Keane and Babouche looking to turn on the style in Commonwealth Cup

The Group One-winning daughter of Kodiac has been a standout performer for the duo of late and is part of a strong hand for her owners, who also have Andrew Balding's Greenham hero Jonquil dropping back in distance following his fine second in the Poule d'Essai des Poulains.
Barry Mahon, Juddmonte's European racing manager, said: 'Babouche is in good form and won the trial for this race in Ireland in good style. We would be hopeful of a good run, but we wouldn't be fussy which one won.
'I think it would have been tough for Colin to get off Babouche having ridden her in all her starts and his association with Ger, but both horses are in good form and ready to run well.'
On Jonquil, who will be ridden by Christophe Soumillon, Mahon added: 'Dropping back to six furlongs is a bit of an unknown, but he showed a lot of speed when winning the Greenham at Newbury and also showed plenty of speed in France and hit the front a furlong down. Oisin (Murphy) and Andrew both felt it was a good option for him.'
Babouche got the better of Aidan O'Brien's Whistlejacket in the Lacken Stakes last time, with the Ballydoyle runner fourth in the Norfolk Stakes at this meeting last year before winning the Prix Morny at two.
Meanwhile, another colt dropping back in distance after an honourable third in Classic action is Charlie Appleby's Middle Park and Dewhurst champion Shadow Of Light, who lost nothing when chasing home Ruling Court and Field Of Gold at Newmarket.
Speaking on the Godolphin website, Appleby said: 'Shadow Of Light is in great order, and I'm pleased with the draw (stall 19).
'He ran a great race in the 2000 Guineas and we are confident that the drop back to six furlongs is going to suit. I can't give any negatives and I'm hopeful he is the one to beat.'

Mick Appleby's Big Mojo won the Pavilion Stakes over course and distance in April and after no luck in running in the Sandy Lane at Haydock bids to give his connections another magical moment at the summer showpiece, as Hollie Doyle takes over the steering from husband Tom Marquand.
'He's in good order and hopefully he has a decent chance,' said Appleby.
'It's a shame Tom (Marquand) can't ride him, but Hollie isn't a bad substitute – hopefully Tom has given her the lowdown.
'He had no luck in running at Haydock last time and I think with a clear run he could have gone close. He just got stuck behind a wall of horses with nowhere to go.
'He won well at Ascot earlier in the year and is drawn in the middle which is nice as it should be good to go either way. Fingers crossed he can run really well.'
International interest is provided by Jose Francisco D'Angelo's prolific US winner Shisospicy, who will be the mount of the aforementioned Murphy, while Francis-Henri Graffard's Rayevka was also supplemented along with the American challenger after impressing at Chantilly earlier this month.
'It's a very tough race and a big field and a bit of a cavalry charge, but she's a three-year-old sprinting filly and if we'd waited we were going to have to run in a Group Three against older horses,' said Nemone Routh, racing manager for owners the Aga Khan Studs.
'She won a Listed race well last time and this was her last opportunity to run in a Group race against her own age group. It is a big ask and we'd be really chuffed if she was to run into a place.
'She's in good form, sprinting is her game and she is a top of the ground horse.'

