Jonathan Bailey discusses pressure of leading Jurassic World as an out actor
The British actor, 37, leads the cast of Jurassic World Rebirth alongside Scarlett Johansson, 40. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Bailey explained that he felt pressure leading a blockbuster as an openly gay man. "There's moments where, yes, you have to be excellent to prove that you can do it. And it's not like I haven't felt that.' "There's the weight of history. And there's endless brilliant people who have come before you who have changed the way that people see sexuality."

Delta Goodrem's secret star-studded overseas wedding
Australian singer Delta Goodrem has reportedly married her longtime partner Matthew Copley in a star-studded ceremony on the tiny European island of Malta. New Idea reports that Goodrem, 40, and Copley, 38, wed on June 16 in a ceremony attended by celeb friends including Goodrem's bestie Renee Bargh, Nine entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins and his son Christian. The mag reports Goodrem's mother Lea and brother Trent were among the other guests in attendance. In keeping with their private approach to their relationship, neither Goodrem nor Copley have posted anything about the wedding on social media, several days after they reportedly tied the knot. The pair have been together since 2017, with Copley popping the question in 2023 when they were on holiday in Malta, where he has family. 'My best friend asked me to marry him,' is how Goodrem announced that news at the time. Opening up about the engagement on the Stellar podcast, Something To Talk About, Goodrem revealed it came midway through a European tour. 'During that tour, it was beautiful – because it felt like we'd done an engagement party in every single city,' she said. Copley is a member of Goodrem's band, so the pair are frequently seen in public and on stage together – but the Born to Try singer said in 2018 that she'd made the 'conscious decision' to keep her love life private from the public. 'I made a choice that I'm not even going to comment 'yes' or 'no' … I've said nothing for three or four years,' she said at the time. 'He's my guitarist, I met him through music. 'It's incredible to be on stage with him because he's so talented. We really are a team. He's my best friend, he's kind and just a beautiful human being. 'I'm very lucky. It's all very natural and I think that comes from a beautiful respect and love. I feel so grateful.'

Heartbreaking moment Lola Young breaks down in tears after leaving the stage
Messy singer Lola Young has broken down in tears after being hit with technical difficulties live onstage. The 24-year-old was performing during her slot at the Capital Summertime Ball over the weekend when it all went wrong. Lola was one of many huge acts performing at this year's festival at Wembley Arena in London. Other stars included in the line-up were Mariah Carey, Benson Boone, and Tate Mcrae. Lola's set was due to begin at 4:45 pm just after Zara Larsson giving her a 15 minute time slot for her to perform her best tracks. As the singer began to sing her chart-topping hit Messy her earpiece had actually stopped working. When a singer's in ear monitor (IEM) fails it can significantly impact their ability to hear themselves affecting their performance and confidence. While she struggled on stage, Lola could be heard saying: 'Sorry guys my ears are going in and out. Can I get some new ears?' Trying to continue without it she begged the crowd to: 'Sing along please.' The popstar struggled to keep in time with the music and her band exclaiming: 'It's like they're doing it on purpose.' When her set ended the star was spotted bursting into tears after hurrying offstage. In clips uploaded to TikTok Lola can be seen visibly upset and distressed from the incident, crying into her hands as her team tried to comfort her. Fans have rushed to support the star commenting messages of support, one user said: 'I really don't see how people can hate on someone for this? It was a sound issue and the crowd loved her still, I feel bad for her but she was one of the best acts!' Another chimed: 'She smashed it.' 'I felt so bad for Lola Young. Her earpiece stopped working and everything so she came off crying,' commented a third. Some fans were angry at event organiser Capital insisting it was their sound engineer who was at fault. In a rant, one fan said: 'People don't forget Lola Young is just starting she is a young talented singer. Yesterday her ear monitor stopped working, this is not hers or her band's fault at all! This is down to the sound engineer at the Capital Summertime Ball.' 'I do feel so sorry for Lola Young and my heart is with her and I hope that she is feeling okay. Capital should feel ashamed of yourself!!' they added. Lola started writing songs aged 11, and by 13 had competed in and won a national open mic competition. She was a student at the famous Brit School in Croydon which counts Adele and Amy Winehouse has past pupils. Following the success of her single Messy last year, she enjoyed sell-out UK and US tours, and also appeared at Coachella. Lola was also nominated for Best Pop Act at this year's BRIT Awards. Some fans may also not realise that Lola has nepo-baby roots her famous aunt is Julia Donaldson, the beloved author behind children's book The Gruffalo.

Cringe video of Indian cricket boss roasted by Aussie fans
Well that was weird. Cricket fans have been left scratching their heads at a 45-second clip released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) following South Africa's win over Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) final. South Africa defeated Australia by five wickets at Lord's last week to win the WTC mace as Aiden Markram's century in the second innings proving pivotal as the Proteas chased 282 to win. The ICC, world cricket's governing body, posted a 45-second clip on its official social media channels that has gone viral and elicited chuckles for a bizarre reason. In the slow-mo clip, which you can watch below, new ICC chairman Jay Shah is very much the star of the show, featuring in 11 of the 23 frames in the video. Shots of the Proteas celebrating on the Lord's balcony and lifting the trophy are interspersed with shots of Shah watching on in the stands and congratulating South Africa's players as they lifted the WTC mace. Shah, the 36-year-old son of Indian's Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah, became ICC president in December, taking over from New Zealand's Greg Barclay. India were defeated by New Zealand in the inaugural WTC final before losing to Australia in the 2023 final, so cricket fans were bemused by the Indian cricket boss getting far more screen time than the actual players in the harmless social clip. Leading cricket writer Gideon Haigh wrote for Cricket. et al: 'Sick bag at the ready? I may just have just seen the worst thing ever. Or maybe it was this. The cumulative message is hard to miss. 'You may have imagined that the World Test Championship final was a soul-stirring triumph for South Africa, a memento mori for Australia, a testament to the red ball cricket's timeless appeal, or whatever. 'But the ICC has news: it was all just a Trumpesque parade for ICC chairman Jay Shah, whose personal videographer was on hand to capture him receiving homage in Peckinpahesque slow motion.' Cricket broadcaster Paul Dennett chuckled: 'This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. He's everywhere in the video. The ICC has jumped the shark.' Adding to the intrigue was the fact the ICC deleted the original video, then reuploaded the clip simply to tag the correct Cricket Australia account. Cricket reporter Andrew Wu wrote on X: 'If you blink at the wrong time, you'll miss the only shot of Pat Cummins. Jay Shah on the other hand… 'Great to see the ICC got rid of the original post that featured Jay Shah in 11 of the 23 frames. Would've been crazy to let an administrator overshadow what happened on the field. Oh wait …' Shah will be keeping an eye on India's five Test series against India that kicks off at Headingley on Friday. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has asked the BCCI not to be considered for the captaincy for the series, with Shubman Gill likely to take over following the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. 'I called the BCCI and said I don't want to be looked at in a leadership role because I won't be able to give all the Test matches in a five-Test match series.' Bumrah left the SCG Test against Australia in January with back spasms, cruelling India's hopes of levelling the series and retaining the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
