From their first show at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney in 1973, the band has gone on to sell more than 200 million albums, including Highway to Hell, T.N.T., The Razor's Edge, Stiff Upper Lip and their most successful, Back In Black.
Among their anthemic tunes are It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll), You Shook Me All Night Long and Thundersruck.

The band last toured Australia in 2005 with their Don't Believe the Truth world tour, four years before they broke up and a very public split of the brothers' personal relationship.

The prolific musician has made about 50 studio albums and has a string of hits to his name, including Living Doll, Travelling Light and Devil Woman.
Sir Richard has toured Australia 11 times since beginning in 1973 and has 131 Aussie shows under his belt.
"To please a whole group at once is perfect for me," he said.
Speaking with The Senior, he shared a time when Olivia Newton-John gave him a "fabulous birthday present" - a CD of practice vocal exercises made by her vocal coach. He still uses it today before a show.

They've produced a string of albums since their 1983 debut Kill 'Em All, including their self-titled album, plus St Anger and the highly acclaimed Master of Puppets.
Among their hit singles in Australia are One, Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, Until It Sleeps, and Fuel.
This tour is in support of their 11th studio album 72 Seasons.

People get ready for home-grown talent Human Nature as they take their MTWN20 Regional Tour across Australia.
School friends Phil Burton, Toby Allen and Andrew and Michael Tierney made a name for themselves in the 1990s and early 2000s with hits including Wishes, He Don't Love You, People Get Ready and a duet with John Farnham, Every Time You Cry.
But it was when they released Reach Out: The Motown Record, featuring their versions of classics including You Keep Me Hanging On and My Girl that their careers soared to new heights. It's that very album they're celebrating with this tour.

The show has been garnering praise, with Lisa Edser describing Todd McKenney's portrayal of Asparagus (Gus) as "hilarious" and Axel Alvarez as Mr Mistoffelees "mesmerising".

School friends Phil Burton, Toby Allen and Andrew and Michael Tierney made a name for themselves in the 1990s and early 2000s with hits including Wishes, He Don't Love You, People Get Ready and a duet with John Farnham, Every Time You Cry.
But it was when they released Reach Out: The Motown Record, featuring their versions of classics including You Keep Me Hanging On and My Girl that their careers soared to new heights. It's that very album they're celebrating with this tour.
The band had hit the road earlier in 2025 to mark its 20th anniversary, but due to popular demand, have created this regional tour.

Comedy and acrobatics come together in one of Cirque Du Soleil's most beloved shows.
Corteo is a festive parade imagined by Mauro the clown, who pictures his own funeral happening in a carnival atmosphere while angels watch over.
The audience is taken into a fun, spontaneous and comedic world somewhere between heaven and earth in the production.
Premiering in Montreal in 2005, the show has since been seen by 12 million people across 30 countries.

Cats, which tells the story of the Jellicle cat tribe, who gather for the Jellicle Ball on one special night every year, opened in London in 1981.
It ran for a record-breaking 21 years on the West End and 18 years on Broadway, winning best musical at both the Olivier and Tony Awards.
The show has been garnering praise, with Lisa Edser describing Todd McKenney's portrayal of Asparagus (Gus) as "hilarious" and Axel Alvarez as Mr Mistoffelees "mesmerising".
CATS is on until September 6 at the Theatre Royal, Sydney before heading to Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne. It will be Brisbane's turn from February 2026.

It's been 40 years since The Phantom of the Opera debuted on the West End, and this production will play out on a stage built over the water.
The story follows the Phantom, a mysterious man who lives under the Paris Opera House, becomes obsessed and falls in love with his protege, young soprano Christine Daae.

Adapted from the films, teen Marty McFly (played by Axel Duffy) accidentally changes the course of history when he finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown (Roger Bart).
Packed with heart and humour, the show made its debut in Manchester in 2020 before moving to the West End and Broadway, and has won an Olivier Award for best new musical.

