And here are the ones they DIDN'T want you to see! From hellish holiday snaps to bad hair days and secret smokers - all the photos celebs wish could be banished from the Internet
But when it comes to fame, one could argue that it's difficult to see beyond the inevitable riches, the red carpets, the screaming fans and the beautiful, boundless homes of Beverly Hills and beyond.
However, there are definite downsides to a life spent living in the spotlight, and many a celebrity will happily tell you that the red carpet doesn't roll 24 hours a day, the screaming fans soon grow tiresome, and the camera can be your greatest friend - and worst enemy.
Indeed, even the most famous of celebrities require a bit of downtime, a fleeting moment of respite away from the blinding flash of camera bulbs, the harsh glare of stage lights and the perpetual need to always look one's best.
So perhaps they could be forgiven for feeling aggrieved when those rare moments of normality are undermined by randomly taken photos - particularly when said photos are unexpected, unflattering and, even worse, uncomfortably accessible on the Internet.
It's an awkward conundrum, and everyone from Ben Affleck to Beyoncé has risked being turned into an online meme as a result.
But who else has been affected?
KIM KARDASHIAN
Sometimes being rich and famous really is a bum deal - just ask Kim Kardashian, who was left mortified after what she considered to be unflattering photos of her emerged in 2017.
Indeed, a sunshine break on the Mexican coast turned into a holiday from hell for the mother-of-four after she expressed her shock over the images.
Dressed in a black thong bikini, the image-conscious Kardashian, 44 - arguably one of the most photographed women on the planet - was pictured relaxing by the pool.
But the woman who once 'broke the internet' was less than impressed with the images that subsequently emerged.
Reacting to the photos on her E! Keeping Up With The Kardashians show, she wailed: 'Oh my god! I don't get it. I literally don't look like this.
'I need to untag myself in everything. I'm literally going to go inside and just start untagging.'
ARIANA GRANDE
Having already been accused of appropriating black culture with her music and image, Ariana Grande inadvertantly sparked another debate in 2021 after sharing a series of promotional photos across social media.
What's the problem, you might say? Well, in a perfect world, nothing, but as we all know, the world is far from perfect.
Unimpressed followers were quick to accuse the singer of 'Asian fishing' - a term typically used to describe someone of non-Asian descent who attempts to adopt an Asian aesthetic.
It somehow stuck - and Grande's otherwise innocent photos gained attention for all the wrong reasons after fans noted her unusually straight brows, thin-winged eyeliner, no-eyelid makeup and notably lighter shade of foundation.
Even the demure, virginal pose she adopted for the shoot came under fire, with the American star attacked by social media users for 'promoting stereotypes' and 'festishing' Asian culture.
Subsequently, the images were swiftly removed from her Instagram platform - but sadly from Grande, the Internet never forgets.
BEN AFFLECK
If ever there was a reluctant celebrity, it would be Ben Affleck.
And who could blame him? The Oscar-winning star has been turned into an online meme more times than he would probably care to remember, and with good reason.
It would be seven years before Affleck was forced to respond to the viral notoriety he earned through a grim-faced appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards with then-wife Jennifer Lopez.
On that occasion lightning would strike for a second time, but it wasn't the actor's first rodeo as an online meme.
In 2016, cameras caught the actor looking rather dejected as he paused for a smoke break while out in Los Angeles with his daughter, Violet.
Dressed in a plain blue sweater and jeans, the beleaguered Affleck stood with one hand buried in a front pocket, his eyes closed in weary contemplation as he made the most of his time alone.
Unfortunately for him, the image - notoriously dubbed 'sad Ben Affleck' - became a viral meme before the dust had even settled on those famous images of the grim-faced star at the Grammys, evidently wishing the earth would swallow him whole while sat alongside his enthusiastic wife.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN
We've all suffered the occasional bad hair day, but not many of us have had them splashed all over the Internet.
Khloé Kardashian is one of the unfortunate few who has, as a rather unflattering photo from 2011 can attest.
Then married to basketball player Lamar Odom, the TV personality was shopping in Dallas when blustery weather worked against her - much to the benefit of trailing photographers.
Pictures capture the moment an unforgiving gust of wind destroyed her carefully coiffed hair as she made her way back to her car.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN (AGAIN)
It all began in 2021, when a leaked photo of Kardashian began circulating online.
