Kim Kardashian shares intimate never-before-seen photo with late dad Robert Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner
Kim Kardashian took a trip down memory lane as she shared a never-before-seen photo with her late father Robert Kardashian on Sunday. The reality TV star, 44, took to Instagram with the nostalgic image, which featured her as a little girl standing next to the attorney — who died at the age of 59 from esophageal cancer — and her mom Kris Jenner, 69. The image saw Kris with her arms around Robert, both of them smiling at the camera, along with their daughter. 'Dad, Mom and Me,' the SKIMS founder captioned the post. Kris was married to Robert from 1978 until their divorce in 1991. Aside from Kim, they also welcomed daughters Kourtney, 46, and Khloe, 41, as well as son Rob, 38. Kim — who recently tried to purchase a family heirloom connected to her father but was rejected — was 22 years old when her father passed away from in September 2003. 'Dad, Mom and Me,' the SKIMS founder captioned the post In 1998, seven years after his divorce from Kris was finalized, Robert married Jan Ashley; however, the marriage ended in annulment 30 days later. After dating for three years, the Los Angeles native married his third wife, Ellen Pierson (née Markowitz), six weeks prior to his death. Meanwhile Kris married Olympic decathlete Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce), 75, in 1991, shortly after her divorce from Robert was finalized. They had two daughters together, Kendall, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 28. Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer, like her father. In May, she completed her law school program after a six year journey. She still needs to pass the Bar Exam to practice law in the state. In 2020, Kim said she hoped that her father would be 'so proud' to see her pursuing a career in law and says whenever she gets 'frustrated' with studying, she thinks of him. 'He must've been going through some of the same things that I have gone through. It would have been exciting to talk to him about that, and I know that he would be so, so proud,' she said. Kim has been working on prison reform in recent years, and hopes setting up her own law firm will help get former inmates into work. In March, Kim's attempt to purchase a family heirloom connected to her late father was rejected by O.J. Simpson's estate. The estate's executor, Malcom LaVergne, revealed that they, sadly, had to turn down her $15,000 offer on the Bible her dad gifted Simpson, who died on April 10, 2024, because it was 'too late to purchase it outside the auction.' Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer, like her father. In May, she completed her law school program after a six year journey. She still needs to pass the Bar Exam to practice law LaVergne revealed to TMZ that Kim's team contacted him the month prior, after learning some of Simpson's personal effects were going up for auction. This included a Bible, featuring a handwritten note inside, penned by Robert to Simpson. The inscription reads: 'OJ, this book will help. God loves you and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a definite plan for your life. You are His child and He will use you again. I love you and God loves you. - Robert.' LaVergne previously revealed that the bible was given to 'The Juice' while he was in jail after his two-hour chase across Southern California in his white Ford Bronco. Inside the front cover, there contains an inscription to Simpson from Kardashian that is dated June 18, 1994 - exactly a day after the former NFL star's arrest. In an email sent to LaVergne from Kim's team, he was informed that due to the 'sentimental value' the item held to Kim, she was 'willing to offer $15,000' to purchase the Bible. By the time he received the email, LaVergne says the Bible 'was already under contract and court order to be sold to pay off O.J.'s debt.' Just weeks after the late NFL star's estate turned down Kim's offer to buy it, the family heirloom officially sold at auction for $65,800 — or $80,276 with its buyer's premium, according to its listing on Goldin Auctions' website. The item received 49 bids total. Robert, a devout Christian, and Simpson met in the 1960s or 1970s while they were both at the University of Southern California (USC). Later, they reconnected while playing tennis at a mutual friend's house. Robert infamously supported Simpson during his 1995 trial for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

Robert loses everything in Emmerdale - but a twist follows
John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth)'s campaign against his brother and love-rival Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) reaches a critical point in upcoming Emmerdale episodes as he seeks to turn everyone in the village against Robert. Robert is, of course, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller)'s first husband and many fans would say he will always be Aaron's true love. 'Robron,' as the couple were affectionately known to fans, were torn apart in 2019 when Robert was sent to prison for the manslaughter of the man who raped his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins). In a surprise twist he reappeared in the village on a particularly auspicious day – the day Aaron was about to marry John – who happens to be half-brother to Robert and Victoria. Reunited, it was obvious there was still huge chemistry between Robert and Aaron and they kissed. Ultimately Aaron chose John, and went through with the wedding. It does seem that there's unfinished business between Robert and Aaron, though, and this infuriates John. Since then, he's taken every opportunity to try to goad Robert, even getting his rival worked up to such a pitch that he smacked John over the head with a wrench – an incident that John has footage of. In recent episodes John managed to wind Robert up by poisoning the mind of his nephew Harry against Uncle Robert. When Robert lost his temper at Harry's drumming while he was looking after him, Harry was left terrified. And John was on hand to look like the good guy and be a reassuring person for Harry to cling to. Adding a bit more fuel to the fire, John exaggerates what happened when he tells Victoria about the incident. This is the last straw as far as she's concerned and she's finally had enough of Robert. John's next move is to make sure Robert is fully aware of how upset Victoria is. He gloats that Robert has lost both Victoria and Aaron. This leaves Robert in absolute despair. At his lowest point, he smashes up his room. This commotion is overheard by Aaron, who stops Robert's rampage and calms him down. Robert tells him he knows he's messed up and he's lost everything, including Aaron. He's surprised by Aaron's response. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? He says the reason he's been keeping away is that he's feeling conflicted himself. Although he's with John, he has feelings for Robert that won't go away so his only option has been to avoid him. More Trending With Aaron's confession out in the open, the two give in to their mutual passion and end up sleeping together. Obviously this is the exact opposite of what John wanted and potentially puts both of them in danger if he should find out. And that's a real possibility as, lying in bed together, they hear Victoria and John outside talking about how they should check in on Robert. Awkward. And quite possibly deadly. Roman army descends on Birdlip for festival
A recreated Roman army has marched on a quiet Cotswolds village - as part of a new festival celebrating the history of the area. Sunday morning saw the first ever Birdlip Roman Festival transform the village, with historical costumes and displays put on show by enthusiasts. Gloucestershire's Roman heritage was also on display, with archaeological activities put on by a number of organisations including the Museum of Gloucester and Coronium Museum. Festivalgoer Martin Smith told the BBC he was "super excited" about the event, adding: "I like [learning about] their day-to-day life and learning how they would have lived in this landscape during the period." Fellow attendee Kate Peake, who visited with her daughter and her mother Angela - who made her costume - said it was "brilliant" to have a Roman festival in the area. "We live just down the road, we love history and we thought we'd dress up to come and visit today," she added. Re-enactment group the Ermine Street Guard took a starring role in Sunday's festival, marching through the village in authentically recreated military wear. The area boasts a rich Roman history, with the ancient civilisation making Gloucester a key site for its empire, and many important archaeological finds have been uncovered throughout the years. Hundreds of people attended the festival, with a number of stalls selling local products, antiques and food also forming part of the event. As well as local museums putting on displays, Cotswold Archaeology and Chedworth Roman Villa were also on site with family-friendly activities.
