Luxury £40 beauty box is worth £180 and includes a full-size £36 Caudalie ‘elixir of youth'
A beauty box is the perfect way to try out new products, stock up on some old faithfuls, and generally just restock your beauty cabinet without breaking the bank. So when Boots launched its latest The Beauty Drop Beauty Box for just £40, we knew it would be an instant winner for beauty lovers.
Despite its £40 price tag, the box contains £178.40 worth of products, spanning skincare, makeup, haircare and perfume. You'll get nine products – six of which are full size – in the box, including a full size bottle of Caudalie's Beauty Elixir which costs £36 on its own.
Considering the box costs just £4 more than the full size Caudalie mist, it's a guaranteed bargain for any beauty fan, getting you £138.40 worth of freebies. The Caudalie mist is based on the centuries old 'elixir of youth' used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary, and promises to instantly brighten your skin whilst giving it a refreshing and hydrating boost.
The other items in The Beauty Drop Beauty Box include:

Major Sky TV guide shake-up will see fan favourite channels swapped in HOURS with full week of changes revealed
SKY customers are in line for more reshuffles to its channel guide, which will kick off in days. Whether you're watching on Sky+, Sky Q, or the newer Sky Glass and Stream, your usual favourites could be vanishing or taking on new identities in the blink of an eye. 1 This is just one of the changes expected by the TV giant over the next few weeks. On August 18, Sky Adventure will settle into its new role as Sky Family. And that's not all, on the same day, horror and sci-fi fanatics get a stellar treat as Sky Sci-Fi & Horror boldly goes where it's never gone before — rebranding as Sky Star Trek for a cosmic temporary change. Two days later, on August 20, music fans will notice a nostalgic twist — That's Summer gets turned up to eleven as it becomes That's Rock, and That's Dance trades in the club for a throwback as it transforms into That's Oldies. And then, in a flurry of final switches, August 22 will see Sky Animation martial arts-kick its way into becoming kungfupandaHD, and Sky Favourites goes full throttle with a turbo-charged new identity: Sky Fast. Lastly, Sky Star Trek ends its space voyage and reverts to Sky Sci-Fi & Horror, closing out a whirlwind month of switches, swaps, and surprises. The shifts started on August 1, when Sky Sports Action became SkySp Lions — a temporary roar for rugby fans on channel 412 for satellite viewers, and 410 for Glass users. The changes continued on August 2 when Sky Greats morphed into Sky Jaws for a sharp-toothed celebration of the classic shark saga. On August 4, Sky Antiheroes ditched its darker side and reverted back to Sky Hits HD. Meanwhile, Sky Schools Out got a fresh coat of paint as Sky Adventure, and Sky Jaws swam back to its original Sky Greats branding. This comes after we revealed the cheeky Sky customers can bag fresh telly on the cheap. There are three apps on your Sky TV that can give you extra telly to watch. You can find them right in the Apps & Inputs folder on your Home Screen. If you can't see them right away, you might need to scroll right to the end. First up is Xumo Play, which has over 75 channels available to watch for free. The catch is that you'll need to sit through ads – but that's the case with most Sky TV channels anyway. Load up the app and you'll be able to scroll through a special bonus TV guide with loads of channels. That includes a Xumo Movies channel (with some "originals), plus Sky Sports Classics, Dateline 24/7, and a Mythbusters channel. It also has loads of on-demand TV shows and movies too. It doesn't carry the big names you might find on Netflix or Disney+, but it's a great way to find a cheesy film for movie night. The second app worth taking a look at for free telly is called U. Its official description reads: "Whether you love documentaries, crave comedy or want to lose yourself in a great drama – whatever you want to watch, whenever you want to watch it." U is packed with on-demand content across for loads of different TV shows. For instance, you can watch The Office, Would I Lie To You?, I'm Alan Partridge, Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown, Doctor Foster, MasterChef Australia, Prison Break, and The Bill. It's all content from UKTV's free-to-air channels like U&Dave, U&Drama, U&W, and U&Yesterday. There's no subscription fee, but you will need to register for an account before you can watch any telly.

