Indiana Fever reveal Caitlin Clark injury status vs Dallas Wings
Coming off the heels of a 85-75 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks at home, the Indiana Fever will once again be without their superstar point guard on Friday against the Dallas Wings.
The Fever announced on Friday that Caitlin Clark will miss her second game in a row with a left groin injury.

While the history of the injury is unknown, many fans think Clark suffered it in the final minute of the Fever's win over the Storm on Tuesday. Clark dove for a loose ball and came up a little gimpy and limped off the court. And now she's missing her second game in a row with a groin injury.
For fans and the league, it's an unfortunate situation as the WNBA moved this game to the American Airlines Center to get more fans into the arena for the first Clark vs. Paige Bueckers matchup in the WNBA. Everyone will have to wait a little longer to see those two battle in the pros with Clark's injury. The Fever host the Wings on July 13.
It's a big game for the Fever, who fell back under .500 with Thursday's loss to the Sparks. It's their final game before the Commissioner's Cup championship game on July 1 against the Minnesota Lynx. The Wings have struggled this season, sitting at just 4-12 so far. The Fever will need big games from Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell to walk out of Dallas with a win and some confidence heading into the Commissioners Cup title game. Hopefully for the Fever, their fans and fans of basketball, Clark will be able to return to the court for that game.
