The Hrithik Roshan , Jr NTR, Kiara Advani movie did start on a grand note on day 1 and also kept the momentum on Independence day but the movie started seeing a drop from Saturday onwards. It still managed to make a decent number on Saturday, Sunday, but from Monday onwards the fall was huge. It saw a drop of around 73 percent on first Monday, as compared to the Sunday numbers. The Ayan Mukerji directorial had found itself amidst mixed reviews which may have led to the downfall of numbers. On Saturday, the film made Rs 33 crore of which the Hindi version made Rs 26 crore. There was a huge drop in the collections of the Telugu version of the film. While the Telugu version made Rs 22.75 crore on Day 1, the number dropped to Rs 12.5 crore on Day 2 and more down to 50 percent of that on day 3. On Sunday, the total collection of 'War 2' in all languages was Rs 31.3 crore which was a drop from the Saturday numbers. On Monday, it collected Rs 8.50 crore as a total in all languages. On Tuesday as well, it started on a slow note and made Rs 9 crore on Tuesday. This number on Tuesday, could be due to the discounted ticket rates in many theatres. ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu' OTT release: Pawan Kalyan's epic arrives with a new climax — when and where to watch

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs. Spirit, one of Pawan Kalyan's most awaited movies, released on July 24, 2025. Mounted on a massive budget with significant investments, the period drama carried high expectations. However, mixed reviews severely impacted its box office performance. While many moviegoers appreciated certain aspects of the film despite its shortcomings, the overall reception was underwhelming. Following its theatrical run, the film has now arrived on OTT. Hari Hara Veera Mallu streaming details Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs. Spirit, Pawan Kalyan's big-ticket period drama, premiered on Prime Video on August 20, 2025, after a disappointing theatrical outing. The film is available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. According to a Cinema Express report, Prime Video acquired the streaming rights for a staggering Rs 50 crore. The film's official X handle announced, 'A tale of rebellion, rage, and righteousness. The storm that started in theaters now takes over your screens.' Box office vs budget According to reports, the film was made on an extravagant budget of around Rs 300 crore. Despite this, it collected only Rs 116.82 crore worldwide, as per a Sacnilk report. Even after factoring in the OTT rights deal, the film failed to recover its total cost and was widely termed a box office disaster. OTT version features a new climax Pawan Kalyan plays the titular character Hari Hara Veera Mallu, an outlaw on a mission to free the Koh-i-Noor from Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, portrayed by Bobby Deol. While the theatrical version received criticism for its underwhelming visual effects and lack of polish in many sequences, the OTT cut introduces significant changes. In theaters, the film originally ended with Aurangzeb (Bobby Deol) declaring, 'A storm is coming.' This was after producer AM Rathnam trimmed the climactic battle between Veera Mallu and Aurangzeb during a cyclone. The OTT version, however, ends after the song 'Asura Hananam' and features a sequel announcement, removing the storm sequence entirely. This has resulted in the film now having three distinct endings across its edits. Viewers have also noted that the OTT version features improved VFX, making several scenes look more refined than they did on the big screen. Mahavatar Narsimha 4th Wednesday Hindi Box Office: Hombale's animated movie continues outpacing Coolie The Powerhouse

Mahavatar Narsimha, directed by Ashwin Kumar, continued wrecking the box office with the least drop of all Indian movies after 'Discount Tuesday'. The devotional animated movie added Rs 1.20 crore at the Hindi box office, taking its total closer to Rs 150 crore. The movie will cross the Rs 150 crore net Hindi mark on its 5th Friday, that is on the same day that War 2 also crosses Rs 150 crore at the Hindi box office. From here, it will be interesting to see if Mahavatar Narsimha can actually end up doing higher collections than War 2 in Hindi. The Day Wise Hindi Net India Collections Of Mahavatar Narsimha Are As Under Weeks/Days India Net Collections (Hindi) Week 1 Rs 29 crore Week 2 Rs 50 crore Week 3 Rs 48.50 crore 4th Friday Rs 5.50 crore 4th Saturday Rs 4.95 crore 4th Sunday Rs 5.95 crore 4th Monday Rs 1.50 crore 4th Tuesday Rs 1.75 crore 4th Wednesday Rs 1.20 crore Total Rs 148.35 crore in 27 days Weeks/Days Note: The collections exclude 3D handling charges Mahavatar Narsimha Heads For A Rs 300 Crore Plus Gross Worldwide Finish Mahavatar Narsimha has already crossed Rs 250 crore at the worldwide box office (all languages) and it will be target to end its run over Rs 300 crore. Seeing the trend, it should not be too hard. However, one can never absolutely be sure. Regardless, the job is done well and the upcoming movies from the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe are already among the most awaited movies in the coming years. Mahavatar Narsimha Has Shown That You Don't Need Big Actors For Your Film To Run The biggest takeaway is that these are all animated movies and don't have a star in them. The audience for the movie is purely coming on the basis of the film's content. There used to be a stigma around animated movies. But guess it is no longer there. Producers should take note and invest in making compelling animated movies. The box office will follow, and so will the audience love. Mahavatar Narsimha is going to end as one of the most profitable Indian movies of the year. The only movies with a greater profit so far are Chhaava and Saiyaara. The movie plays in theatres now.
