Pawan Kalyan
's ambitious period action drama 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword vs Spirit' or simply 'HHVM', which arrived in cinemas earlier this year with sky-high expectations, is now streaming online.
The film, initially touted as the actor's big pan-India outing, failed to make an impact at the box office and has made its way to digital, hoping to find a second wind with audiences at home.
streaming in multiple languages
The historical epic is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The streamer is said to have bagged the post-theatrical rights for a staggering Rs 50 crore, according to a report by Cinema Express.
Directed initially by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film later saw Jyothi Krishna, son of producer AM Rathnam, take over directorial duties. Despite a star-studded lineup featuring Pawan Kalyan, Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, and Nidhhi Agerwal, the film struggled to live up to its hype. For fans, it was also unusual to see Pawan Kalyan participate in heavy promotions, something the actor-politician rarely does.
Unfortunately, even the extensive marketing push could not prevent the film from receiving a lukewarm response.

box office performance below expectations
According to a trade tracker Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 84.3 crore net in India and Rs 113.85 crore worldwide. This is significantly below expectations based on its enormity and investment. Critics and fans had many complaints, which included prominent flaws; as was reflected in the most frequent complaints, which were weak visual effects and disjointed screenplay elements, most noticeably in the second half.
The OTT release may give the film a fresh opportunity to connect with viewers who skipped it in theatres.
During its release, the film also faced a clash with Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom' and mythological animated film, 'Mahavatar Narasimha', which were released around the same time.

Jia Mustafa on her absence from Mangal Lakshmi; says ‘I'm glad I'm being missed, Saumya will be back soon'

Actress Jia Mustafa , who essays the role of Saumya Saxena, Adit's (Naman Shaw) second wife in Mangal Lakshmi starring Deepika Singh and Naman Shaw, has been noticeably missing from the recent episodes. With the introduction of new characters—Kapil Nirmal as Kapil Bhatnagar and Sambhabana Mohanty—fans were quick to question Saumya's absence from the track. Addressing the curiosity, Jia shared, 'This is the format of daily soaps, there will always be new twists and turns and new characters to keep the audience hooked. I am constantly reading comments and DM's from fans of the show asking me about my disappearance and return… and it makes me happy to know I'm being missed. I'm glad the audience enjoys watching me as Saumya and I'll be back soon to continue entertaining them. We have all given our 100% to the show for the past one and a half years and are deeply attached to our characters. God willing our show will continue to thrive for years to come.' Opening up about her experience of playing Saumya, Jia said, 'I have enjoyed every moment of playing Saumya. This has been my most diverse character and has offered me a large range of emotions to portray. Of course she's all black and it's difficult to relate with everything she does… but television negative leads have always been full of craziness and spunk and it's been challenging as well as extremely satisfying to play this part. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Your Finger Shape Says a Lot About Your Personality, Read Now Tips and Tricks Undo ' On facing backlash for her on-screen negativity, she added, 'Saumya does receive a lot of hate and a lot of abusive comments. I have my days when I laugh about it and I also have days where it triggers me. I don't mind hate directed to the character, I completely understand the sentiments of the audience. It's when the comments get personal is when I tend to get affected… however, it's all part and parcel of playing a negative character and as long as I'm doing my job well… I'm happy. There are a lot of perks of playing a negative part… and I have chosen to do so keeping all those in mind… so no complaints.' Jia Mustafa, also known for shows like Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, Pavitra Rishta, Bisaat, and Carry On Alia, continues to win hearts—even while playing a hated character.
