New parking ban announced for Moriah Mews in Risca
The new order has been in action since on June 11, 2025 and is expected to be a permanent order.
The order aims to stop parking to improve safety and give residents better access to their homes.
Residents will be able to see a copy of the order, a map of the affected area, and a statement of the council's reasons online at caerphilly.gov.uk/TrafficRegulationOrders.
These details can also be checked in person, by appointment, at the council's legal services office in Penallta House, Ystrad Mynach.
The office is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, except on bank holidays.
The documents will be available for viewing from June 11 to July 24, 2025.
The new rules are part of an amendment to the Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places Consolidation Order 2019.
If anyone wants to question the legality of the new order, they can apply to the court within six weeks of the order's date.
The order was dated June 11, 2025, and signed by Clive Campbell, the acting director for infrastructure and waste.
The new parking rules are officially known as Amendment Order No 37, 2025.
They were made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The council has said that the order is being made to improve public safety and help residents access their properties more easily.

East Dunbartonshire road to be closed for 10 days this month
Crowhill Road in Bishopbriggs will shut from 6am on Monday, August 18 until 11.59pm on Wednesday, August 27.
