Joss Stone gives birth seven months after adopting baby son and announces adorable name
Joss Stone has said she's absolutely smitten and 'in love' after welcoming her fourth child. The singer already has Violet, four, Shackleton, two, and seven-month-old Bear with her her husband Cody DaLuz.
And now, the star has announced that she welcomed her new baby, as she shared the first photo of herself cuddled up with her newborn daughter. On Instagram, she shared the snap and penned: "Welcome our beautiful Nalima Rose to the world. We are so in love."
Joss and Cody adopted baby boy Bear last year and just weeks after, she found out she was pregnant again. In December, she shared the happy news on Instagram ahead of her live tour, saying: "Honestly. Shocked was an understatement. Nothing and no one can take our joy now.
"We are so chuffed. Maybe we should call the 'Less is More' tour the preggo tour." (sic). The 38 year old admitted that she found the whole adoption process far from smooth-sailing, with numerous bumps in the road, leading to multiple setbacks.
Joss said it had been a dream of hers to adopt a child and even had a conversation with Cody within the first few weeks of them dating. After making the decision following the birth of their two children, Joss said they spent a year and a half going through the adoption process.
"We had some adoptions fall through," Joss revealed. "We've had moments where we were chosen, but we couldn't get there in time. "There's been lots of things that have happened, and you start to feel like it's not going to happen.
"And then, we got that call. And it's just the most beautiful thing." Speaking about her son, she said: "He's so sweet and his birth mother is so sweet. She could not be any nicer. It's just like everything is perfect. We haven't got to deal with a difficult situation. It's all love. Everyone is just full of love for this little guy."
Joss' husband was adopted as a child and she has previously revealed it was something he had always wanted to do.
However, the journey to collect little Bear did not go entirely smoothly, as the couple ended up in the wrong hospital and became confused about where to go.
Then when Bear was just weeks old, Joss revealed he had problems with his lungs and doctors have warned them not to take him out anywhere.
In a video posted on Instagram, Joss was seen sitting in her car with Bear, saying: "I am sat in the car with him because he is so little that he can't go out because he was so premature his lungs are a little bit vulnerable."
The singer-songwriter experienced a difficult birth with her second child during which her uterus split, writes The Mirror.
At the time, Joss said doctors told her she could have another child but that she would be unable to give birth naturally. The star previously spoke about experiencing a miscarriage in October 2021.
The singer said her two youngest babies would be 'Irish twins' as they will they will be 'the same age for four months'. The term 'Irish twins' is sometimes used to describe two children who were born within a year of each other.

Maroon 5 vet Mickey Madden's wife is seen for the first time since she accused him of abuse
Mickey Madden's wife, Catherine 'Kate' Blair Bowman, has been spotted for the first time since she filed a restraining order against the former bassist for Maroon 5. Bowman accused Madden of attacking her when she accused him of sexting teenagers. She had a somber expression on her face as she stepped out of the Los Angeles home she once shared with the bassist on Thursday. The 37-year-old wore a fitted, white polo shirt paired with gray shorts, black leather ballet flats and a Chateau Marmont x Gucci bag on her shoulder as she walked to her car. This sighting comes just as Madden's former bandmate Adam Levine performed on the Today show in NYC. On Friday, Levine was in New York City, performing in Rockefeller Plaza alongside the rest of his bandmates. He looked effortlessly stylish in a denim jacket, which he wore open to showcase his bare, tattooed chest. He paired the outerwear with blue slacks and a brown, leather belt to complete his look as he and his band members performed some of their most popular hits. Currently, Maroon 5 consists of Levine as vocalist and frontman alongside rhythm guitarist-keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton as well as bassist Sam Farrar. Late last month, Bowman filed a restraining order against Madden, accusing him of domestic violence. In legal documents, she claimed that she had confronted him about him texting teenage girls before he started getting physically violent. 'He physically abused me,' Bowman said in court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, in regard to a series of events which unfolded on July 21. 'I'm now terrified of him.' Bowman said the bass player went 'insane' after she asked him about the alleged messages with the teenage girls, which allegedly centered around a rape fantasy. He previously took a leave from the band following an arrest for alleged domestic violence. At the time, he was not married and the identity of the alleged victim was not revealed. He has been married to Bowman for over four years; pictured November 2022 in West Hollywood Madden went 'insane' when Bowman asked him about the situation, Bowman told the court, grabbing her arms and slamming her body against a kitchen counter. 'He pulled me to the ground and was out of his mind,' Bowman told the court in her filing. Daily Mail has reached out to reps for the band, and an Instagram account Mickey Madden appears to run, for further comment on the story. Bowman described her efforts to flee the dangerous situation in her court filing. 'I managed to move around and escape him, got up, and ran out of the house to escape him,' she said. She continued: 'He ran after me in his underwear and barefoot, caught up to me, shoved me against the gate, and then tried to grab me back to the house.' Bowman said that she 'managed to escape and ran to the street' but Madden 'found [her] twice in different locations, physically abusing me each time.' She included screengrabs in her filing from ring camera footage to support her claims. Bowman tried to retrieve Madden's phone, and says she wound up leaving the home afraid for her life. Bowman was able to rummage through the contents of the phone after she ran down the street and hid between cars after escaping the enraged musician's clutches, she said in court documents. She told the court that Madden had never shown that level of outrage prior to their marriage. Bowman was pointed out to the text-related allegations against Madden by a stranger, she said in the court filing. Bowman told the court that she subsequently moved out of the home and has been residing with a friend in the wake of the conflict, she said in the court filing. Bowman told the court that Madden told her he was sorry via text message, and that he was planning on seeking help for sex addiction. She said she was concerned about Madden's potential mercurial reaction when he sees that she used a credit card of theirs to hire a lawyer in the wake of the July 21 incident. Bowman has asked for a restraining order preventing Madden from approaching within 100 yards of her person, place of business, residence or vehicle. Bowman said that Madden has exerted monetary control over her for the duration of their four-year-plus marriage. Bowman said said she has since started working a job, and is concerned that Madden will try to track her down at her work. She added that she's put a deposit down for an apartment where she will reside. Bowman is asking for expenses, in addition to custody of a pair of Siberian Husky dogs they own named Jam and Toast.

