Vlogger travels the world with golden retrievers, takes ‘top 7 global selfies' with them: ‘Happiest person in the world'
Travelling with friends and family is always a joy, but travelling with pets is an adventure that hits different. If you're someone who loves both travel and furry companions, this video might just be the highlight of your day.
Popular travel vlogger Kevin Bubolz and his wife Katie have been winning hearts online for a while now, thanks to their wholesome travel diaries with their two golden retrievers, Ellie and Emma. Their Instagram feed is packed with adorable moments, and their latest upload is no exception. This time, Kevin has shared a fun reel of his 'top 7 global selfies' with his photogenic pups.
It kicks off in Paris, and of course, where better than in front of the Eiffel Tower? As Kevin calls Ellie over for a selfie, she happily sprints to him and leaps onto his shoulders. 'And smile,' Kevin prompts, and like a seasoned pro, Ellie flashes her best grin.
From there, the video takes us to Poland, then Canada, with Emma making her debut. In every shot, the dogs are full of energy, running towards their human, hopping on his shoulders, and giving the camera their happiest, tail-wagging smiles. Belgium's charming castles, a cheerful moment in Germany, it's basically a world tour of joyful dog selfies.
But it's Italy where the clip gets its funniest twist. Filmed in front of scenic gardens and rolling hills, Kevin gives his usual cue. Emma jumps up right away, ready for her close-up. Ellie? She has other plans. Spying a lake nearby, she bolts for it, leaving Kevin laughing: 'She left us.'
A post shared by Golden Retriever Life (@elliegoldenlife)
In the caption, Kevin also added a sweet little detail: 'Ever since Ellie was a puppy, she's loved the camera. So a few years ago, we started taking selfies and working on smiles.'
It's no surprise the video has blown up with over 10 million views and counting, it's proof that globe-trotting with dogs might just be the Internet's new favourite genre.
People poured love into the comments. 'I smiled the whole time watching this,' wrote a user. Another user wrote, 'Think I have just found the richest man in the world.' A third person called him, 'Happiest person in the world.'

'Thank you for giving me the courage': Karan Johar remembers Yash Johar with emotional Fathers Day tribute
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 15 (ANI): On Father's Day, filmmaker Karan Johar posted a deeply emotional social media post honouring the memory of his late father, Yash Johar. Accompanying a nostalgic black-and-white photograph of the two, which seems to have been taken on a film set, Karan shared a heartfelt message reflecting on the values and legacy passed down to him by his father. "He made films with soul and for the soul... and he lived life with even more," Karan wrote, adding, "He taught me that good storytelling begins with you... and your good heart. Thank you for giving me the courage to feel deeply. Thank you for giving me the courage to show these feelings on the biggest screens possible. Happy Father's Day papa, thank you... for you." Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan responded with a simple but powerful "Love him," while Maheep Kapoor expressed her affection through heart emojis, reflecting the widespread admiration Yash Johar continues to command within the film fraternity. Yash Johar, the founder of Dharma Productions, passed away in June 2004 after battling cancer, but his influence endures through Karan Johar's celebrated body of work, which includes iconic films such as 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'My Name Is Khan', and, more recently, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan responded with "Love him," while Maheep Kapoor expressed her affection through heart emojis. In another post, Karan celebrated himself as being the father of his twins, Roohi and Yash. He shared a picture on Instagram posing with them and wrote, "Today I celebrate myself ... for completing my own half existence with the presence of my blessings Roohi and Yash... they filled a deep void and created some more space for love in my aura and heart..." Karan Johar became a father to Yash and Roohi in February 2017 via surrogacy. He named his son Yash after his late father, a renowned filmmaker, and chose the name Roohi as an anagram of his mother's name, Hiroo. (ANI)

'Is your filmmaker mother disappointed?': Zohran Mamdani shares Mira Nair's take on his videos
Indian-origin Democrat Zohran Mamdani has been turning heads in the 2025 New York mayoral race, taking on incumbent Andrew Cuomo with the hope of becoming the city's first Muslim and Indian-American mayor. The 33-year-old democratic socialist is the son of renowned Indian-American filmmaker Mira Nair and Ugandan academic Mahmood Mamdani. As his campaign gains momentum, Mamdani has cleverly woven Bollywood references and Hindi into his outreach to New York's diverse voter base. Appearing on the Throwing Fits podcast, Mamdani was asked: "Is your filmmaker mother disappointed that you are filming all your social media content on an iPhone and in 16x9?" Mamdani laughed before revealing that, far from being disappointed, Nair is always interested in his campaign's video production. "She asks me 'Why aren't you sending me cuts?'," Mamdani said. He added that his mother even jokes about the quality of his viral videos: "She was telling somebody, 'His stuff is so good, people are asking if I am making it.'" A post shared by Throwing Fits (@throwingfits) Nair has openly celebrated her son's political rise. After Mamdani won his election to the New York State Assembly, she posted on X: 'And Zohran is in! Change is gonna come.' Mamdani's unique campaign style includes one particularly viral video shot entirely in Hindi, amassing millions of views on social media. The video riffs off scenes and dialogues from Amitabh Bachchan's 1975 classic Deewar, with Mamdani cheekily reworking the iconic line "mere pass maa hai" to tell voters that they are what he has. Beyond his creative campaigning, Mamdani has laid out an ambitious progressive platform: guaranteeing housing for all New Yorkers, eliminating cash bail, banning solitary confinement, fixing the MTA, ending workplace discrimination, and championing social, racial, economic, and environmental justice. Born in Kampala, Uganda, Mamdani moved to New York City with his family at the age of seven and has called the city home ever since. (Also read: Who is Rama Duwaji?
