and Anderson .Paak fueled dating rumors once again with their appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Their time together at the event, along with their public appearances, has left fans questioning about the nature of their relationship.
Here are more details about it.
Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak have continued to spark dating rumors, three months after first being linked. The speculation grew stronger after the two were seen recently together at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. At the ceremony, Carey was presented with the prestigious Icon Award. Seated beside her in the audience, Paak was visibly supportive. He even helped her as she made her way onto the stage.
During her speech, Carey took a playful moment to ask about the lighting before expressing gratitude toward the president of iHeartRadio, interns, and her devoted fans. She also paid tribute to her late mother, Patricia Carey, whom she lost in August 2024. The singer said, 'And on this St. Patrick's Day, I want to honor my mother, Patricia Carey, for giving me the gift of music.'
Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak first raised eyebrows in December 2024 when they were spotted together in Colorado's Aspen. Following the conclusion of her Christmas Time tour, she traveled to Aspen. The two were spotted walking hand in hand, just a few days before Christmas. At the time, it was reported citing an insider that their relationship was strictly professional and that they were working on music together at Carey's Aspen studio.
Notably, Paak filed for divorce from Jae Lin in early 2024. Meanwhile, Carey has been single since her split from dancer Bryan Tanaka more than two years ago. Though neither has addressed the rumors or confirmed that they are dating, their recent appearance together has only fueled speculation.

Post box at crematorium inspires children's book

A crematorium's memorial post box has inspired a new children's picture book. A letters to loved ones post box, like the one in Langstone Vale Crematorium, is included in This Letter Says I Love You, published by Scholastic Books and now available for visitors to read at the site. The book tells the real-life story behind the post box, which allows people to send letters to loved ones they have lost. Aaron Carter, manager at Langstone Vale Crematorium, said: "We have all been very touched by the positive feedback we've had from the bereaved who have benefited from using our memorial post box. "Whether for special days such as Christmas, Mother's Day or Father's Day, a birthday, an anniversary, or just because someone has something they feel they wish to share with their loved one, the memorial post box is available all year round for people to use whenever they wish. "We're all proud to see the memorial post box appear in print, and we believe this new book is perfect for supporting and comforting children who are grieving a loss of a loved one." The concept was inspired by 10-year-old Matilda Handy, who wanted to write to her late grandmother. Her wish led to the installation of the UK's first memorial post box at Gedling Crematorium in Nottinghamshire, where her mother, Leanne, works. Both Gedling and Langstone Vale crematoria are part of the Westerleigh Group, which subsequently installed the post boxes across all 41 of its sites in England, Scotland, and Wales. The book features Matilda's original letter, the first to be posted at Gedling in December 2022. Written by Lucy Rowland and illustrated by Sharon Rentta, the book is intended to comfort children experiencing grief. Mr Carter said: "We have a copy of This Letter Says I Love You book at our crematorium which our visitors are very welcome to read whenever they are here."

Royal Family's Lord Ivar Mountbatten Reveals Shocking Insight Into ‘Torturous Relationship' With His Mother

Lord Ivar Mountbatten is best known these days as one of the Season 3 winners of The Traitors. But, Ivar, who is a cousin of King Charles through Prince Philip's family, is now making headlines for something much more personal. He just opened up about his strained relationship with his mother, Janet Mercedes Bryce. And according to Ivar, things between them were never easy. Ivar Mountbatten says his mother 'never' raised him 'Both my brother and myself have quite a torturous relationship with her,' the 62-year-old royal and Traitors prize pot winner revealed on the August 18 episode of Rosebud With Gyles Brandreth podcast. 'I mean, she never looked after us. We were brought up by nannies.' Janet, now 87, was married to David Mountbatten, the 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven, until his death in 1970. The couple had two sons, George and Ivar. But after their father passed, Ivar says their mother wasn't around much at all. 'We had this wonderful German nanny who looked after us right from the word go,' he recalled. 'In fact, I went on holiday with my nanny because [she] wouldn't refuse my mother to look after us. She would be absolutely hopeless. So we didn't really see her very much as youngsters.' Ivar remembered how he and George would question her absence during family holidays. 'We would often say to her, 'Why didn't you come down for Christmas? Why didn't you come down for the weekend?' Her stock answer was, 'I can't be bothered.'' While he admits her parenting style was 'irritating,' Ivar insists he doesn't carry resentment. 'We had the most wonderful life. I always say that I've got nothing to complain about. I'm one of those people that just gets on with it.' Still, time hasn't softened their bond. Janet has been bedridden since a hip replacement in 2018, and Ivar says he and his brother are now responsible for her care. 'It's laziness,' he said. 'That sort of irritated my brother and myself. So we've ended up having to do everything for her.' Even with the years of distance, Ivar admitted the thought of losing her brings up complicated feelings. 'When she finally goes, will I be sad? I suppose, yes, I will be sad.' Even through the strain, his feelings show a son's love never fully disappears. Season 3 of The Traitors streams on Peacock.