Stevie Nicks cancels tour dates just days before first gig due to injury
Stevie Nicks has been forced to postpone a series of upcoming tour dates after sustaining a shoulder fracture that requires time to heal. The 76-year-old music icon took to Instagram to share the news directly with fans, confirming that concerts scheduled for August and September will be rescheduled. 'Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks' scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled,' she wrote. 'Please note that October dates will be unaffected.' The Fleetwood Mac legend added that the tour is expected to resume on Wednesday, October 1 in Portland, Oregon. 'Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for this inconvenience,' the message concluded. Fans who have already purchased tickets are advised to retain them, as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows. Specific details about new dates and venues will be made available at the original point of purchase. Nicks had initially announced a nine-date tour across the US and Canada back in April, with performances slated for August and October. Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows were later added, including a launch night at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on August 8, as well as stops in Hollywood, Florida and Detroit in September. October was set to bring her to cities including Portland, Sacramento, Atlantic City, Charlotte, and Hartford. The news comes after Nicks postponed her Glasgow gig at short notice after having minor surgery for a leg injury. The Dreams singer was due to appear at the OVO Hydro earlier this month but organisers said she needs a 'few days of recovery' following a medical procedure. Even more recently, Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham officially confirmed the re-release of their 1973 duo album Buckingham Nicks. The famously acrimonious former bandmates caused fans to 'crash out' with a matching pair of social media posts in June, and then the appearance of a mysterious billboard a few days later. More Trending Many took to social media to speculate that the pair might finally be on speaking terms again after famously feuding for decades. Then, they informed the world that a re-release of Buckingham Nicks – which they recorded before joining Fleetwood Mac – will be available September 19. For now, fans will need to wait just a little longer to see the mystical frontwoman return to the stage. The silver lining? Nicks plans to be back on the road this autumn. Got a story? 'Molly-Mae Hague's parenting woes are tougher than most - she shouldn't be shamed for it'
EXCLUSIVE: Former Love Island star and mum-of-one Molly-Mae Hague says she's overwhelmed by motherhood amid backlash - but experts have urged fans to be empathic over critical Reality star and influencer Molly-Mae Hague has recently revealed the intense challenges she is facing as a mother, openly sharing moments of emotional strain as she navigates parenthood with two-year-old daughter Bambi. The former Love Island star, 26, welcomed Bambi with partner Tommy Fury in 2023, but Molly-Mae has been faced with seemingly endless challenges since. However, an expert has insisted that her candidness offers an important reminder of the realities many new parents endure but are rarely seen or discussed publicly. In a recent tearful video, Molly-Mae spoke about feeling overwhelmed amid the pressures of raising her daughter Bambi, particularly as she goes through what many know as the "terrible twos." It comes after Molly-Mae sobbed in a YouTube video after she was called 'out of touch' by fans. The 25-year-old said: 'I just feel overwhelmed. I feel like my brain is jumbled, and I don't feel like myself anymore.' She described the exhaustion and mental load that come with constant parenting demands, admitting that motherhood has been far tougher than she anticipated. The video struck a chord with many parents, who praised her honesty, though it also drew criticism from others who accused her of being 'out of touch' due to her high-profile lifestyle and for being "too soft" when Bambi throws her tantrums. However, behavioural experts say Molly-Mae's experience is far from unusual and stresses the importance of compassion in tough parenting situations like hers. Dr. Hannah Richards, a behavioural psychologist specialising in parental wellbeing, told The Mirror: "Parenthood is a profound psychological and emotional transition. "Feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, and self-doubt are common, especially during challenging developmental stages like the toddler years. For public figures like Molly-Mae, the scrutiny intensifies the pressure, making it harder to cope." Dr. Richards points out that societal expectations often create an unrealistic picture of motherhood as always joyful and as easy as it looks. 'The truth is much more complex. Parenting involves highs and lows, and being honest about struggles is crucial to breaking down stigma.' Molly-Mae's decision to share her vulnerability publicly is helping to broaden conversations about the true nature of parenting. 'It's okay not to have everything figured out,' she recently said, encouraging others to be open about their difficulties. Her experience with Bambi's 'terrible twos', which is a stage marked by increased independence and testing behaviours, can be challenging for any parent says Dr. Richards. "This developmental phase can push parents to their limits, and admitting to struggles is a sign of strength, not weakness," she says. Despite the huge backlash from thousands of fans, other supporters applauded Molly-Mae for shedding light on the emotional realities many parents face in private. One fan commented: "Seeing her be so honest helps people understand they're not alone in feeling overwhelmed." Another echoed: "She's literally a 26-year-old girl trying to navigate being in the public eye, being a businesswoman, and being a mum. Give her some grace." As more public figures like Molly-Mae share their honest journeys, mental health professionals are hoping that society will grow more empathetic and supportive toward new parents. 'Instead of judging, we should offer understanding and compassion," Dr. Richards concludes. "Parenthood is one of life's most demanding transitions and everyone deserves support. People shouldn't judge Molly-Mae for being honest."