Doc & Morty's Excellent Adventure Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. There's a lot going on with the latest hazy IPA release from Busselton-based brewers Rocky Ridge and that's before we even look past the can. There's the DeLorean from 80s comedy classic Back to the Future, Morty from cult adult cartoon Rick & Morty and even a reference to slacker comedy Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. But underpinning it all is the simple promise of a hazy beer full of hoppy goodness. Channelling Doc Brown's mad scientist, the brewing geniuses at Rocky Ridge have mixed Motueka hops for citrus zing, Beedelup for local flair, Strata for dank depth and Nectaron for peach flavours, with Idaho 7 Cryo, Citra Lupomaxx and Quantum Brite Nectaron completing the formula. There are added to the RR Sustainable Base Malt, Rolled Spelt, Simpsons Malted Oats, Joe White Malted Wheat and Mallokup Chit Malt. The taste is juicy, the tropical fruit and citrus flavours standing out, with a just the right amount of dankness and balanced hop intensity. The finish is soft and smooth with some lingering hop fruit. So 'get schwifty', as Rick and Morty might say, and enjoy this most excellent beer before time runs out. Oasis' most memorable lyrics revealed
Don't Look Back in Anger's closing lyric has been voted Oasis' most memorable. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are currently in the midst of their reunion tour, and fans have been singling out their favourite lyrics, and not only did 'Don't look back in anger, I heard you say' from the group's 1996 single top the list, another line from the song – 'So, Sally can wait, she knows it's too late as we're walking on by' – made it into third place. In second, was Wonderwall's chorus line 'I said maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me', while lyrics from Live Forever and Stand by Me rounded out the top five. The research also looked at the lasting emotional connection fans have to Oasis songs, with 44% citing emotional impact as what makes a lyric iconic, while 35% value clever wordplay or rhyme and 13% credited one of the group's tracks for helping them reconnect with someone. Car hire company SIXT, who commissioned the research, have celebrated the Supersonic lyric 'Can I ride with you in your BMW?' by running a competition to win a premium BMW rental over the upcoming weekend 1-3 August, which will see Oasis take to the stage for another three shows at Wembley Stadium. Celine Dion pays tribute to former label mate Ozzy Osbourne
Celine Dion has hailed late label mate Ozzy Osbourne for his "boundless spirit and ear for melody". Despite being on opposite ends of the music spectrum, the My Heart Will Go On hitmaker, 57, admired the late Crazy Train singer's talent and was "deeply saddened" when she heard he had passed away on July 22, at the age of 76. Alongside a throwback picture of Ozzy, she penned on social media: 'I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy and I were label mates for many years – and although we came from very different musical universes, I always admired his boundless spirit and ear for melody on songs like 'Mama, I'm Coming Home'. He was a true original! Fearless, and simply larger than life… but also kind, thoughtful and generous.' Tributes have poured in for the Black Sabbath frontman, who played his final concert just days before his death on July 5. Metallica's Robert Trujillo shared a moving post about Ozzy hours before attending his funeral in Birmingham on Wednesday (30.07.25). The bassist in the Nothing Else Matters band had a stint in the Prince of Darkness' solo band before he joined Metallica in late 1990s and early 2000s. Members of the group - who took part in Ozzy's epic Back To The Beginning concert earlier this month - were back in the city to pay their respects. Ahead of the funeral, Robert took to Instagram to thank Ozzy for all he did for him in the early days of his career and beyond, including bringing his old band, Infectious Grooves, to a wider audience. He began: "Sadly, we're heading back to London today for Ozzy's funeral. I just want to say… "Ozzy was the conduit for so many new relationships both creative collaborations and real, lasting friendships. "I mean, Joe Holmes is Lullah's godfather, and Mike Bordin is Tye's godfather both of those connections came directly from my friendship with Ozzy. Because of Oz, Infectious Grooves was able to tour back in '91 as a brand-new band and at the time, it wasn't even really a band, just some fun songs we had recorded. We weren't ready to hit the road, but he made us step up and make it happen. He loved the song 'Therapy,' which he guest appeared on and that really kicked it all off for Infectious in the '90s. He actually demanded we open for him on the 'Theater of Madness' tour. He'd say 'I'm your best friend Rob, I f****** love the bass and the funkier and heavier the better!' "He was the gateway. (sic)" Robert went on to admit Ozzy could be "so honest it hurt", but he'll never forget his sense of humour and the "wild adventure" of touring with Ozzy and his guitarist Zakk Wylde. He continued: "Ozzy was a humble man and sometimes so honest it hurt but his sense of humor made everything absolutely amazing. Touring with Ozzy and Zakk was always a wild adventure. Those two together… it was a crazy, awesome rollercoaster. "We're all so thankful for his heart and soul. "Ozzy and Black Sabbath were and still are the soundtrack to our lives. The inspiration they gave us is beyond words. The first real alternative rock band, in my opinion. Confirming Metallica would attend the funeral, he said: "Now it's time to pay our respects, share our love, and offer our support to Sharon and the family. It's heartbreaking but we know Ozzy gave us everything he had in his final days." On taking part in Back To The Beginning, he said: "I'm so honored that Lars, James, Kirk, and I (Metallica) got to celebrate with him, to share our music and Sabbath's music on such a special day in Birmingham. Being part of that meant so much to us." He signed off the tribute: "Ozzy, RIP brother. We love you. @ozzyosbourne."
