
EuroMillions players urged to check tickets as location of life-changing win revealed
It's been another win for the country Lotto-wise , as a lucky punter won the half a million windfall after matching all five numbers in the EuroMillions draw on Friday (August 8).

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased in Gala Express, Courtown Harbour, Courtown, Co Wexford. While there was no winner of the €197,504,622 jackpot, over 68,000 people won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draw, including the €500k for the top prize of the Plus draw.
'The seaside town of Courtown in Ireland's sunny South East has produced a top prize winner in the EuroMillions Plus draw worth an astounding €500,000,' National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer said.

This latest win comes as the location was revealed for the winner of a massive €1,005,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle last week, with an online player in Co Sligo being confirmed as the winner.
The winning normal play ticket was purchased on July 19, with the winning raffle number being I-SLF-56168.

This came as a player in Co Louth won the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus, winning €500,000.
