Mumbai's 17-year-old opener, Ayush Mhatre, has been signed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a replacement for their injured skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is out of IPL 2025 with an elbow fracture. Mhatre, who impressed CSK during a trial, has a strong domestic record, including two first-class centuries and a high score of 181 in List A cricket.
