Two teens die in crash with semi-truck near Rogersville
WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. — Two teenagers are dead, and another was injured after their car was in a crash with a semi-truck just east of Rogersville at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a 2008 Mercury Mariner SUV carrying three teens was traveling north on Porter Crossing Road at a median crossover with U.S. Highway 60. The driver crossed through the westbound lanes of U.S. 60 when a semi-truck struck the vehicle at the intersection, MSHP says.
The crash sent the SUV off the right side of the roadway and overturned several times, totaling the vehicle. The semi-truck traveled off the right side of the roadway before coming to a stop.
Springfield man charged with felony child endangerment after motorcycle crash
The two passengers in the SUV, a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old female from Rogersville, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and the 17-year-old driver was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was not reported to have any injuries.
This is the 45th and 46th fatality in MSHP Troop D in 2025.

Man killed, woman injured in Lone Jack motorcycle crash
