Gregor Kobel has a long contract with Borussia Dortmund, but his agent is expected to land in London in the coming days to hold talks with Premier League clubs. According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea and Newcastle United are the clubs interested in the shot-stopper.
Kobel joined BVB in 2021, and he extended his contract until 2028. At the end of his fourth season at the club, Dortmund could miss out on a Champions League spot. That could facilitate his departure from the club after his name was linked with Bayern Munich multiple times.
With four games left to play, Kobel has already conceded the second-most goals in his Bundesliga career. Since Yann Sommer retired from international football, the 27-year-old has also assumed the number 1 role for Switzerland.

Liverpool agree British record £116m fee for Florian Wirtz
Liverpool have agreed a British record fee of €136.3million (£116m) to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz. The two teams have reached a final agreement on the transfer fee following productive talks. Wirtz will sign a five-year deal with the Premier League champions, in a transfer that represents a club record and potential new British record figure. Germany's Sané believes in World Cup chance despite Galatasaray move
