According to the General Department for Combating Narcotics, the arrest came after a period of close surveillance and investigation. Authorities reportedly found a quantity of marijuana, cocaine, and other controlled substances in her possession during the operation.
'The arrest was made based on credible intelligence and after following proper legal procedures,' the ministry said. 'The suspect was found in possession of substances intended for personal consumption.'
The woman has been referred to the public prosecution for further investigation.
