Jimin's Muse turns one - Global heartfelt celebrations make youth everywhere smile
If you grew up in Delhi or Bangalore, there's a good chance you've seen birthday posters for your favorite Bollywood star plastered across the city or trended hashtags for an upcoming release.
Well, BTS Jimin's fans took this vibe and cranked it up to eleven for the anniversary of his 'Muse' album-turning love for their idol into a worldwide celebration rooted in kindness, community, and creativity.
Indian youth and Korean youth may live thousands of kilometers apart, but the way they rally for music, art, and social good? Pretty much the same pulse.
From Space to Street - When Celebrations Cross Borders
Picture this: A fan group in Seoul times their celebration with a

shuttle passing above Yongsan, making Jimin's anniversary almost cosmic. Right outside Jimin's company, fans booked taxi stand ads for a whole month-even auto-rickshaw drivers in India would appreciate that level of dedication!
Over in Osaka, Japanese fans took over the flashy billboards at Tonbori Station, blasting the title track for passersby. Meanwhile, across Latin America, fans in Buenos Aires and Lima made sure city crowds couldn't miss Jimin's big day, lighting up major public screens with his music and cheerful images. Imagine your colony's local tea shop playing K-pop instead of Bollywood hits for a day-now that's a vibe!
Kindness That Travels - From Charity to Community
Jimin's fandom (known as ARMY) didn't just stop at streaming and posting online.
South Korean fans symbolically "adopted" a blue whale via WWF to raise awareness for endangered species. Russian fans donated to the Tiger House charity to help big cats, while Colombian fans helped provide care kits for the elderly. Indian youth who love to pull school charity drives or raise funds for a local cause will totally relate-music fans everywhere want to do a little good along with having fun.
And, as expected, hashtags like 'Jimin-Muse-1stAnniversary' and '1YearWithMuse' went viral, proving once again that music can unite hearts whether you're in Mumbai, Busan, or Bogota.
About Jimin's 'Muse'
Jimin's 'Muse' is his debut solo album, celebrated for its heartfelt lyrics, raw emotions, and a sound that is both contemporary and personal. The album's tracks like 'Who' and 'Alone' showcase his growth as an artist beyond BTS. For many fans, 'Muse' is more than just music-it's a reflection of finding comfort and inspiration during tough times.

Dressed In Red And Gold Elegance, Shalini Passi Visits Tirupati On Her Birthday
On her 49th birthday, Shalini Passi visited the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Tirumala. She wore a red and gold saree for the occasion. Shalini Passi welcomed her 49th year with a blend of style and spirituality, choosing to celebrate her birthday in the sacred hills of Tirumala. The Delhi-based art patron offered a glimpse into her day through a serene photodump from her visit to the Tirupati Balaji Temple. The images captured moments of quiet devotion, glowing aartis, and temple grounds soaked in divine energy. Sharing the pictures, Shalini Passi wrote, 'Taking blessings from Tirupati Balaji on my birthday, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Tirumala Hills." Take a look at the pictures here. For the special occasion, Shalini turned to traditional glamour with a deeply symbolic palette of red and gold. She opted for a saree from Ekaya. Rich in crimson hues, the saree was woven with a gleaming golden border and delicate crane and dove motifs. The matching blouse elevated the coordinated ensemble with quiet luxury. To complete the look, she carried a pink potli bag embellished with golden details and accessorised with a statement gold choker and heavy jhumkas. Her hair, styled in her signature ponytail, balanced structure with softness. Tirupati Balaji Temple isn't just a destination, it's a recurring spiritual anchor in Shalini's life. Located in Andhra Pradesh's Tirumala hills, the temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This wasn't her first visit. She last took part in the temple's sacred ritual of offering hair in 2018. She's since avoided intensive styling or chemical treatments, respecting the spiritual significance tied to her hair journey. While many now recognise her from Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Shalini Passi is a well-established name in India's art and design circles. Based in Delhi, she has long championed contemporary Indian art and is often seen at the intersection of fashion and philanthropy. Married to businessman Sanjay Passi since the late 1990s, she continues to bridge the worlds of heritage, glamour, and creativity. view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Watch: Gill Smiles As Crawley Wastes Time Again, Then Pulls Off Masterstroke
Last Updated: Gill and Crawley were seen smiling awkwardly after the latter pulled out of his stance at the Oval. But only one was smiling three balls later, thanks to an Indian masterstroke. There were awkward smiles all around when Zak Crawley pulled out of his batting stance before the second ball in the final over, bowled by Mohammed Siraj, at the Oval on Saturday (August 3). Cameras panned to Indian captain Shubman Gill — who had infamously told Crawley and his partner, Ben Duckett, to 'grow some ******* balls' two Tests ago for the same thing — and he was seen sheepishly smiling, too, perhaps controlling a full-blown laughter. Watch it here: Crawley tried an old trick, Captain Gill, however, answered with a smile 😊 #SonySportsNetwork #ENGvIND #NayaIndia #DhaakadIndia #TeamIndia #ExtraaaInnings — Sony Sports Network (@SonySportsNetwk) August 2, 2025 On Day 3 at Lord's, Crawley pulled out against Jasprit Bumrah twice and then went down with a finger injury. India and Gill felt he was trying to tick the clock to make sure Bumrah's was the last over of the day. The Indian skipper engaged in a lot of finger-pointing and sarcastic applause at Crawley, who eventually survived. It turned into a huge controversy, embroiling beyond the incident as Gill accused the England team of being 90 seconds late to the crease while the Englishman denied it. The after-effects of it have been felt in the remaining two Tests, leading to a lot of needle and tensions between the two teams. At the Oval, it was completely different. Before the fifth ball, Gill and Siraj came up with a smart, if obvious ploy. They asked the square leg fielder to go to the boundary ropes, a clear indication that the bowler was going to try for a bouncer to make Crawley pull one into his hands. However, Siraj bluffed him, sneaking in a searing in-swinging yorker. Crawley's feet didn't move and the ball went under his bat to clatter the timber. He got out for 14 (36), leaving England at 50/1 and giving the visitors a big boost going into the fourth (and likely the final) day of the series. Watch the wicket here: Crawley didn't want another over; Siraj made sure of it 🤷♂️ #SonySportsNetwork #ENGvIND #NayaIndia #DhaakadIndia #TeamIndia #ExtraaaInnings | @mdsirajofficial — Sony Sports Network (@SonySportsNetwk) August 2, 2025 England still need 328 runs to win the Test. Though the pitch is not the most difficult to bat on, England are without Ben Stokes and a batter short after Chris Woakes picked up an injury during the game. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
