Premier League 2025/26 outright odds as clubs discover fixture lists
The Premier League fixtures are out and one thing that will be up for discussion will be the title race. With all 20 clubs looking at when they will face their fellow competitors, many will be discussing the annual tradition of who will be lifting the Premier League trophy come the end of the season.
This season sees Liverpool go into the season as champions and looking to secure back-to-back titles for the first time since the 1983/84 season where they secured their third consecutive league trophy.
Under Klopp, they secured their first league title in 29 years in a COVID-disrupted season but their defence the following season was far from the bar they set themselves the year before. In March of that season they sat 8th with 43 points, seizing any hope of retaining the title before winning eight of their final 10 league matches to secure Champions League football again by finishing 3rd.
However, even they will know they will have a tough task on their hands with who will be able competing in the title race. The Reds are the favourites at 15/8 but the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City are priced to be competing for the title too.
The Gunners, under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, seem forever stuck as runners-up based on the last few season's performances with pivotal moments in the season going against them. The Spaniard boss is a perfectionist though and will be looking to constantly improve his side as he looks to add to his FA Cup winners medal he got in his first season.
Over in Manchester and Pep Guardiola will be looking for significant improvements from his City side. The Citizens finished 3rd last season making just the second in eight season where they finished outside the top spot but his new look side will be looking to make an impact his season and frustrate the Reds' title defence.
Newcomers in Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders are exactly the sort of talent Guardiola lacked last season as they suffered with injuries - most notably Balon d'Or winner Rodri.
On the other hand, it will be interesting how City will do this season as they have the added headache of the Club World Cup to contend with this summer.

Thomas Partey is due to pen a two-year deal with Villarreal after seeing his Arsenal contract expire as the Ghanaian also prepares to appear in court after being hit with several charges Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is due to join Villarreal this summer after his contract at the Emirates expired, leaving him free to seek pastures new. The Athletic reported that the ex-Atletico man was in talks over staying at the Emirates but an agreement could not be reached on the terms of a deal despite the two parties trying until late in the day. Partey joined the club from Atletico for £45million back in 2020 and has been part of their rise to title challengers under Mikel Arteta. All in all he made 167 appearances for Arsenal, scoring nine goals, including one in a north London derby win. Shortly after the Ghanaian's Arsenal exit was confirmed he was charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. He denies all charges. He had been the subject of an investigation that began in February 2022. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday August 5. Arteta was asked for his reaction to the news of Partey's charges and said: "The club was very clear in its statement. There are a lot of legal matters that are very complicated so I cannot comment on any of that. Quizzed further on whether he was confident the club has followed the right process he replied: "100%." Arsenal have made several additions in the middle of the pitch with Martin Zubimendi among their key signings. The Spanish midfielder joins from Real Sociedad after being on the club's radar 12 months ago and will assist the likes of Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard. Christian Norgaard has also joined from Brentford with the Dane adding more depth to the team's midfield options. Enzo Maresca makes shock U-turn and tries to block Chelsea transfer
Enzo Maresca has held fresh talks with Christopher Nkunku in a bid to convince the misfiring Chelsea forward to stay at Stamford Bridge. Nkunku was expected to be sold by Chelsea following another disappointing season at the Premier League club. Chelsea spent £52m to sign Nkunku from RB Leipzig in 2023 but the France international missed most of his first season in west London through injury. Nkunku was back fit last season but still endured a disappointing campaign, contributing just three goals in the Premier League. Chelsea fans have been hugely underwhelmed by Nkunku's form at the club considering he was named the Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2021-22 and was the league's top goalscorer before his arrival. Chelsea have bolstered Maresca's squad with several new signings this summer so the sale of Nkunku would give them a chance to make room for the new additions and raise some funds. However, according to L'Equipe, Maresca recently held talks with Nkunku and made it clear that he could still be part of his project at Stamford Bridge. Maresca appreciates Nkunku's profile and knows squad depth will be needed as Chelsea look to challenge Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City for the title while competing in Europe. Eddie Howe hopes Alexander Isak will return to training with Newcastle
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is hoping to see striker Alexander Isak back in training in the coming days. Isak, who has been the subject of interest from Liverpool, has missed the Magpies' pre-season tour of Asia amid speculation over his future. Newcastle are now returning home after their trip concluded with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham in Seoul on Sunday and Howe hopes the Sweden international will report back as normal. Howe told The Chronicle after the game: 'Of course I'd like him to but whether or not he will, I don't know at this moment in time. 'Other people have been dealing with that situation back at home.' Sweden international Isak did not travel with the squad due to a thigh injury but the player reportedly wants to explore the possibility of a move. Newcastle rejected an offer of £110million from Liverpool for the 25-year-old, who has three years remaining on his contract and is valued by the club at £150million. Isak has trained with former club Real Sociedad while Newcastle have been away but is now thought to be returning to the UK. Newcastle, meanwhile, are understood to have had a bid worth up to £69.7million for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko rejected by the German club. Slovenia international Sesko has also been linked with Manchester United.
