Watch: Tim David, Liam Livingstone Push Young RCB Star Away From Virat Kohli
In the viral video, Team RCB was seen posing for a photograph before the game with Kohli sitting in the center. Chikhara used the opportunity and stood behind the star batter. However, his teammates Tim David and Liam Livingstone hilariously seized the moment from him.
Before the picture got clicked, David pushed Chikara away from Kohli. As he tried to come back, Livingstone pushed him away again and the young batter had to settle in the corner for the photograph.

Talking about the Qualifier 1, put to bat first, the Kings lost early wickets and only managed to post 101 runs on the board, with 35 balls still remaining. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on the other hand, chased the total in just 10 overs, while giving away only two wickets and securing a place in the IPL 2025 final.
"I think we were clear in our plans, how we have to bowl. I think the fast bowlers used the surface really well. The way Suyash chipped in, the way he bowled his lines and lengths, that was really good. As a captain I am clear about his bowling. He has to target the stumps, that's his strength," said RCB skipper Rajat Patidar after the victory.
"I always thank RCB fans, not only in Chinnaswamy, but wherever we go we feel it's our home ground. We love you, so keep supporting us. One more game and let's celebrate together," he added.

Atalanta footballer Ademola Lookman announces transfer request in lengthy Instagram post: ‘After many months of broken promises…'
Footballers wanting to move out of their current clubs is a pretty frequent event in the sport. Most times though, the affairs of a transfer happen behind the scenes. Even if the exit is not amicable, clubs and players tend to deal with transfers privately. But Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has handed the club a formal transfer request, and explained how the Italian club has wronged him in a lengthy – and pretty scathing – Instagram post. The English-born Nigerian forward alleged that the club's treatment towards him was poor, as 'both a human being and as a professional footballer.' 'Despite now receiving an offer in alignment to what I believe had been discussed sadly the club are blocking the opportunity for reasons I do not understand,' Lookman said in his post. 'As a result and after many months of broken promises and what I feel has been poor treatment towards me as both a human being and as a professional footballer, sadly I feel I have no choice but to speak out for what I believe is right and I feel that enough is enough. I can confirm I have now handed in a formal transfer request.' Lookman's career has been a rollercoaster but since moving to Atalanta, he had seen his fortunes flourish. In December 2024, he won the African Player of the Year award. A post shared by Ademola Lookman (M.O.N) (@molalookman) 'Over the past three years at Atalanta, I've given absolutely everything. Not just as a footballer, but as a person. I've always worn the shirt with pride and tried to represent this club and the city of Bergamo with heart, passion and dedication. I came here with the hope of helping this special club grow and together, we've created memories that will stay with me forever. Winning the Europa League and standing shoulder to shoulder with my teammates that night in Dublin celebrating with our fans was one of the proudest moments of my career so far. It still gives me goosebumps thinking about it,' he started the post. 'Atalanta, and especially its supporters, have become a part of me. This place has felt like home from the moment I arrived, and I've always tried to repay that love – even in moments where things haven't been easy behind the scenes. That's what makes writing this so hard. I have loved every moment but feel that now, after three wonderful years in Bergamo, it is the right time to move on and experience a new adventure. There have been numerous clubs approach Atalanta in the past and I have previously always stayed loyal. However, myself and the ownership of the club have been in agreement that now is the right time and the club were clear with me that if a fair offer came in they would allow me to move.' Lookman, born to Nigerian parents in London, started off playing for Charlton Athletic. His first big move was to Everton. And then in 2019, swtiched to RB Leipzig in Germany. However, he struggled there and was sent out on loan back to England. It was at Atalanta where he flourished. Lookman also changed national allegiance in 2021 to play for Nigeria after starting out for England at the Under-20 level. 'Even throughout the extremely difficult moments I've endured, many of which have remained private and confidential, I have always tried to put the club, the fans and the team first and hoped it would not get to this, but I unfortunately feel there is now little choice.' 'To the fans – the heartbeat of this club – I want to say this: I'm truly sorry it's come to this. I hope you can understand this incredibly difficult situation. It's simply about standing up for what I believe is fair and right. The support you have always given me has been incredible and the bond we have created together is special. I hope to work together with the club to find an amicable solution for all parties as soon as possible,' he concluded.

