those who like the date note but want something sweeter then perhaps Lush's £28 Sticky Dates is worth checking out. Khamrah has been compared to Angel's Share by Kilian (£310) although while the packaging is similar there are not many overlapping notes. How to get Sol de Janeiro's new 'seductive' summer fragrance for under £9 Lorraine Kelly's makeup artist shares anti-ageing product from Boots for 'dewy' skin Khamrah has pulled in an average of 4.5 out of 5 from 25,343 global ratings. One shopper said: "The bottle is stunning—heavy, well-designed, and comes in premium packaging that feels high-end. Performance is excellent with long-lasting wear and strong projection. Perfect for evening wear or colder months, Khamrah is a standout choice for anyone who loves warm, sweet, and seductive scents without the designer price tag." Another insisted it boosted their mood, writing: "This perfume is simply breath-taking. The scent opens with a beautiful burst of freshness and gently melts into warm, sophisticated notes that linger all day. It strikes the perfect balance between subtle and noticeable — never too strong, but impossible to ignore. Every time I wear it, I feel confident, polished, and a little more myself. The bottle is gorgeous, too — a perfect reflection of the fragrance inside. A true gem in my collection!" The spices can be quite divisive, with one shopper saying: "I saw all the hype about Khamrah by Lattafa and decided to blind buy it. It's a really strong fragrance, but I didn't like it because the cinnamon was too much for me. If you love cinnamon, you'll probably enjoy it, but it's not my type. The first day I wore it, it was so strong that someone complimented me at night, even though I had sprayed it in the morning! The longevity is crazy. I ended up giving it to my friend, and she loves it." Another review commented on a booziness in Khamrah, that we often see noted in the more expensive Angel's Share people associate with the scent. They said: "The fragrance is sweet boozey and spicy and settles down after it dries down to a sweet and spicy fragrance. Absolutely love the longevity and projection. Easily lasts a whole day long on my skin. Great value for money."

Meet The New Sol De Janeiro Perfume Mist I'm Stockpiling – It's Only Available Until September
If you're in the market for a new summer fragrance, the countless reviews touting Sol de Janeiro as the best are hard to miss. There's no denying the brand holds some serious sway in the beauty world. Those glow-giving body lotions have long been adored by beauty editors, while the iconic Bum Bum Cream is a celebrity favourite - Hailey Bieber is a fan thanks to its skin-nourishing, bottom-beautifying prowess. In fact, nine since its launch, it's still Sephora's biggest-ever body care seller with one selling every six seconds. The stats are impressive, certainly, but it's the fragrance mists that have reached peak viral status. At this point, I've tried them all. My well-trained nose can sniff out those instantly recognisable gourmand notes within mere seconds. Described as utterly addictive (and hoarded by swathes of teen girls), the scents are known for being juicy, succulent, and deliciously sweet. Though each mist is different, they all share that unmistakable signature Sol de Janeiro juice. You're likely already acquainted with the addictive gourmand notes that make each instantly recognisable. If you've been considering picking one for yourself, I've personally reviewed each and every one so you can discover which might suit you best. Scent, of course, is deeply personal- but sometimes a beauty editor's recommendation can be helpful when it comes to hitting the check-out button. Hot off the back of their latest launch (The Sol Tote is still proving to be the hit of the summer) the latest mist to land on the Grazia beauty desk will likely spark excitement among devotees - of which, we've established, there are many. Enter the new Limited-Edition Sundays in Rio Perfume Mist, £24. And when I say limited edition? I mean limited edition- it's only available until 24th September, which is likely to cause something of a frenzy among fragrance fans. But is this one truly worth stockpiling? Scroll on for my thoughts. 1. Sol de Janeiro Sundays in Rio Perfume Mist Price: £24 Rachael Martin beauty director says: 'As someone who would happily spend over £100 on a good scent, knowing this one is on par with its high end counterparts is actually quite thrilling. It's only £24, and for a hefty 90ml bottle I think this is excellent value for money. Will it be snapped up by teenagers the world over? Almost certainly. It has that addictive, viral quality that the TikTok generation will go wild for. But you can bet I'll be getting in on it too. My only gripe? I hate that it's a limited edition. I've already ordered two. So if you want one, don't wait- it's only available until 24th September.' Pros Long lasting, lingering scent A grown-up gourmand Cons It's set to be discontinuted Rachael Martin, Beauty Director, says: 'I'm a bona fide fragrance snob. If it's not stop-me-in-the-street good, I'm not interested. I love a heady scent that lingers all day and draws compliments long after the initial spritz. Interestingly, despite being a body spray (which are typically less concentrated), I always get compliments when wearing Sol de Janeiro. And for a while this was my guilty secret. While often associated with a younger generation, the iconic Cheirosa '62 still finds its way into my beauty bag. And why shouldn't it? The intoxicating blend of vanilla and caramel, laced with pistachio and almond has me at hello. Its worth noting that the perfumer, Jérôme Epinette, is one of the most respected in the industry (he's the nose behind Victoria Beckham and Byredo's perfumes.) Epinette's expertise shows in Sol scents - I'll take a deep breath and honestly, as cliched as it sounds, it's sunshine in a bottle. Naturally, I was quite intrigued to try this new limited-edition version. First impressions? Sundays in Rio feels slightly more sophisticated and grown-up- like Cheirosa '62's older sister. It's softer and more subtle, even down to the delicate purple bottle that feels more 'sunset' than 'sunrise.' One misting reveals a heady amber musk- it's creamy, woody, and settles beautifully. Then comes the vanilla and pink pepper. This is an unexpected pairing that creates a cocooning, skin-like finish. It's at once comforting yet makes a quiet statement. I've been keeping this one in my bag for on-the-go top-ups (London's 30 degree and counting heat is no joke right now), but I've been pleasantly surprised by how long-lasting it really is. As the day wears on, the scent does fade a wee bit. It becomes more delicate- but a quick sniff of my skin confirms it's still very much there. Could this be my new favourite? Absolutely. The first time I wore it, my husband- in all his perpetually oblivious glory- told me I smelled 'really gorgeous.' Then, during a morning meeting in the Grazia office, someone called "whatever perfume I was wearing a show-stopper." A show-stopper! Yes, this is exactly the kind of feedback I want from a fragrance. As someone who would happily spend over £100 on a good scent, knowing this one is on par with its high end counterparts is actually quite thrilling. If you want one, don't wait- it's only available until 24th September. A long-lasting, stand-out of a scent. Consider Sundays in Rio a more grown-up take on gourmand, while still staying true to the brand's playfulness. It's cosseting, comforting, and -as my husband put it- really gorgeous. And I may just order a third... Rachael Martin is Grazia's Beauty Director.