Popular brand launches holiday-inspired perfumes and one is like 'sunshine in a bottle'
The inclusive fashion house has tried their hand at personal fragrance and we've got our hands on them Popular high street retailer Never Fully Dressed is best known for their stylish ensembles, but now, the growing brand has dipped it's toe into new territory with it's first foray into fragrance. It's a smart move, and a 'natural next step' for the retailer, seeing as we have to agree that no outfit is complete without a spritz of perfume. As such, Never Fully Dressed has released two stand out scents that come in both a wearable perfume and candle form. Both scents, named 001 and 002, have been inspired by the Balearic Islands, making them ideal picks for summer. Speaking on the launch, NFD founder Lucy Aylen said: 'Our community has always inspired how we create - and scent was the natural next step, we wanted to bottle up that feeling of empowerment, connection, and freedom you get on a European holiday. Whether it's morning espresso in the sun or dancing barefoot under the stars - these scents bring the story to life.' Shoppers 'stop using shower gel' thanks to new 'favourite' that 'smells better' Olivia Attwood's 'stunning' initial necklace that 'goes with everything' is on sale Naturally, our scent enthusiasts, perfume expert Jada Jones and former Boots fragrance counter employee Bethan Shufflebotham couldn't wait to try them out. For fans of Jazz Club and Tobacco Vanille, 001 is probably the way to go. It combines spices like saffron, cinnamon and black pepper with coffee, rum, sandalwood and oud for something perfect for cooler months. Meanwhile, those who prefer a fruitier fragrance that lends itself to sunny days, the raspberry-forward 002 could be the perfect alternative to scents like Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple or Mugler's Angel Nova. Jada tried 001 I was very nervous when I saw what notes were in this perfume as I typically avoid saffron, oud and tobacco in my own perfumes. Any nerves I had were quickly squashed as soon as I first sprayed it from the bottle. Although I definitely lean more to classically feminine fragrances and this one is undeniably unisex, there's a sultry vibe to it that makes it quite pleasant. I think it's on the heavier side for summer but can see this being a hit this autumn. It would be such a great date night scent and there's the added bonus that it smells a lot more expensive than it is. The bottle is also a stunning addition to any collection. I found it easily lasts six hours on my skin and didn't need topping up, it might have the potential to last longer although I've not noticed that yet. This would make a great gift and has the added benefit of leaning unisex so it's easy to share with loved ones. I'm curious to see where this range goes. Bethan tried 002 I can't talk about this perfume without first mentioning the absolutely gorgeous bottle. It comes in an amber vessel with a pink marble effect lid, which I think I could repurpose as a little candlestick holder when I'm through with the scent. It looks stunning on display on a dressing table, which means I find myself reaching for it more frequently than the bottles I have stashed in a drawer, too, so I've no doubt I'll get through this fast. If the packaging wasn't joyful enough, then comes the fragrance itself, which really is like sunshine in a bottle. It's not your classic Sol de Janeiro kind of holiday scent, but really offers up something a little bit different and unique. When you first spray it, you get a fresh, juicy hit of raspberry with a little spicy kick from pink pepper - it's bright and uplifting so you feel instantly awake and the juxtaposition between the two notes is lovely. After a few minutes, it softens into a mix of fresh greens and florals thanks to the jasmine and cedar leaf. It's still light, but feels a bit more grown-up and polished. Then as it dries down, the scent turns warmer and more addictive, with vanilla, amber and patchouli. While the fragrance is distinctly a day-time scent, it's these final notes which make it great for layering for an evening vibe. It costs £69 for the 100ml, however, those looking just to try it out can get the 10ml for £19 - ideal for travelling - however, you don't then get the benefit of the beautiful bottle.

Emmerdale star Michael Parr makes a huge lifestyle change ahead of welcoming his first child
Michael Parr has embraced a 'huge lifestyle change' as he prepares to welcome his first child. The Emmerdale star, best known for portraying Ross Barton in the ITV soap, revealed in May that he and his girlfriend, Isabelle Du Plessis, are expanding their family. And as he gears up for the biggest role of his life, he has admitted that settling down was not something that was always on the cards for him. In a new interview with the Mirror, Michael, 38, said: 'I was 26 when I first got the job and before it used to be about the nightclubs and going out for pints after work. 'Now I'm entering dad mode. I like my tea and early nights.' Revealing his reaction to the pregnancy news, he added: 'Once Izzy told me, my whole outlook on life changed, It's made me realise what's actually important to me.' Back in May, Mike's girlfriend took to Instagram to confirm they are set to become parents in a sweet post. She shared a series of heartwarming photographs of her and Mike - who is best known for playing Ross Barton - cuddling up to one another. Isabelle showed off her growing baby bump in a figure-hugging red floral gown, which she styled with white sandals. Mike cut a smart figure in a white shirt and black trousers as he posed with his hand placed on Isabelle's stomach. The couple flashed huge smiles as they appeared thrilled to be sharing the news that they are growing their family. They did not confirm the due date, simply teasing that their baby is due 'soon', nor have they yet announced their first child's gender. In a caption, Isabelle simply gushed: 'In our Mum & Dad Era.' Mike revealed in October that he was in a new relationship but kept the identity of his girlfriend a secret. He told The Mirror at the time: 'I'm in a very happy relationship. She's amazing and has been very supportive.' He previously dated his co-star Isabelle Hodgins - who plays Victoria Sugden on the soap - but the pair parted ways back in 2019. Mike played the role of villain Ross Barton on Emmerdale from 2013 until 2018, and he has recently reprised his role. After his debut on the show, he quickly became a fan favourite for his portrayal of the complex-but-charismatic Ross. The actor said he was 'bored' just two months after his departure in 2018 due to being out of work, and reappeared on screen at the end of 2024. Ross was known for his tumultuous relationships with Donna Windsor and Debbie Dingle, and his departure followed a horrific acid attack which left him battling depression. Of his return, Michael said: 'I'm over the moon to be returning to Emmerdale. Ross is a character I'm extremely fond of and I'm excited to explore what he's been up to over the past five years. 'After seeing the scripts, I can't wait for the audience to see what's in store. One thing I can say is Ross's return will no doubt create fireworks.'