Unfiltered and definitely un-Photoshopped, the image pictured the American TV personality without makeup and modelling a leopard print swimsuit while posing beside an outdoor pool.
All very innocent, one might say, but not quite, when it later transpired that Kardashian and her media-savvy family were desperate to wipe all traces of it from the web, and with good reason.
For many, the candid photo - shared without her consent - was damning evidence that she carefully manipulates her photos before releasing them across social media.
A distraught Kardashian addressed the drama on Instagram days later, as she shared live videos of herself to prove that her body 'isn't photoshopped.'
Subsequently she issued a lengthy statement where she spoke about the pressure of being in the spotlight and her body being 'micro-analyzed' as a public figure.
The star also revealed that being compared to her siblings, Kim and Kourtney, in addition to 'constant ridicule and judgement' had been 'too much to bear.'
An excerpt from her message read: 'As someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn't flattering in bad lighting or doesn't capture your body the way it is after working so hard...
'You should have every right to ask for it to not be shared, regardless of who you are.
She continued: 'My body, my image and how I choose to look and what I want to share is my choice.
'It's not for anyone to decide or judge what is acceptable or not anymore,' also adding that she likes a good filter, good lighting and an edit here and there.
JENNIFER ANISTON
God only knows what clean-living Ross Chandler would've thought if Rachel Green was a smoker.
For most people it's a deal breaker, and in a world increasingly opposed to lighting up it's no surprise that Jennifer Aniston chose to keep her off-screen smoking status a closely guarded secret.
But in 2022, the Friends star - better known for her wholesome, health-conscious public image - was filmed having her cigarette lit by former husband Justin Theroux.
Ordinarily not an issue, but Aniston had claimed to have given up the habit after previously confessing to being a 'chain-smoker' who tore through a pack a day during the early years of her career.
Fans took the admission literally, with may believing she had stopped smoking in 2007 - three years after filming her final scenes on Friends.
Unfortunately for Aniston, the damning video proved. otherwise, and it was swiftly deleted from Theroux's Instagram platform.
BEYONCE
It doesn't get much bigger than the Super Bowl.
Just ask Beyoncé, who performed for thousands of gathered spectators and millions of TV viewers during the sporting spectacle's 2013 halftime show at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
But 'Queen Bey' was less than impressed with some of the photos that subsequently emerged following her energetic performance at the 83,000 capacity venue.
Indeed, matted hair, strained sinews and sweaty complexions are never a good look, but it was an unholy trinity she was forced to confront courtesy of online outlet Buzzfeed.
Beyoncé's dismay led to her publicist emailing the site directly with a request for the offending photos to be taken down
Sadly for the R&B legend and her team, Buzzfeed refused.
Worse, they reacted by writing a follow-up article titled: 'The 'Unflattering' Photos Beyoncé's Publicist Doesn't Want You To See.'
Ouch.
'Hey Lana, get over here and pose for a photo next to this barbed wire fence!'
It probably didn't play out that way, but Lana Del Rey would be forgiven for regretting her decision to pose for a snap outside Cook County Department of Corrections in 2022.
The singer, whose plaintive songs about love, sex and relationships have made her a global star, was pictured arm-in-arm with musician Jack Donoghue next to a barbed wire fence surrounding the Chicago penitentiary.
Already romantically linked to Donoghue, a founding member of the band Salem, Del Rey appeared to confirm their romance in the shot following its emergence on his Instagram platform, where it was shared alongside the caption: 'Family visit.'
All well and good, but Donaghue had previously sparked controversy by sharing a photo of himself licking his pet dog's tongue.
Additionally, the musician was also the subject of photos that appear to capture him passionately kissing his first cousin on the lips.
Del Rey is is now married to Jeremy Dufrene, a swamp tour guide from Louisiana.

