H.E. Sheikh Joaan is currently the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee and Senior Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). His nomination was forwarded by the Qatar Olympic Committee and seconded by 3 other National Olympic Committees (NOCs).
The election for the President of OCA has been called due to the continuing ill health of the current President, Raja Randhir Singh from India.
The election for the President of OCA will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 26th January 2026.
