Boxing On Netflix: Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Set For Nov. 14
Jake Paul will battle one of boxing's biggest stars — Gervonta "Tank" Davis — in a fight that will take place on Friday, November 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and stream live globally on Netflix. The contracted weight for the bout has yet to be confirmed. "We're still figuring that out," said Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, which will promote the bout. No matter the weight agreement, the event will undoubtedly get billed as a big man (Paul) vs. a little man (Davis). Paul, who's 6-foot-1, weighed in at 199.4 pounds for his most recent fight, a decision win against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June. Davis, the WBC lightweight champion, stands 5-foot-5 and came in at 133.8 pounds when he drew with Lamont Roach Jr. in March. "Jake will definitely have to come down below his 200-pound weight that he's been fighting at. I can tell you that we're going to have a fight that will have a definitive outcome, whether by way of knockout or decision," Bidarian said. Bidarian also confirmed that the match will not be an exhibition, as some outlets have reported it would be. Paul targeted a fight with Davis after talks for a heavyweight bout with former unified champion Anthony Joshua collapsed. "I think it's just a matter of hitting 'go,'" said Bidarian about the ongoing discussions for Paul-Joshua in 2026. "Jake is looking at it like he wants to show the world that he's going to fight David and then he plans to take on Goliath." Negotiations between both Paul and Davis stretched on for most of 2025, and the fight only materialized after the Davis-Roach rematch set for August fell apart. Paul and Davis has been engaged in a social-media war for several years, with Paul firing off the latest salvo with a statement to ESPN. "Gervonta is an angry little elf who has been disrespecting my name for too long," Paul said. 'His nickname might be Tank, but I'm an FPV drone and I'm about to disable his ass. ' Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) is one of boxing's biggest draws. His April 2023 fight with Ryan Garcia at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas scored big numbers with a reported $1.2 million PPV buys and a gate of $22.8 million, fifth-highest gate in U.S. boxing history. Davis has dealt with legal issues over the summer with a misdemeanor battery charge from an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend on Father's Day. Charges were recently dropped. Now Davis will fight arguably the most marketable brand in the sport — a YouTuber-turned-boxer in Paul. "This is a fight between the biggest fighters in the world for Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences," said Bidarian.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's Divorce Money Drama, Explained
Though they finalized their divorce in 2022, Kristin Cavallari and her ex, Jay Cutler, are in the thick of some messy drama—and it involves money. The former couple (who share three children together) quietly called it quits in 2020 after seven years of marriage. At the time, Kristin announced their breakup with an Instagram post, writing, 'We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.' Things seemed pretty amicable for a while, with Kristin even referring to Jay as 'the best' in a Father's Day tribute following their split (which she has since deleted). But things took a turn recently when The Hills alum alleged she had 'never gotten a penny' from her ex-husband in the aftermath of their split. Now, Jay is firing back at the claim and external sources are getting involved. It's a lot, so here's a breakdown of the recent developments in Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's divorce money drama. During the June 18 episode of Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, Kristin finally addressed speculation surrounding the former NFL quarterback's involvement in her jewelry brand, Uncommon James. According to her: He had nothing to do with the brand or its success. 'Our revenue is close to $50 million a year,' she said during the episode, per People, 'but because I was obviously a WAG—athletes' wives and girlfriends, if you're not familiar—people love to say that everything I have in my life is because of my ex-husband, and that my ex-husband funded Uncommon James.' She went on to add that no only did Jay not fund her company—he'd never given her any money, period. 'But I am, to this day, 100 percent owner, and I've never taken any outside funding,' she continued. 'I have never gotten a penny from my ex-husband. I didn't get any money from our divorce, so let's just clear that up.' Oh, and she doubled down on those claims on the June 24 episode of her Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast, reiterating, 'Everyone thinks that my ex-husband gave me money. I didn't get any money.' During the August 15 episode of the Take It Outside podcast, the former Chicago Bears player addressed Kristin's claims that she got no money in their divorce. According to him: It was 'reckless' of her to discuss the terms of their divorce so publicly, especially since her claims were 'completely false.' 'In the state of Tennessee, if we would have went to the judge and been like, 'Hey, he's going to keep every single dollar over the past seven years and you're going to get nothing,' there's not a judge in the state of Tennessee that would have signed that,' he said. 'They would be like, 'No, this isn't—this isn't right. This isn't legal. Not happening.' So, there's that.' He continued, 'She has a lawyer. I have a lawyer. Is her lawyer really going to be like, 'Fine, you get zero dollars. He gets to keep all the money that was made over the seven years'? Absolutely not.' And he wasn't done there! 'I think it's borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage that each side got,' he added. 'It's insanity. It's completely false, completely untrue... I'm not going to get into those exact numbers, but I can guarantee you it's definitely not zero dollars.' Yep. An insider 'close to the former couple's relationship' gave People some insight into everything. They told the outlet that Jay's outburst is 'a standard gaslighting tactic from a known narcissist.' Per the source: 'His answer was manipulated into something completely different than what Kristin was initially saying.' Kristin has yet to respond to Jay's podcast rant, but you better believe we're waiting for her rebuttal.
