According to an Iranian journalist, Ayatollah Khamenei, aged 85, maintains a highly disciplined lifestyle, and he reportedly wakes up at 5 am. He spends his mornings engaged in teaching and religious activities, offers his prayers, and handles key administrative duties related to Iran's national policies. In the evenings, he attends important meetings and policy discussions, retiring for the day between 10:15 and 10:30 pm. He is also known to advise Iranian youth to avoid drugs, rise early, and maintain a healthy daily schedule.
They underlined that since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, drugs have been deemed "un-Islamic" in Iran, and Khamenei himself is known to be a staunch opponent of drug abuse. The country imposes strict penalties, including the death sentence, for serious drug-related offences.
The Iranian side dismissed the drug-use allegations as part of a broader digital misinformation campaign aimed at damaging the credibility of Iran's top leadership.

It is believed that Mossad's alleged propaganda is part of an information warfare strategy targeting Khamenei's public image. With Iran reportedly grappling with economic hardships, such allegations—if believed by the Iranian public—could stoke unrest and discontent within the country.
The goal could be to destabilise Iran internally without firing a single shot.
This isn't the first time such attempts have been made. In the past, there were unverified reports about Khamenei's health, including rumours of him being in a coma. However, those claims were later disproved when he appeared in public, seemingly in good health.

The US has imposed a 25% tariff on India. How can India and Iran strengthen their ties in this context? The history of India and Iran is deeply intertwined. To understand Iran's history, one must study India's, and vice versa. Over centuries, many Iranians migrated to India seeking safety and peace, as India was a hub of knowledge and culture. For instance, Indian scholars wrote 250 books addressing a single question about whether water was available to Imam Hussain on the night of Ashura, highlighting India's historical role as a center of learning. There has always been a strong bond between Iran and India in knowledge, science, culture, and trade. Unfortunately, over time, we lost some of that closeness. However, we hope that through the efforts of both nations and their governments, we can revive those ties. Many Indian cities and places still bear Iranian names, and numerous mosques and imambaras were built by Iranian immigrants. Currently, the economic relationship between Iran and India is good but has the potential to be much stronger, given the vast opportunities available. Politically, our ties are also positive, and we are grateful to both the Indian and Iranian governments for their efforts. With greater collaboration between our parliaments and ministries of trade, agriculture, and industry, we can further enhance these relations. Can Iran offer any specific proposals to India, especially in light of the US tariffs? Absolutely. The recent tensions between India and the US have opened a new chapter for India-Iran relations. Both nations are members of BRICS, which provides a platform to strengthen economic cooperation. Iran is eager to deepen its cultural and economic ties with India. Our Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, has a deep affection for India and consistently emphasizes the need for stronger bilateral relations. How does Ayatollah Khamenei view India? As you know, the Supreme Leader has representatives in only five countries worldwide, and India is one of them, reflecting its significance. He loves India, its culture, and its people, and he always advocates for better cultural and economic ties. Israeli ex-security chiefs urge Trump to help end Gaza war
Hundreds of retired Israeli security officials, including former heads of intelligence agencies, have urged U.S. President Donald Trump to pressure their own government to end the war in Gaza. "It is our professional judgement that Hamas no longer poses a strategic threat to Israel," the former officials wrote in an open letter shared with the media on Monday. "At first this war was a just war, a defensive war, but when we achieved all military objectives, this war ceased to be a just war," said Ami Ayalon, former director of the Shin Bet security service. The war, nearing its 23rd month, "is leading the State of Israel to lose its security and identity," Mr. Ayalon warned in a video released to accompany the letter. Signed by 550 people, including former chiefs of Shin Bet and the Mossad spy agency, the letter called on Mr. Trump to "steer" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu towards a ceasefire. Israel launched its military operation in the Gaza Strip in response to the deadly October 7, 2023 attack by Palestinian militant group Hamas. In recent weeks Israel has come under increasing international pressure to agree a ceasefire that could Israeli hostages released from Gaza and UN agencies distribute humanitarian aid. But some in Israel, including ministers in Netanyahu's coalition government, are instead pushing for Israeli forces to push on and for Gaza to be occupied in whole or in part. The letter was signed by three former Mossad heads: Tamir Pardo, Efraim Halevy and Danny Yatom. In the letter, the former officials tell Trump that he has credibility with the majority of Israelis and can put pressure on Netanyahu to end the war and return the hostages.
