Olly Murs on walking out of Glasgow gig earlier this year
Now, the 41-year-old reflected on the performance, which was part of his 15 Years of Hits tour, saying he was "really gutted" but his health came first.
Speaking on Heart Scotland's Breakfast show on Tuesday, August 12, Olly said: "It was one of the maddest moments of my life.
"I felt a bit weird that week, and I didn't feel a hundred per cent myself. Obviously, there is going to be a common theme here: I'm a bloke, and what we like to do is blame everyone else.
"So, I blame Maddie, my daughter, because it was the first time in the tour that I got a chance to go home, and I went home because I was missing her so much.
"I put her in my arms and I was like 'aw Maddie' and she just [imitates a sneeze] and I was like 'thank you for that'.
"I was at the show, and that moment for me was one of the toughest moments of my career.
"If I had continued singing, one, I would have damaged my voice, two, I would have felt awful for the fans, that they wouldn't have seen the true Olly Murs.
"Which, I think, particularly on this tour, it was the best tour I've ever done."

We previously reported that Murs was forced to cancel the show shortly after it started as he was struggling with his voice.
At the time, he told fans he had 'never done this in 15 years'.
The Troublemaker singer went on to explain what the most difficult part of walking out of the city venue was.
He added: "The hardest thing for me, though, is I was in the front row, and I look out and I'm trying to explain what's going on, and this Scottish guy is with his kids.
"He's a big geezer and he's looking at me, and at first, he was like 'he's having a joke.' Then it changed, and he's like, 'what is he doing?
"I've taken a day off work, I've paid all this money, do it, man.' I just looked at him and thought 'oh no' and I just went 'love you all, I've got to go.'
"It was one of those moments, and I completely understand that people paid their hard-earned money to come, and I really hope I can make it up to my Scottish fans because, genuinely, I love going to Scotland, I think it's the best."
"I'm just really gutted. Of all the places, Glasgow was the one that I didn't want to do it in. But unfortunately, my health came first."

Liam Gallagher 'misinformed' over comments about Oasis fans, says council leader
The leader of Edinburgh Council has said Liam Gallagher was misinformed over comments made by council officers about Oasis fans. The frontman made several references to the supposed jibes during the band's sold-out shows at Murrayfield Stadium. Prior to the gigs, it was reported that council bosses had described expectant crowds as 'rowdy', 'middle-aged men' who 'take up more room' and would drink to 'medium to high intoxication'. Liam Gallagher responded to the reports on stage on Tuesday, saying: '£3bn we've brought into this city over the past five days. And that's between you and us. Three billion f****** quid. 'You won't see f*** all, because they'll rob it and spread it among their posh ugly mates.' At Friday's gig, the singer demanded an apology while calling the council 'f***** slags'. It is estimated that the band could bring in £150m to the economy, and analytics already show the concerts created a huge boost in footfall. STV News Edinburgh Council leader Speaking to STV News after the run of Scottish gigs wrapped up, council leader Jane Meagher said the comments were never made. 'I'm not surprised that Liam was angry based on what he read, but let's be absolutely clear, these things were not said, and they were not said by council officers in any preparatory meeting that happened. 'I'm desperately keen to smooth things over. 'If anybody wants to check it out [the report], it's available on the council website for all to find out. 'This came from one of the planning meetings and one of the considerations, for example, was levels of intoxication for maintaining public order. 'Nobody talked about drunk fans, nobody talked about that.' Ms Meagher also added that, contrary to what the Oasis frontman claimed, the local authority would not see 'much' of the money the events brought into the city. She added: 'It's been a fantastically successful event and we're very pleased about the effect it's had on the city's economy, which of course is fantastic. 'Sadly, not much of that, if not any, comes directly into the pocket of the council, but we're really pleased that the city is thriving in the way that these sorts of events contribute to.' Around 210,000 fans were expected to descend on the city across the three days with extra train, tram and bus services in place to accommodate gig-goers. Only six arrests were made across the three dates, including three on Friday and another three on Tuesday. The council leader added: 'I've had reports of smooth running over the three nights. That's not just about the meticulous planning but is a tribute to the fans that they behaved incredibly well. 'Having experienced Oasis here and the excitement, I would absolutely love it if they come back to Edinburgh and they would be extremely welcome.' Scottish Love Is Blind UK star faces backlash from co-stars after U-turn
Netflix's hit dating show is back for a second season, and one Scottish cast member has already been questioned by their co-stars. *This article contains spoilers for the first four episodes of Love Is Blind UK season 2.* The much-loved dating programme, Love Is Blind UK, has returned for its second series, introducing a fresh batch of single hopefuls to the pods in their quest for enduring love. The Netflix reality show features contestants prepared to meet their potential life partners and get engaged, all without laying eyes on each other beforehand. In this series, Netflix viewers can anticipate a whirlwind of unexpected twists, tears and complicated love triangles, with one contestant in particular drawing criticism from their peers for 'changing their mind in just 24 hours'. 31 year old Nanny and makeup artist Katisha, originally from Dumfries in Scotland, found herself in a tricky situation when she captured the hearts of 30 year old financial analyst Demola and 28 year old health coach Javen. Katisha, who has been single for six years and started feeling unfortunate in love, is ready to connect with "the right type of men" in her search for a future husband. In the pods, she formed strong bonds with both Javen and Demola, leaving her uncertain about who to choose, reports the Mirror. Ultimately, her decision left one participant 'blindsided' in episode 4, fittingly titled 'She Changed Her Mind Overnight'. Initially, Katisha pledged her commitment to Demola when he expressed his desire to progress their relationship, but her attention was swayed by Javen during their next pod encounter. This sparked some drama, as she subsequently turned down Demola's proposal, leaving numerous cast members stunned after he revealed that she wanted an exclusive relationship with him. When Katisha chose to accept Javen's proposal instead, Demola's mate Kal was particularly miffed. Watch Love is Blind UK on Netflix for free with Sky from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description He revealed to the cameras: "To see Katisha and Javen together has not really sunk in yet. I do feel bad for Demola and it was a big shock to me when he came back and said that she'd gone for Jav. "I just want to know her side of things, because the jury is still out on whether Katisha's made the right choice or not." When he challenged Katisha about her choice, he queried: "It's weird that Demola thought it was him and Javen thought it wasn't him. "Yeah I didn't take it lightly," she replied. "That wasn't what it was like at all and it was really tough. "It wasn't anything against him," she continued, as tensions escalated between them and Kal butted in: "Yeah, he never did anything wrong... At all. What made you go the other way?" Katisha then responded: "For me it was more that my connection with Javen was stronger so that's just what it came down to. "I definitely made the right choice. Happy with that, are you?" she concluded with an annoyed chuckle before the episode faded to black. Has Katisha made the correct decision? Keep watching to find out. Love Is Blind UK season 2, episodes 1-4 are now available to stream on Netflix.
