Rosie Roche: Princes William and Harry's cousin found dead
Rosie Roche, the granddaughter of their mother Princess Diana's uncle, was found dead at the family home at Norton in Wiltshire by her mother and sister on July 14, The Sun reports.
A firearm was found near her body and the death has been deemed as 'non-suspicious with no third party involvement' by coroner Grant Davies.
Ms Roche had been studying English Literature at Durham University and had been packing to go away with friends on the day she died.
A spokeswoman said she 'will be sorely missed'.
Ms Roche's family and Prince William have not yet commented publicly on her death.

The 45-year-old's death was deemed not suspicious.
Mr Kingston was married to the Kent's daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor.

Journalist's horror discovery reporting missing girl case
A Brazilian journalist has made a grim discovery while reporting on a missing schoolgirl who was last seen swimming in the Mearim River in Bacabal, northeastern Brazil. Lenildo Frazão was reporting from chest deep in the river while a segment was filmed, illustrating the depth of the river where the 13-year-old was seen cooling off with friends. 'The water is already above my chest, so you can see the situation there. If I walk a little here, let me see, I'm going to walk a bit more, here it's deep' Frazão confirmed in Spanish as he waded through the water. Chillingly, as he takes a step deeper he immediately springs back in panic, rushing out of the river, holding his microphone above the water's surface. 'I found something at the bottom of the water . . . it wasn't soft' he said. Frazão wasn't exactly sure what he'd felt, but he feared the worst and refused to continue the report. 'No, I'm not going, I'm scared. It felt like an arm, could it be her? But it might be a fish too, I don't know.' Following the reporter's eerie experience, divers and firefighters resumed the search for the missing girl on the morning of June 30. Sadly, they soon located the schoolgirl's body, close to where Frazão had been filming. Frazão wasn't exactly sure what he'd felt, but he feared the worst and refused to continue the report. Frazão had emphasised the river's hazardous risks during the start of his report, emphasising its powerful currents and irregular depth created by holes in the riverbed. Accidental drowning was confirmed as the cause of death after a post-mortem examination revealed no evidence of trauma. Raíssa was buried on June 30 according to The Sun.

'Traumatic': Rosie Roche's sudden death at age 20 leaves Royal family in shock as cause of death revealed
Rosie Roche, the 20-year-old second cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, was found dead at her family property earlier this month. Ms Roche, the granddaughter of Princess Diana's uncle Edmund Roche, died at her home in Norton, near Malmesbury in Wiltshire, on July 14. She was reportedly found by her mother and sister while packing for a trip away with friends. A formal investigation has now revealed the cause of death was a 'traumatic head injury.' A firearm was located near her body at the scene. The inquest was formally opened at Wiltshire and Swindon Coroner's Court and adjourned until October 25. According to The Sun, area coroner Grant Davies told the hearing police had "deemed the death as non-suspicious and there was no third-party involvement." Rosie was related to the British royal family through her grandfather Edmund Roche, 5th Baron Fermoy, who was the maternal uncle of Princess Diana. Born on June 21, 2005, Rosie was the eldest child of the Hon (Edmund) Hugh Burke Roche and his wife, Phillipa (Pippa) Roche. She was a bright and talented student who just finished her first year studying English literature at Durham University, she was described by staff and students as full of life, energy and creativity, with a deep love for literature, poetry and travel. Her family also echoed their grief in a statement by the Yorkshire Post on Saturday, July 19, calling her a 'darling daughter' and 'incredible sister'. A spokeswoman said she "will be sorely missed". It's understood a private family funeral will be held for Rosie, with a memorial service to be held at a later date. The heartbreaking news comes months after the death of Thomas Kingston, the husband of royal family member Lady Gabriella Kingston, who died by suicide in February 2024 at the age of 45. Lady Gabriella, 44, is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. An inquest later revealed Mr Kingston had suffered a "traumatic head wound" and that a firearm had been found near his body, with similar conditions to Rosie's death. While Princes William and Harry have not yet released a statement, Rosie's death has sent shockwaves through the family and broader community.
