Line of Duty star Martin Compston has been busy in his acting career, with the Scot having just signed up for a gripping new thriller airing on Paramount+.
A "gripping" series which features Line of Duty star Martin Compston is now available to stream for free. The Ice Cream Girls first aired on ITV back in 2013.

The Ice Cream Girls, based on Dorothy Koomson's novel, features Scots actor Martin Compston alongside Dune Prophecy's Jodhi May. It follows two former pals reunited 17 years after being accused of murdering their teacher (Compston) as teens.

The mini-series was flooded with praise from audiences when it first aired, with one viewer on IMDb describing it as "a terrific mystery", adding: "You will be entertained and gripped until the surprising conclusion."

All three episodes of the miniseries are now available on ITVX according to Digital Spy, meaning viewers in the UK can stream the show for free with ads.
The 41-year-old has been busy as of late in his career, having just signed up for a gripping new thriller Revenge Club, brought by Paramount+.

Based on the upcoming novel by J.D. Pennington The Othello Club, the series follows six heartbroken strangers who are brought together by a divorce support group.
However in a twist of events, the six quickly utilised their therapy sessions into the opportunity for revenge against those who have wronged them in the past by forming a pact which will change their lives.
The series synopsis reads: "What begins as a cathartic outlet quickly spirals into something far more dangerous, and as the group's acts of revenge escalate from mischievous pranks to deadly 'accidents,' the line between justice and murder begins to blur."

Alongside Compston the series will also star Slow Horses Aimée-Ffion Edwards, Barbie 's Sharon Rooney, The Wheel of Time 's Meera Syal, Shetland actor Douglas Henshall and Sex Education 's Chaneil Kular.
Meanwhile, just a few short months ago Martin Compston provided an exciting update for Line of Duty fans, with the popular show reportedly returning soon to screens for a seventh series.

Despite many fans getting their hopes up, it might not be the update they were looking for. The Scottish acting star hinted that although its return is imminent, new episodes are "a way off".
The BBC police drama had people across the country gripped during its six seasons between 2012 and 2021. Rumours of a follow-up in the hit show have been swirling in recent months, with Compston pictured catching up with his beloved co-stars Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure this year, as we reported previously.
In a recent interview with The Sun, the Scots star, who plays Steve Arnott, was optimistic about the series returning in the future, though he did concede that it may take a while, given the schedules of his co-stars.

"We're always talking about possibilities and schedules and whatnot," he said. "Everybody's got stuff going on at the minute, so I think anything, unfortunately, would be a way off.
"You know, the day people stop asking about the show will be a sad day, so I'm delighted that people are still excited about it. We'd all love to work together again at some point. We still all meet up.
"I met with Jed [Mercurio, the show's creator], Adrian [Dunbar] and Vicky [McClure] in London before Christmas - we went out for dinner, to hear what everyone's up to," added Compston, who played the role of Steve in all six seasons.

Expert's BBQ cleaning hack only needs one common kitchen staple

Cleaning your barbecue grill has never been so easy thanks to his one hack shared by the Queen of Clean herself - and you just need this one kitchen staple ingredient Chefs are up on a sunny day in your garden with your friends and family during the summertime, which is what summer is all about - until it gets to the cleaning part. A cleaning expert has just revealed the ultimate life-saver hack that only needs a common kitchen ingredient. ‌ Over time, the barbecue accumulates a lot of dirt as the juices and the grease from the meats seep onto the racks. As they become hard over time, it makes it difficult to remove them. But instead of spending hours using a sponge and dish soap, trying to rub it off, this one hack might be the solution you've been looking for. ‌ ‌ ‌ Lynsey Crombie, also known as the Queen of Clean, shared her number one tip for when it's time to clean your barbecue grill, and all you need is an onion. How to clean your BBQ grill She captioned: "Heat the grill to a high temperature to loosen any stuck-on food and grime. Use an onion you have left over from your BBQ to save waste." Lynsey then told her followers to use a long-handled fork and rub the cut side of the onion over the boiling grill grates. Doing so will then help break down the residue using the onion's natural juices. She explained: "Onions have antibacterial properties that can help sanitise the grill, reducing the presence of harmful bacteria." ‌ Her fans flooded the comments section, thanking the Queen of Clean. Other fans also suggested alternative methods to remove the grease from the barbecue grill, ensuring it would be clean and ready for next time. One wrote: "Cleaning a grill is hard work. I'll be trying this next time,' with a second one adding: "This is genius." Another follower suggested: "I like to dip my onion in a bowl with some salt and oil. The salt acts like an abrasive and also seasons the grill. A hack learnt on holidays in Turkey, where BBQ is king!" With a staggering following count of 381k, Lynsey is also known for being a television personality. She gained fame appearing on Channel 4 's program, Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners. Following her stint, the cleaning expert has been sharing tips and tricks regularly on her social media platforms, as well as on ITV 's This Morning. Interestingly, Lynsey has a range of cleaning tools and has also published four books, with her most recent one being The 15 Minute Clean.