Lady Gaga leads 2025 MTV Video Music Awards nominations, followed by Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar
Abracadabra, feel the beat under your feet — Lady Gaga is back on top. The 'Mayhem' musician tops the 2025 the MTV Video Music Award nominations with 12, ending Taylor Swift's two-year run in the top spot. Gaga is up for best collaboration, pop, direction, art direction, cinematography, editing, choreography, visual effects as well as song, video, album and artist of the year. Rounding out the artist of the year category nominees announced Tuesday are Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen and The Weeknd as well as Beyoncé and Swift. The latter two are especially noteworthy because the two pop powerhouses are tied for the title of most career total VMAs. Each have 30. Beyoncé and Swift are only nominated in the artist of the year category at September's VMAs, so if one of them wins, they will become the most-awarded musician in VMA history. Gaga is followed closely by Bruno Mars, with 11 nominations. Lamar has 10. Sabrina Carpenter and first-time nominee Blackpink's ROSÉ are tied with eight; as are Ariana Grande and The Weeknd with seven. Billie Eilish has six. Charli xcx has five. Bad Bunny, Doechii, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Miley Cyrus and Tate McRae boast four each. The top prize of the night, video of the year, sees Gaga and Mars' 'Die With A Smile' go up against Grande's 'Brighter Days Ahead,' Eilish's 'Birds of a Feather,' Lamar's 'Not Like Us,' ROSÉ and Mars' 'APT.', Sabrina Carpenter's 'Manchild,' and The Weeknd, and Playboi Carti's 'Timeless.' The three-hour show will broadcast live on CBS on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific, broadcast live from the UBS Arena just outside New York City. It will also simulcast on MTV and be available to stream on Paramount+. A one-hour, live preshow will air across Paramount Media Networks. CBS is home to a number of award shows, including the Tony Awards and the American Music Awards. It has aired the Grammys since 1973, though that show will head to ABC in 2027. This year's Video Music Awards features 33 first-time nominees, which include Alex Warren, Blake Shelton, Brent Faiyaz, Gigi Perez, KATSEYE and Lainey Wilson. Mac Miller also became the first artist to get their first VMA nomination posthumously. There are also two new categories this year, best country and best pop artist. Fan voting began online Tuesday across 19 gender neutral categories and ends Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. Eastern. Voting in the best new artist category will remain active during the show.

Teddi Mellencamp breaks down in tears asking if cancer diagnosis was 'payback' for her affair
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp finally broke her silence regarding the alleged affair with her horse trainer, Simon Schroeder. While appearing on Tuesday's episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast, the reality star, 44, opened up about the controversy that made headlines in late 2024. 'I've never talked about it at all, just because of the kids, and I've never wanted anybody to have a guarantee whether it happened or didn't happen,' Mellencamp explained. 'But what I can say is, did I do things that hurt other people? Yes.' As her eyes welled with tears, the mother-of-three reflected on how deeply the situation continues to affect her, without confirming or denying whether the cheating scandal occurred. 'To this day, does it still hurt my heart and I wonder if that's why I got cancer? Yes, like it was my payback,' she said, referencing her ongoing battle with stage 4 cancer after her melanoma spread to her brain and lungs. 'Nothing goes without payment,' she added. 'However long it was … it was all over the press, it was everywhere. You're trying to minimize everybody's pain. You end up maximizing it. Because now not only do you have yourself, you have your significant other, your kids, the other person's significant other, their kids.' Court records confirm that Schroeder's ex-wife, Karli Schroeder, filed for divorce on December 30, 2024, just months after rumors of an affair began circulating. The documents, obtained by People, cited irreconcilable differences and revealed that the couple had remarried on April 14, 2024, after annulling a prior marriage in February. They officially separated on September 22, 2024. The allegations involving Simon emerged while Mellencamp was also going through a difficult period in her personal life. She had filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Edwin Arroyave, on November 1, 2024, also citing irreconcilable differences. Then, in February 2025, Mellencamp publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis, pausing the divorce proceedings. Despite everything, Mellencamp and Arroyave have remained close and have a amicable co-parenting relationship. The former couple share three children: Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5. 'I always knew he'd do the right thing by me,' she said during the podcast. 'If he wanted to, he could still be filing and finishing this divorce off right now. But… it was like, 'Yeah, of course. No, we'll wait. We'll wait until she's better, and then we'll figure it out.' When asked directly about her role in the scandal, Mellencamp didn't shy away from the wreckage left behind. 'So many people are hurt in the wreckage,' she said. 'But I can say this from knowing — the wreckage doesn't happen on its own. It never had happened to me,' she said. She acknowledged she was in a dark place mentally and physically during that period. 'I think I was so broken as a human being during that part of my life that I did things out of my better judgment,' she admitted. 'I was so sick.' Mellencamp revealed she had been experiencing 'severe and debilitating headaches' for months before doctors discovered tumors. 'I was looking for comfort anywhere I can get it. I felt so much pain. I felt so sick. I didn't go to the doctors. I just felt some certain kind of way,' she said. 'The pain was so much that I had gotten to the point of like, almost hating waking up in the morning, which I had never been that kind of person.' Still, she emphasized that illness doesn't excuse her choices. 'I wasn't myself, but I'm not going to blame my alleged actions on the fact that I was sick,' Mellencamp said. 'But I do think a bunch of things happened in my life all around the same time, and I had zero control of any of them. Like I just was running around like a chicken with my head cut off.'