John Souttar insists Rangers have belief they can turn Club Brugge tie around

Rangers defender John Souttar believes the club's recent form in Europe means they can travel to Bruges knowing they can rescue their Champions League hopes. A 3-1 first leg to Club Brugge at Ibrox means the play-off is very much in the hands of the Belgians, and Rangers would need victory by two goals even to force extra time in the tie. That's a tough task against a side who reached the last 16 of the Champions League last year. Souttar admits Rangers' first half showing on Tuesday, where they lost three goals in the first 20 minutes, was unacceptable but says they can take heart from a better performance after the break and that the tie is certainly not over. 'There is the belief,' the defender said. 'We have had big results in Europe away from home in the last few years so there is that belief but there is no point in saying it, we have to show it next week.' Reflecting on that dismal start to a huge game, Souttar said they had been stunned by early mistakes. Nasser Djiga made the wrong call to let Romeo Vermant run through on goal and lift a cool finish over a stranded Jack Butland after just three minutes and things went from bad to worse when Jorner Spillers scored after Christos Tzolis' corner. Brandon Mechele scored the third goal of an explosive start when he fired in a tremendous shot from outside the box after just twenty minutes. Souttar believes the reaction was good after the break but that the damage had been done. 'In the first half, I think we've actually shot ourselves in the foot,' the Scotland international said. 'How we started, when you give away goals that we did. I mean it makes any game difficult, but especially a game like that when there's so much at stake and when you're playing a team of that quality. 'Second-half, we were a bit better, obviously made them a bit more uncomfortable, but first half the damage was done 'I think you can plan for anything, but you can't plan for losing two goals like that. Especially on an occasion like that. It was up to us to to react and we did a bit second-half, but we got the goal back. 'We've got to go there next week and give everything and see what happens.' Rangers were booed off at half-time, and Souttar said that the early setbacks has robbed the side of the noisy backing that can be a huge positive on big nights at Ibrox. 'When we have had good European nights, Ibrox is a place where opposition teams don't feel comfortable and I think we gave them that comfort. 'So if you give teams that comfort, it is a lot easier for them to play out from the back and take that pass, that risk, be more relaxed, and we give them that luxury. 'And it's important when you have European games here that we get the crowd on our side, we make them uncomfortable, that is one of our biggest assets. 'So you see what happens when we don't do that.' Souttar said: "I think it's not fair for one person to take the flak, I think we all have to take it. "It's not just the manager, I think we are all due it. "Everyone at this club who wants to play here has to understand that when things are not going well and demands are not met, then you are going to take flak, you need to accept that. "In the first half on Tuesday we actually shot ourselves in the foot with how we started. "When you give away the goals we did, that makes any game difficult. "Especially a game like that when there is so much at stake and we are playing against a team of that quality. "In the second half we were a bit better and made them a bit more uncomfortable, but the damage was done before that." Gers travel to Belgium next Wednesday with it all to do, but Souttar revealed that he hasn't given up all hope of a turnaround. He continued: "We brought pressure on ourselves by conceding those two goals in the manner we did. Rangers Tribute Pub Vandalised in Violent Attack: Community Stands Strong "That makes everything harder so we have to go over there and be on the front foot. "We can't afford to give goals away the way we did. "We need to implement our game plan on them, instead of giving them the start we did. "There is still the belief because we have had big results away from home in Europe in the last few years. "But there is no point saying that, we need to go and show it." "Of course we have to cling on to [an improved second half], we have to cling on to something. "The way we played in the second half, we were on the front foot but obviously it's easier when you have nothing to lose. "We wanted to start like that, but when you lose two goals like that it naturally derails everything. 4 "We were a bit better in the second half and when we go over there next week we've got to play like that. "On Tuesday night, we gave them confidence and that made life so difficult. "We've had good European nights here and Ibrox has been a place where opposition teams don't feel comfortable, but we gave Brugge that comfort. "So when you give teams that comfort, it's a lot easier for them to play out from the back, take risks and be more relaxed, and we gifted them that luxury. "It's important when we have European games here that we get the crowd on our side and make the opposition uncomfortable. "That's our biggest asset and we just didn't do that." BBC to share football TV rights with YouTuber Mark Goldbridge

Mark Goldbridge has become the first 'content creator' to secure live rights to a major European league after his YouTube channel secured 20 Bundesliga matches this season. Manchester United fan Goldbridge, whose real name is Brent Di Cesare, is best known for his impassioned 'watch-alongs' of the club's matches over the past decade. In a landmark deal, his That's Football (1.38 million subscribers) has joined Gary Neville's The Overlap YouTube channel (1.5m) in securing a share of free-to-air Friday night Bundesliga games, along with the BBC, starting with champions Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig this week. ' That's Football will stream 20 live Bundesliga matches on Friday nights as well as creating 34 weekly shows in 25/26 – the first creator channel with official league rights,' the channel posted to its official X account. 'A landmark deal putting That's Football alongside Sky, BBC & Amazon in the Bundesliga UK strategy.' Goldbridge also wrote: 'Thanks to the community for helping us build this. We keep moving.' Live Bundesliga rights were previously held by Sky Sports, which has retained those to Saturday 5.30pm fixtures. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime will now show at least two Sunday matches each week on a pay-per-view basis at £2.49 per game. Confirming its own deal, The Overlap – which is co-hosted by Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane and Ian Wright – posted to its X account: 'Friday Nights = Bundesliga. 'Every Friday night game, all season, live & free on The Overlap. 'UK & Ireland. 'Starts This Friday: @FCBayernEN vs @RBLeipzig_EN 'Bis bald!!' BBC director of sport Alex Kay-Jelski said: 'To be able to include Bundesliga matches within our live football offering is phenomenal, especially Bayern Munich's opening game featuring England's captain Harry Kane.'