Strictly Come Dancing star 'signs up to I'm A Celebrity All Stars' as ITV prepare to jet celebrities to South Africa for series two

Seann Walsh is reportedly gearing up to go back on I'm A Me Out Of Here! All Stars version. The comedian, 39, hit headlines during his 2018 stint in Strictly Come Dancing when he was caught kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones on his then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries' birthday. Seann originally jetted off to Australia for the ITV show in 2022 in the hope of 'redeeming himself' following the Strictly scandal four years prior. And during his time in the jungle Seann was popular with his campmates and viewers finishing in a respectable fifth place. Now the TV star is reportedly in advance talks with ITV about signing on the dotted line for the second series of the All Stars spin-off, which is due to be filmed in South Africa this year. A TV insider has told The Sun: 'When he went into the jungle in 2022 he very much did it in the hope of redeeming himself in the eyes of the viewing public. 'Which was no mean feat given he'd been branded an aggressive gaslighter as a result of his fling with Katya and his treatment of his girlfriend. 'Yet he managed to emerge as one of the more popular campmates and actually finished in a respectable fifth place in the contest. 'Part of the reason why he came across comparatively well was because he went into I'm A Celebrity with an even bigger love rat. 'His entry into the camp was alongside former Health Secretary Matt Hancock who was at the centre of an exclusive in The Sun revealing he had had an affair with a political adviser Gina Coladangelo in 2021.' MailOnline has contacted I'm A Celebrity and Seann's representatives for comment. The first All Stars series of the show aired in 2023, and brought back former campmates Myleene Klass, who finished in first place, as well as Helen Flanagan, Jordan Banjo, Shaun Ryder, Phil Tufnell and Carol Vorderman. It comes after Seann welcomed his second child, a son Casper with partner Grace Adderley earlier this year after keeping his partner's pregnancy a secret. Revealing the shock baby arrival, he posted a picture on his Instagram story of his daughter Wylda, two, who he shares with Grace. Alongside the picture of the little one with what looks like yoghurt on her head, he quipped: 'My first five minutes being left alone with Wylda and our newborn Casper. S*** just got real.' He then posted another picture, this time holding baby Casper, with Wylda sat in a high chair as the family ate lunch on a bench outside. Seann jokingly wrote: 'Gonna need a bigger boat'. Their baby news no doubt came as a surprise to fans as Seann and Grace never shared the news they were expecting. Seann first became a father in February 2023 after the couple welcomed daughter Wylda, and shared the happy news to Instagram. Taking to his stories, he shared a clip of himself as he sat in the hospital after the birth, saying: 'Grace has had our baby and I'm sat here in the very relaxing postnatal department, and the staff have been great. 'The nurses have been coming up to me all morning and congratulating me.' He then shared a post, which read: 'Oh btw. I passed out during the birth. Of course I did. The nurse's response... "Men." Fair.' The former Strictly Come Dancing revealed in October 2022 that he and his dance teacher girlfriend were having a baby. Speaking to a friend during an Instagram Live session at the time, Seann told a friend: 'I'm having a child.' Seann was then asked by the friend: 'So you're gonna be a dad?', before replying 'yeah' - with the unnamed man responding: 'That's worrying.' The funnyman then told his followers: 'Unbelievable. Everyone else has been really nice, that's the worst response yet.' Seann and Grace have been dating since 2019, but largely keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
