In a video* that recently surfaced online, the singer — whose real name is Abel Tesfaye — could be seen performing his hit song 'Out of Time' in front of concertgoers at the barrier. As in, not on the stage, directly in front of the crowd.
Suddenly, what looked like a thong was thrown from someone in the audience and landed right next to The Weeknd's face.
A post that has been viewed over 150,000 times drew attention to the clip on X, with the user writing: 'A woman threw her underwear at The Weeknd at his concert last night.' Meanwhile, several Reddit users didn't hold back as they shared their thoughts.
'That would be my reaction too...especially if it was used lol,' one user said. Someone else agreed, 'I would gag if I had panties thrown in my face. Just the thought of them being potentially used is nasty.'
