Maxene Magalona says her first tattoo was in honor of dad Francis M's first death anniversary
On Instagram Thursday, she posted a photo of the tattoo on her left wrist, which reads 'La fille à Papa" or daddy's girl in French.
"I chose this language because one of my Dad's nicknames was France and had it done by one of his first tattoo artists [Myke Sambajon] of [P&P Tattoo]," she wrote in the caption.
According to Maxene, she got this tattoo during a difficult point in her life.

The tattoo, per Maxene, reminds her that her dad is always with her in spirit.
In her post, she also shared a photo of her mom Pia Magalona's wrist tattoo and her dad's back tattoo.