Khloe Kardashian accidentally reveals a naughty habit in throwback photo with sister Kim in Italy
Khloe Kardashian accidentally revealed a naughty habit while in Venice from throwback photos shared on Monday. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians veteran was snacking on junk food. The beauty was all made up to the nines with perfect hair and makeup before hitting an event in Italy when she stuck her hand into a bag of Ruffles potato chips. A 1-ounce (28g) serving of Ruffles Original Potato Chips contains approximately 160 calories. The mother-of-two was also in a very tight evening gown with high heels as she sat on a chair next to a bed. With the darling from Calabasas was her mother Kris Jenner and older sister Kim Kardashian. They were at the Gritti Palace Hotel ahead of the wedding of Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos with Lauren Sanchez in Venice on June 26. Celebrities in superyachts sail into Venice for the three-day wedding party of Bezos and Sanchez, despite irate locals who say the UNESCO city is no billionaire's playground. The tech magnate and journalist invited about 200 guests to their multi-million dollar nuptials in the Italian city, which kicked off on June 26. This comes after Khloe talked cancer. Kardashian hid her first melanoma diagnosis from her family following her dad Robert Kardashian's death. Attorney and businessman Robert - who was also father to Kourtney Kardashian, 46, and Kim Kardashian, 44, and Rob Kardashian, 38, whom he had with ex-wife Kris Jenner, 69 - died in September 2003, aged 59, two months after he was diagnosed with cancer in his esophagus, when Khloé was aged 19. Shortly after Robert's sudden death, Khloé found out she had melanoma - the most dangerous type of skin cancer, which is primarily caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or sunbeds - but she kept it a secret because she 'didn't want to worry anyone' amidst her family's grief. Speaking on the latest episode of her Khloé in Wonderland podcast, the media personality recalled: 'My first bout of skin cancer, I was 19 years old. When you're 19, you don't really think about how scary things can be, so I don't remember a lot. 'I know my dad died when I was 19 of esophageal cancer, and then months later, I found out I had skin cancer on my back. 'I literally didn't even tell my family because I knew I just had to get this removed, and I'll be fine. 'I knew I was fine. Cancer is a really scary word. I was also 19, and you're nuts at 19 years old. 'I literally drove myself to the doctor, got all this skin removed, and that was it. [I] didn't think much about it.' In October 2022, Khloé noticed she had a 'bump' on her face, and she initially thought it was 'cystic acne'. The Kardashians star recounted: 'I was convinced it was that cystic pimple. It would not go away. I was trying to pick it, all these things. 'I think I messed around with it for over a year. I got facials. I would ask this person, that person, no one thought it was weird, it was my same skin color. 'I do have a lot of beauty marks all over me, but they're brown. So I was like, 'Gosh, maybe this is a skin color mole.' I didn't know what it was.' Khloé got a biopsy to check it out before it turned out to be melanoma again. She added: 'So we cut it out, and within days they found out it was melanoma. I sent it to my other dermatologist, they analyzed it, because it's on my face … where my cheek line is, they have to remove the tumor that's there. You also have to take enough skin, like healthy skin, around it to make sure the cells didn't spread.' And Khloé got a 'family friend' - who is a plastic surgeon - to treat it. She said: 'He removed the tumor, and the scary part is you don't know how much they need to remove until they start cutting into you. They think they're getting all the borders, but then they have to test it. 'We did it. Everything was perfect. He got all they needed the first time. So now I don't have skin cancer.'
