Stunning LSU fan who went viral at LSU college baseball game is identified

Daily Mail4 hours ago

An LSU baseball fan who went viral during the team's college World Series win over the weekend has been identified.
Cameras cut to her celebrating in the crowd when LSU went 5-1 up against Coastal Carolina on Sunday on their way to a series-clinching triumph.
The mystery blonde went viral on social media as fans took notice of her cheering her team but she has now seemingly been unmasked by the popular social media account 'Old Row Official', who say the fan's name is Alicia Huggins.
'In retrospect, Coastal never stood a chance @Alicia_huggs,' the account wrote on Instagram, taggin her in multiple pictures from her day out at the game.
Huggins hasn't responded directly to the post and her own Instagram page is private but it appears that she runs her own beauty company in Louisiana.
When the clip itself was posted on social media from Sunday's game, there were multiple comments about Huggins.

'I thought I was the only one who saw her,' said one post from an admirier. Another read: 'Only part of the game I remember'.
'Only thing I saw in this video,' said another.
The moment Huggins was caught on camera was a particularly decisive time as LSU knocked previously unbeaten Coastal ace Jacob Morrison out of the game with a four-run fourth inning.
The Tigers won their second national title in three years Sunday with a 5-3 victory in the College World Series finals.
The Tigers (53-15) completed a two-game sweep of the Chanticleers (56-13), who entered the finals on a 26-game win streak.
The 2023 LSU team that also won that title was led by Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews, the top two picks in the MLB amateur draft that year.
Skenes is now one of the most feared pitchers in Major League Baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates and off the field, is famous for dating Olivia Dunne.
Overall, Sunday's triumph was LSU's 8th baseball title in its history.

MLB roundup: Elly De La Cruz outduels Aaron Judge, Reds beat Yanks

June 24 - Elly De La Cruz homered, tripled, singled and drove in three runs as the Cincinnati Reds beat the visiting New York Yankees 6-1 in the opener of a three-game set on Monday night. De La Cruz atoned for a pair of defensive miscues by falling just a double shy of his second career cycle. He topped off his memorable night with his 18th homer, an opposite-field shot to right in the eighth inning. Gavin Lux added a solo homer for the Reds. Cincinnati reliever Scott Barlow (3-0) relieved starter Nick Lodolo with one out in the fifth and retired all five batters he faced to earn the win. Aaron Judge belted a 398-foot homer to the upper deck in left, his 28th of the season, while Cody Bellinger doubled twice and had three hits for the Yankees. Mariners 11, Twins 2 Cal Raleigh hit his league-leading 32nd home run, Julio Rodriguez drove in four with a double and a home run, and Seattle routed Minnesota in Minneapolis. Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone added homers for the Mariners, who won the series opener with righty Bryan Woo (7-4) tossing six innings of two-run baseball. He had nine strikeouts while surrendering six hits. Carlos Correa and Trevor Larnach responded with solo shots for Minnesota, which lost for the 10th time in 11 games. Bailey Ober (4-5) gave up seven runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts over seven innings. Orioles 6, Rangers 0 Jackson Holliday smacked a three-run home run and a run-scoring double and Trevor Rogers pitched eight shutout innings as Baltimore defeated visiting Texas to open a three-game series. Rogers (1-0), in his third big-league outing of the season, held the Rangers to three singles across eight frames. He struck out four without a walk. Holliday racked up three hits and Ramon Laureano had a double among his two hits for Baltimore, which had eight players with at least one hit. The Rangers didn't threaten, stranding three runners and only having one plate appearance with a runner in scoring position. Starter Patrick Corbin (4-7) allowed five runs and nine hits in five-plus innings. He struck out six without issuing a walk. Diamondbacks 10, White Sox 0 Pavin Smith hit two home runs and drove in four, Ketel Marte homered among his three hits and Eduardo Rodriguez pitched six strong innings as Arizona routed host Chicago. Arizona out-hit Chicago 13-5, roughing up White Sox starter Shane Smith and four relievers on the way to its fourth win in five games. The White Sox have lost 10 of 12. Rodriguez (3-4) cruised behind the early support, limiting the White Sox to five hits in six shutout innings while striking out 10 against two walks. He has won each of his five career starts at Rate Field. Braves 3, Mets 2 Spencer Schwellenbach tossed seven strong innings and earned the win for visiting Atlanta, which beat reeling New York in the opener of a four-game series between the National League East rivals. Michael Harris II delivered a second-inning sacrifice fly before Ronald Acuna Jr. homered and Sean Murphy lofted another sac fly an inning later for the Braves, who have won five of seven, including four straight against the Mets since last Tuesday. Schwellenbach (6-4) gave up the two runs on four hits with one walk while striking out four. Juan Soto hit a two-run homer in the sixth but struck out with runners at the corners to end the eighth for the Mets, who have lost nine of 10. Cardinals 8, Cubs 2 Lars Nootbaar, Brendan Donovan, Alec Burleson and Nolan Gorman hit two-run homers as host St. Louis pummeled Chicago. Willson Contreras added two doubles in a 3-for-4 night for the Cardinals, who won for the sixth time in seven games to move within 3 1/2 games of the division-leading Cubs. Matthew Liberatore (5-6) allowed two runs on six hits over seven innings. Ben Brown (4-6) gave up eight runs on nine hits in five-plus innings for the Cubs, who lost for the fourth time in their last five. Pete Crow-Armstrong, Nico Hoerner and Carson Kelly went 2-for-3 in the defeat. Pirates 5, Brewers 4 Isiah Kiner-Falefa tripled in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning and Nick Gonzales had five hits as visiting Pittsburgh held on to beat Milwaukee in the opener of a three-game series. Gonzales had two doubles and three singles, driving in two runs, and Tommy Pham hit his first home run of the year for the Pirates, who won back-to-back games for the first time since June 6-9. Christian Yelich brought the Brewers even at 4-all in the fifth with his 15th homer, a two-run shot down the right field line. Milwaukee had its four-game winning streak snapped. Angels 9, Red Sox 5 Los Angeles broke open a tie game with four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning en route to a Victory over visiting Boston. Christian Moore's sacrifice fly drove in LaMonte Wade Jr. to put Los Angeles in front 6-5, and the Angels made it 7-5 when Garrett Whitlock (5-1) walked Taylor Ward with the bases loaded. Travis d'Arnaud's two-run single extended the lead to 9-5. Zach Neto provided a solo home run for the Angels, and Trevor Story hit a solo home run for the Red Sox. Sam Bachman (1-0) tossed a scoreless eighth. Angels closer Kenley Jansen was removed from the game with an apparent injury after throwing four pitches in the ninth. Nationals 10, Padres 6 James Wood homered and drove in four runs as visiting Washington topped San Diego. Wood hit towering three-run homer off the right field foul pole in the top of the eighth to make it 9-3. It was the 22nd homer for Wood, a former Padre prospect who the Nationals acquired three years ago in an eight-player trade that sent Juan Soto the other way. Mitchell Parker (5-8) got the win, allowing six hits and three runs in six-plus innings with two walks and a strikeout. Stephen Kolek (3-3) permitting five hits and five runs (four earned) over 4 1/3 innings. Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a three-run homer for San Diego in the ninth. --Field Level Media

