Is There a Season 2, Part 2 of 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives'? What We Know
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has captured millions of viewers and the season seemingly ending on a cliff hanger has fans wondering if another 10 episodes could be coming out to end season 2.
Newsweek reached out to Hulu via email for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
The Context
The series has become a breakout unscripted hit for Hulu, offering a rare window into the real-life drama and friendship challenges of Mormon social media influencers. It broke Hulu's unscripted premiere records and scoring millions of views within days of it premiering in 2024.
Last fall, Hulu quickly announced Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had the go ahead for 20 more episodes, although, it's unclear if those 20 episodes will be part of season 2 or broken up between season 2 and 3.
Is There a Season 2, Part 2 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?
It's unclear if there is going to be a season 2 part two of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Hulu has not announced a part two, and there's no indication on Hulu that the episodes that have been released so far are part one. However, the last episode of the second season ends on a cliffhanger as to whether Demi Engemenn and Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa had an affair. That, combined with the order of 20 more episodes in the fall, has fans wondering if another 10 episodes will be coming out.

MoreAre There More Episodes of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?
There are at least 10 more episodes of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, according to the announcement made in the fall.
At this time, Hulu has not provided a specific release date for the next 10 episodes. However, if Hulu follows its same pattern, there will not be a part two of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Hulu has used a similar strategy for other reality hits, such as The Kardashians, where the company has signed off on 20 episodes but broken them up into two separate seasons. So, the remaining 10 episodes could be put out in Season 3 instead of Season 2, Part 2.
When Will Season 3 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Come Out?
No official premiere date for a third season has been announced by Hulu. However, it's possible viewers won't have that long to wait, since Season 2 premiered only about eight months after Season 1.
What People Are Saying
Rob Mills, Executive Vice President, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, Walt Disney Television, told Deadline in October: "There was a philosophical question raised in season one which was 'Can #MomTok survive this?' The answer unequivocally is yes! Spring 2025, get your dirty sodas ready!"
Engemenn told Us Weekly: "Nothing happened with Marciano. At the expense of sounding rude, there wasn't even a remote attraction to him. It sucks that women can't be kind and friendly and even playful with men in this world without it being taken as like you're open. I had a rock on my finger the entire time I was there."
What Happens Next
The release date for the next 10 episodes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has not been formally announced. Executive producer Jeff Jenkins told the Hollywood Reporter he'd love to get someone who works for the Church of Latter Day Saints to come on the show and share their perspective.

Theo James And Adam Scott Shine In Horror Film "The Monkey"
Horror fans rejoice! The 2025 horror film The Monkey is finally available on Hulu to watch. I'll tell you this: I. WASN'T. READY. For those unaware, the GOAT of horror writers, Stephen King, wrote a short story called "The Monkey" about a toy that brings great misfortune to those who use it. Neon hired Longlegs director Osgood "Oz" Perkins to helm The the hype for this was REAL. Visually alone, you knew the film was going to deliver on looks with Perkins behind the camera. I'm telling you, more people need to not watch trailers before seeing the movie, because everything was a mystery to me going into this. The flip side? I was mad I didn't watch it sooner! Warning: The Monkey spoilers to follow! Twenty seconds into the movie, and I was thinking: WHY THE HELL is Adam Scott in this, and why didn't I know sooner? I'm sure Parks & Rec and Severance fans will laugh when they hear I know him for his role as Tom in Krampus. The entire opening was wonderfully unhinged, and I did not have "Adam Scott weilding flamethrower to roast the monkey" on my bingo in the first five minutes. A small role, but nothing small about it. After seeing the childhood of Hal and Bill, we meet the adult version of Hal, who is played by none other than Theo James. Most would probably know him for his role in the Divergent films. He plays the role of both adult Hal and adult Bill. I thought the performance(s) by him perfectly suited the film's dry, ridiculous humor. We have been getting a lot of "twin" tropes lately in cinema, and I thought they kept the two characters away long enough for it not to be jarring. (Still, fraternal twins are a thing, man, and I would like to see more actors get leading role chances) Bill, who eventually was driven mad by the not-a-toy monkey, kept seeing the Monkey everywhere he went, which meant we got to see the monkey in stripper form, shaking it for dollar bills. Seriously, some shots in this film are absolutely wild. One of the biggest laughs was seeing Bill wearing his kid-sized funeral attire as an adult after he said he was never taking it off as a child, which clued audiences right away that he was fully off the deep end. The entire film was really carried by the performances, like Tatiana Maslany as the mom. Her death was terrifying, but her character was hilarious for what little time she had on screen. It felt like her character rubbed off on the sons, which checks out, since she's their mom. Rohan Campbell, better known for his role as Corey in Halloween Ends, played Ricky was hilarious. He simply wanted the monkey back because it reminded him of his he was willing to kill for it. And a special shout-out to the rookie priest, played by Nicco Del Rio. Very brief screentime, but every line had me in stitches. The film is indeed a bloody mess. The gore isn't only present, it's in your face, hands, arms, over. It felt very similar to a Final Destination movie, only without knowing who would die next. No doubt, The Monkey is a MUST-WATCH for any horror fan. What did you think about The Monkey? The Best Showgirl-Inspired Movies to Watch Before Taylor Swift's New Album Drops
Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Although the popularity of live showgirls has waned through the years, their iconic presence still looms large in our collective imagination. So, it's no surprise that Taylor Swift has tapped into their glamorous imagery and rich history with her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which is due October 3. Fans will naturally want to immerse themselves not only in Swift's music, but also in her muse(s). Luckily, many other artists have been inspired by the ostentatious productions of Las Vegas, Broadway's Ziegfeld Follies, vaudeville, burlesque, and every other iteration of the showgirl, and there are many films out there dedicated to the art. Under the glitz, feathers, and coordinated ensembles, each individual showgirl has her own story to tell—just like Swift herself. As she recently explained on Travis Kelce's podcast, 'This album isn't really about what happened to me on stage [during the Eras Tour]. It's about what I was going through offstage.' Below are some of the best movies about the inner life of the showgirl (and other similar performers), and who she is both on stage and off. Scroll through for inspiration on how to shine in the spotlight, no matter what's happening in the wings. This campy dramatic thriller stars Elizabeth Berkley, Kyle MacLachlan, and Gina Gershon. It focuses on a young woman named Nomi Malone who hitches a ride to las Vegas to find fame as a dancer. The film's original NC-17 rating did not stop it from being frequently aired on cable with certain key moments censored for impressionable audiences. However, the movie does contain some extreme sexual violence in addition to graphic nudity, so approach with care. Watch Now on Hulu Set in Las Vegas, Pamela Anderson plays a showgirl who has to make some hard life decisions after her show of 30 years abruptly closes. The film, directed by Gia Coppola, co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kiernan Shipka, Billie Lourd, and Brenda Song. Based on a wildly popular Broadway play, this classic film follows four actresses in a show beset with issues and bankrolled by a secret millionaire. The movie was produced in the heyday of the showgirl era, which coincided with the Great Depression, showing a pretty accurate portrayal of how people escaped their grim reality with spectacle. Watch Now on Prime Video Christina Aguilera should be enough of a draw in this classic story of a small town girl with big dreams, showing the world what she's got. (Of course, Cher and Stanley Tucci are wonderful additions too.) Tune in for the songs, stay for the cast chemistry. Watch Now on Apple TV+ American chorus girl Elsie Marina, played by Marilyn Monroe, catches the eye of a foreign prince while prancing on stage. Their encounter naturally leads to issues for them both, but with a surprisingly romantic conclusion. Set in Paris, this romantic and melodramatic musical stars Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor as two star-crossed lovers who inevitably come to a tragic end. But watching Kidman soar across the stage as the doomed Sabine is worth the ride. Again set in and produced during the Great Depression, 42nd Street follows a group of people trying to get a show up on its feet. While highlighting the challenges of producing such a collaborative work, the movie ends with a celebration of the showgirl over the rest of the team. Most people remember White Christmas as a holiday film about putting on a last minute show to save a very special resort in the post-WWII era. But before that happens, Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye meet Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen playing two sisters who make a living on stage. The movie's musical sequences will always be memorable, but the Haynes Sisters' act might be one of the biggest highlights. The Muppets have done a lot in their many decades on screen, but if there's one thing the merry puppets love to comment on, it's show business. The Great Muppet Caper is a comedic crime thriller, but the film contains a long and loving musical sequence honoring showgirls, starring none other than Miss Piggy herself. Watch Now on Disney+ You might consider Sister Act to be a fish-out-of water story about a woman hiding amongst a bunch of nuns and putting them on the map with musical numbers. What many forget is that Whoopi Goldberg starts her turn in the movie as a showgirl who gets sucked into mafia business and then witness protection. In a way, she makes the rest of her nun friends into showgirls, too. And the Lord approves. While she's not wearing traditional showgirl attire, Marilyn Monroe's turn as a gleeful gold digger singing 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' remains an iconic entry into the oeuvre. The entire film is a delight and offers plenty of other stunning musical numbers. Gypsy Rose Lee is not exactly a showgirl—she dabbles more in the art of burlesque—but her story is arresting. The famous Stephen Sondheim musical was adapted for film and starred Natalie Wood as the child vaudeville star forced into the spotlight by her show monster mother (played by Rosalind Russell). The costumes are stunning, the music is catchy, and Wood is timelessly charming.
