'Project X' achieved impressive box office revenues in Egyptian cinemas on the eve of Eid al-Adha. The highly anticipated film secured the top spot, raking in LE2.114 million from the sale of 14,880 tickets in just 24 hours. This strong performance propelled the film's total earnings over 16 nights to an remarkable LE52.2 million, with 368,000 tickets sold. 'Project X': A cinematic spectacle 'Project X' stands as one of the most ambitious cinematic productions in the history of Egyptian and Arab cinema. Its grand scale is underscored by filming across five countries: Egypt, Vatican City, Italy, Turkey, and El Salvador. The film also boasts the use of cutting-edge global cinematic technologies, including IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Atmos, and ScreenX, promising audiences an unparalleled visual and auditory experience in the Arab world. The film features a stellar cast led by Karim Abdel Aziz, Iyad Nassar, Yasmine Sabri, Ahmed Ghazi, and Mariam El Gendy, with special appearances by Maged El Kedwany, Essam El Sakka, and Hana El Zahed. This upcoming film will see him team up with fellow superstar Ahmed Ezz, promising a powerful on-screen pairing. Penned by Mohamed al-Dabbah with a story by Turki al-Sheikh, '7Dogs' is set to be directed by the internationally recognized duo Adel and Bilal, and also produced by al-Sheikh. Amal Maher to Collab with Mohamed Mohamady‎ for First Time on New Song

Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar, Amal Maher is working on a new song called "Law Lena Omr". It is by the lyrics of Nader Abd Allah and composed by Mohamed Mohamady‎. "Law Lena Omr" marks the first collaboration between Maher and Mohamady‎. It also witnesses the superstar's first music in 2025 and comes after a period of absence from the music scene. ‏ Born on February 19, 1985, Maher began singing as a child by presenting songs by iconic singer Umm Kulthum. She was discovered at the age of fifteen and enrolled at the Conservatory of Arabic Music to begin her singing career. The acclaimed singer soon met composer Mohamed Diae, whom she eventually married and became the father of her son, Omar. She filed for divorce a year later. She recorded her first song in 2006 and received the support of Egyptian music icon Ammar El Sherei, who she considers to be her spiritual father. Egypt's "Blackout" to Compete at 37th Palm Springs International ShortFest

Yara Sameh Egyptian short film "Blackout" will compete at the 2025 Palm Springs International ShortFest, one of the world's premiere festivals dedicated to short form film. The 37th edition of the festival, running June 24-30 in the famed Sonoran Desert town in California, will showcase 311 films hailing from 64 countries and territories. "Blackout" will screen in the Welcome to the Neighbourhood section, alongside over 300 shorts from more than 100 countries. Directed and written by Ahmed Moustafa ElZogbhy, "Blackout" follows a family during the early hours of Eid, as a health emergency spirals into psychological tension inside a Cairo apartment building. With the male family members gone in search of a doctor, the women and children are left behind, until a mysterious tenant and her companion arrive, triggering a confrontation with their fears and expectations. The film stars Sedky Sakhr, Gihan El Shamashergy, Yara Goubran, and Malek Emad. Co-producers include Mohamed Hefzy, Safei ElDin Mahmoud, Aly El Araby, and more. It is produced by Hind Metwalli, Mohamed Hefzy, Safei Eldin Mahmoud, Baho Bakhsh, Ali Elarabi, Ahmed Amer, Sherif Fathy, Ibrahim El-Nagari, and Mustafa El-Kashef.
