Panchayat 4 trailer: Manju Devi vs Kranti Devi brings fun and frustration to Phulera
The makers of 'Panchayat Season 4' released the trailer for the fourth season on Wednesday. Establishing the theme of the season in advance, the makers built the story around the Panchayat elections - the big war - between proxy candidates, Manju Devi and Kranti Devi.As the trailer shows, Abhishek - everyone's dear Sachiv ji - once again finds himself in the middle of the political drama in the village. How he navigates through the drama, what that eventually leads to, and how that changes his relationships with the people of the village - comprise the rest of the story.advertisementCreated by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, and written by Chandan Kumar, the series further promises a lot of action in the election setup. In one scene, a few people, possibly from the rival party, slap Jitendra Kumar's Sachiv ji, and 'break his teeth'. In another scene, we see the election rallies going on in full swing in the village. The trailer also shared a glimpse of the blooming romance between Sachiv ji and Rinki (played by Sanvikaa).
Produced by The Viral Fever, 'Panchayat Season 4' is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya. The rural comedy features an ensemble cast, almost all of whom appear in the trailer. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha, among others, play interesting and important roles.advertisementWith rally songs, lofty pledges, and lots of fanfare, the Phulera village turns into a buzzing battleground. As both camps race to outshine and out - scheme the other, the village transforms into a carnival of chaos.Neena, who plays Manju Devi in the series, said in a statement that 'Panchayat Season 4' shows the journey of her character from a dutiful wife to a leader ready to take the battle heads on.She said, "Across the seasons, it's been exciting to watch her journey from a hesitant pradhan to a confident voice in Phulera's affairs. With each chapter, 'Panchayat' adds depth not only to village life but to every character's evolution. Season 4 brings unexpected twists - making the narrative all the more compelling. The trailer offers a peek, but trust me - what lies ahead is fun, feisty, and full of surprises."For Jitendra, 'Panchayat 4' is the next phase to the absolute chaos and comedy that the show stands for. He said in a statement in the media, "This new season brings a fresh dose of humour, warmth, and chaos from Phulera. The trailer gives a fun peek into the new dynamics at play, and I'm truly looking forward to how audiences respond to the next phase of this beloved journey."'Panchayat Season 4' will premiere on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on June 24.Must Watch

The Traitors EXCLUSIVE: 'Apoorva Mukhija instigates fights,' Nikita Luther sides with Uorfi Javed, spits shocking facts
The Traitors has begun, and so has the drama! Apoorva Mukhija and Uorfi Javed's rivalry after the show has been making headlines. The two started off as friends, but an incident in the show changed their equation. Off-screen also the two popular personalities are not on good terms. Pinkvilla exclusively spoke to The Traitors contestant Nikita Luther and asked her opinion on their rivalry. Upon being asked, Nikita stated that Apoorva Mukhija is 'instigating' the argument with Uorfi. Nikita Luther talks about Uorfi Javed and Apoorva Mukhija's rivalry: Pinkvilla asked Nikita Luther, who is a part of The Traitors, whether Uorfi Javed and Apoorva Mukhija are on good terms off-screen. Replying to this, the prominent poker player said, "Their rivalry is pretty much real. I feel the person instigating is Apoorva." Nikita Luther further disclosed, "The stuff that happened off-camera, they haven't shown. Apoorva is one who has not had two positive words to say for anybody. In the entire show, she is nonstop taking potshots at all the contestants. She is just who she is. She is actually the one instigating. Uorfi is caught in the state of giving a response, but she is not the one initiating it." Nikita Luther on why Elnaaz Norouzi ousted her in first episode: When asked which contestant played a "dirty" game in The Traitors, Nikita claimed it was " Elnaaz Norouzi." Further, Luther was questioned about her shocking ousting from the first episode of The Traitors. Speaking about which, Nikita revealed how she was surprised when Elnaaz took her name during eviction as she thought Elnaaz didn't even know her name. She even mentioned there was no time to interact with anyone Sharing her thoughts on why Elnaaz evicted her, Nikita expressed, "What her motives were, I don't know. It could be insecurity. It could be just feeling intimidated that everyone else is on TV, and she is actually a poker player,r and she will have some more strategy in a game like this. She will be used to reading people or picking up on them. So it could be either being intimidated or being insecure. And the third reason could be that she might just feel safe." Nikita explained that Elnaaz must have chosen to be on the safer side by eliminating her as she is not from the entertainment industry. Luther said, "It could be survival also. I would say, bit of a mistake on her part to do that because, of course, I made the comeback, and I'm going to come back stronger." When asked which evicted contestants deserved to be on The Traitors, Nikita mentioned that Raj Kundra and Lakshmi had the potential to be on the show. The Traitors three episodes premiered on June 12 on Prime Video.

Did You Know Neena Gupta was once left in tears by a co-star? Panchayat 4 actress reveals ‘That person took off...'
Bollywood actress Neena Gupta is one of the most celebrated actresses in the industry. She has given some amazing performances despite being in supporting roles. Not just her acting, but she also grabs headlines for speaking her heart out and wearing what she feels like without making age a barrier. Now, the Panchayat 4 actress reflected on a moment that brought her to tears, recalling how a co-star lashed out at her over an inflated ego. In a recent interview with Mid-day, Neena Gupta recalled an incident and shared, 'These days, everyone's ego is so (inflated) that you have to think a hundred times before you say something to someone. They don't like it. I had a couple of such experiences (outside of the show). Once, I said something in a friendly manner to another actor. That person took off on me. I was in tears.' The actress shared that situations like these have made her hesitant to connect with both junior and senior colleagues. She recalled working with a senior actor who delivered strong performances but lacked a sense of mutual exchange on set. Still, she noted that there are a few people who trust her intentions when she offers guidance. Neena also talked about being unconventional and shared how one has to pay the price for it. However, she called it her 'priority'. She also mentioned that her clothing choices depend on her mood, one day she might opt for a saree, and the next, she could be in shorts. Neena Gupta further reflected on her choice of clothes and mentioned that she isn't hurting anyone with it. She also acknowledged that if her choice of outfits had impacted the roles she was offered, she might have reconsidered wearing them. However, she clarified that the work she received wasn't because of any bold statements or posts, but rather due to the success of Badhaai Ho in 2018. She emphasized that in the industry, it's a strong performance in a hit film that truly opens doors. Meanwhile, Neena Gupta is gearing up for the release of her most-awaited show Panchayat 4 which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 24. She will be playing the role of Manju Devi.