Kevin Bacon and wife Kyra Sedgwick celebrate their rarely seen son Travis

and his wife Kyra Sedgwick celebrated the 36th birthday of their rarely seen son Travis Bacon on Monday. The 66-year-old Sirens actor - who boasts 17.3M social media followers - captioned his Instagram slideshow tribute: 'Happy birthday TSB! Boy I love my Boy.' The goth nepo baby replied in the comments: 'Thanks Dad!' The 59-year-old Bad Shabbos actress shared her mother-son Instagram tribute captioned: 'Happy birthday to my baby boy @svrtcntraclt.' Travis spent his special day in Austin, TX with his girlfriend, burlesque performer Angelina Sambrotto aka 'Battyna Sin.' Bacon has composed the scores for several films, he's the co-founder of horror production company Slashtag Cinema, and he's one half of the industrial duo Contracult Collective. Kevin and Kyra are also proud parents of 33-year-old daughter Sosie Bacon, who last acted in Eddie Mensore's drug drama Hazard having grown up on movie sets just like her big brother. Last November, Variety revealed the entire family-of-four will co-star in their own meta horror comedy called Family Movie. On June 7, Bacon and Sedgwick attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Michael J. Weithorn's Brooklyn-set rom-com The Best You Can, which they produced and starred in, marking their first film together in 20 years. In it, the Emmy winner portrays Dr. Cynthia Rand, who forms an unlikely bond with the Emmy nominee's character, home security guard Stan Olszewski, after her attempted break-in. 'I think they call it a scene partner for a reason, because you have to, in that moment, form a sort of partnership, even if the partnership is that you're two actors who hate each other,' Kevin told E! News on the red carpet. 'We've been partners for a really long time, so we take that life partnership and, you know, just kind of transfer it into our scene partnership.' Kevin and Kyra are also proud parents of 33-year-old daughter Sosie Bacon, who last acted in Eddie Mensore's drug drama Hazard having grown up on movie sets just like her big brother (pictured in 1999) On June 7, Bacon and Sedgwick attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Michael J. Weithorn's Brooklyn-set rom-com The Best You Can, which they produced and starred in, marking their first film together in 20 years The married couple of 36 years - who are ninth cousins once removed - originally met in 1978 when 12-year-old Kyra complimented 19-year-old Kevin's performance in an off-Broadway play, and they reconnected in 1987 while co-starring in PBS movie Lemon Sky. As for any lasting marriage advice, Kyra scoffed: 'Secret is don't take advice from celebrities about how to stay married.' Kevin will not be returning as resurrected bounty hunter Hub Halloran in Grainger David's The Bondsman since Amazon Prime Video canceled the supernatural series last month. But Bacon and his big brother Michael Bacon are next scheduled to bring their band the Bacon Brothers to the Warner Vineyards in Paw Paw, MI on July 16. The eighties heartthrob famously got his big break dancing in the 1984 hit movie Footloose, which amassed $80M at the global box office despite dismal reviews.