How Liverpool stand between Arsenal and Eze Arsenal's pursuit of Eze, however, faces a roadblock in the form of Liverpool, who had won the Premier League for the second time in Arne Slot's maiden season in charge earlier this year. The Reds aren't eyeing Eze but his teammate Marc Guehi, who's part of the team's defence as a centre-back. Liverpool themselves have had to deal with rejection recently, with , who had finished as the second-highest goal-scorer last year behind Mohamed Salah. While it was initially believed to have expired on Friday, 1 August, a report on Football365 states that Eze's £68million release clause in fact concludes on 15 August – the day defending champions Liverpool face Bournemouth in the opening game of the 2025-26 season. "Still Better Than Half The...": Dale Steyn's Massive Praise For AB De Villiers After WCL Heroics
Former South African pacer Dale Steyn hailed AB de Villiers for his fine performances in the recently concluded World Championship of Legends (WCL), saying that the 41-year-old is "better than half the internationals at the IPL". De Villiers lit up the UK crowd with his performances in the WCL, which concluded with South Africa Champions lifting the title after beating Pakistan Champions in the finals on Saturday. During the title clash, De Villiers made an unbeaten 120* in 60 balls, with 12 fours and seven sixes, helping his team chase down 196 with nine wickets in hand. The 'Mr 360' was imperious in the tournament, top-scoring with 429 runs in six innings at an average of 143.00, with a strike rate of 220, with three centuries and a fifty. Speaking on his X, Steyn said, "Unpopular/Popular opinion. AB is still better than half the internationals at IPL. Maybe even more." Unpopular/Popular opinion. Ab is still better than half the internationals at IPL. Maybe even more. — Dale Steyn (@DaleSteyn62) August 3, 2025 This year has been incredible for AB, not only did he make his return to the cricket field after three years and entertained the masses, but he also saw Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and South Africa lift their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) and ICC World Test Championship (WTC) titles respectively, as a spectator in the stadium. De Villiers last played competitive cricket in the IPL 2021 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), scoring 313 runs in 14 matches with two fifties and a best score of 76*. Back in 2023, the right-hander described how he had played for the last two years with a detached retina. Later on, De Villiers described an incident involving his son, which injured his right eye. "I did speak about it casually, I was hoping it would not become a headline. I will explain myself again. It was an accident a few years back, my eldest son did a backflip, and I was busy with my middle son John. He kicked me with his heel on my right eye. I did not think much of it at that time. I fell on the carpet in shock, I was scared to take my hands away from my eyes, I thought my eye was out, literally. When I took my hands away, I could still see. It was fine," said De Villiers on his YouTube channel. "Later on in the IPL, the last two or three seasons of my career, I realised I had a bit of blurry vision in my right eye. I was testing it on the scoreboard. I was once caught on camera, once, and commentators mentioned that 'he was getting his eye in'. Meanwhile, I wondered why this eye was blurry and the other one was fine. I was putting eye drops in it. When my doctor got the surgery done he asked me how in the world did you play cricket like this? Luckily, my left eye did a decent job for the last two years of my career, My left eye is the dominant eye luckily, but the right eye struggled for the last few years," he added. Evidence of his superhuman abilities to play cricket despite such a big issue, De Villiers scored 1,209 runs in 43 matches and 41 innings during his last three IPL seasons, at an average of 40.3, with 12 fifties to his name. In 340 T20s, he has made 9,424 runs at an average of 37.24 at a strike rate of over 150, with four tons and 69 fifties. His best score is 133*. Throughout his IPL career, representing Delhi Capitals (DC) from 2008-2010 and RCB, scoring 5,162 runs in 184 matches at an average of 39.71, with three centuries and 40 fifties to his name. He is the eighth-highest run-getter of all time in IPL history. De Villiers retired from international cricket in 2018, scoring 19,864 runs in 415 international appearances at an average of 48.33, with 47 centuries and 108 fifties, and his best score being 278*. He is Proteas' second-highest run-getter of all time.
