‘You're a snake' – Derek Chisora's explosive row with Dillian Whyte after slamming drugs scandal and Moses Itauma fight
Chisora shared 23 epic rounds with Whyte, losing a controversial split-decision in 2016 before being knocked out by a left hook two years later.

In the years since, the two have become the best of enemies, with their relationship blowing from hot and cold.
But Whyte, 37, was left heated after Chisora, 41, questioned his decision to accept a bout with unbeaten 12-0 prospect Moses Itauma.
And Chisora's stance on doping offenders needing an instant decade-long ban is also said to have fired up Whyte.
Chisora made the claim on SunSport's latest No Glove Lost episode ahead of Whyte's fight against Itauma on Saturday - live on DAZN PPV.

DILL BREAKER Whyte RETIRES if he loses to Itauma, says Chisora after his shock prediction
He said: "I rang him and he didn't answer and then he sent me a voice note saying, 'Why are you ringing me for? You're not my friend, you're a snake, you're trying to take food out of my kids' mouth.'
"But the reason why he's upset is because a couple of months ago I did talkSPORT and I said I think if you get caught cheating in boxing, you should get banned for life because.
"Why should you have a disadvantage on someone else who's woken up every morning, trained hard, but you train less and you inject yourself by something to beat the other guy?
"That's not fair, so that's my thing. I always talk to the Board that if we get someone cheating in the in in boxing they should get banned for like at least ten years."

Whyte was banned for TWO YEARS in 2012 after testing positive for methylhexaneamine (MHA) - known to increase energy.
The stimulant was contained in a pre-workout called Jack3D - which Whyte says he took without knowing it was prohibited.

In July 2019, Whyte then tested positive for an unknown banned substance before his victory over Oscar Rivas - with the bout allowed to go ahead.
But five months later the case was dropped by United Kingdom Anti-Doping in another case of "isolated contamination".
Whyte's third doping case came in 2023 when his big-money rematch with Anthony Joshua - following defeat in 2015 - was scrapped.
Again, the Jamaican-Brit returned an adverse finding and put it down to contamination before he continued his career overseas without serving a ban.
British light-heavyweight Anthony Yarde joined Chisora on the panel and agreed abusers of Performance Enhancing Drugs must be banned.
Yarde was beaten in his 2019 WBO world title challenge to Sergey Kovalev - who tested positive for synthetic testosterone in a separate bout in 2021.
He said: "This is nothing against Dillian but I in terms of people who have been caught or that cheat in boxing, I agree. You should be banned.
"Even looking at my career, this might be a bit personal to me, but Kovalev when I went out to Russia, again I'm a young kid in boxing, I'm a kid.
"I go out to Russia, heart of a lion, gave everything. Then he thought Canelo, he got knocked out and his return fight, he got banned for drugs.
I rang him and he didn't answer and then he sent me a voice note saying, 'Why are you ringing me for? You're not my friend, you're a snake, you're trying to take food out of my kids' mouth.'
Derek Chisora on Dillian Whyte
"Like, how does that make me feel looking at that saying my life could be different? What if I won that fight? These are the kinds of things that go through your head that can break people.
"That can make people think, 'I'm not good enough.' It can ruin someone's career.
"And we're in the hurt business. Boxing's a dangerous sport. If you get found drugs in your system, as Derek said, lifetime ban."
Chisora himself was offered the fight for Itauma - but he turned down the £2million deal to preserve his No1 ranking in the IBF.
But if Whyte rolls back the clock and upsets the odds - Chisora is open for the trilogy bout to close out his 50th and final fight.
He said: "If he wins this one, maybe one more. If he wins this one, I will fight him."
Chisora is actually hoping and picking Whyte to win - with retirement allegedly on the cards if his old pal is beaten.
He said: "Listen, I would love to see Dillian win it. Genuinely, because Dillian is from the old school.
"There's a young buck who's coming in the neighbourhood who's just smoking everybody. I would like to see Dillian win it, it'd be amazing.
"And remember Dillian apparently said, if he gets beat he'll retire after this one. That's the rumour. But I want Dillian to win it."

Arsenal files: Awkward Sky Sports moment in press conference and how Mikel Arteta even helps his players sleep
ARSENAL manager Mikel Arteta got a surprise ahead of his pre-match press conference for Sunday's opening game at Manchester United. Arteta probably thought he was the one catching people off-guard today by arriving for his presser six minutes early. 8 Mikel Arteta was caught off-guard by Sky Sports at his press conference 8 Arteta was greeted by an Arsenal balloon, before being serenaded with a poem Advertisement But Sky Sports reporter Gary Cotterill had other plans. First, he revealed an Arsenal balloon and then used a party blower to make a sound. And then he said: 'I've got a little first question in the form of a new season poem.' Arteta replied: 'Okay, go on.' Advertisement READ MORE IN FOOTBALL FEELING BLUE Emotional Chelsea legend Petr Cech splits from wife after 26 years Cotterill added: 'Arsenal are red, United are too. It's Sky's biggest Premier League season ever. We're excited. Are you?' And then, we were off. Arteta replied: 'I'm super excited. I can't wait. "It's been a really productive pre-season. We made such an evolution in the squad as well, and we're ready to go.' Advertisement BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS WHERE THERE'S A WIL JACK WILSHERE has opted against returning to Arsenal's youth set-up to concentrate on getting a senior role in management and this is absolutely the right decision. And I have no doubt that Wilshere will be a huge success providing he picks the right EFL club and then eventually, will manage in the Premier League. How Mikel Arteta even helps his players sleep 8 Jack Wilshere is not returning as an Arsenal youth coach Credit: Getty 8 He is looking to progress as a manager after a spell at Norwich Credit: Getty Advertisement We should not forget that Wilshere, having quit the game early due to injury, is just 33, so is two years younger than Jordan Henderson. Sunsport revealed earlier this month that Wilshere was a leading candidate to take charge of Arsenal's under-21s with Mehmet Ali having joined Brentford's first-team coaching staff. In July 2022, four days after announcing his retirement from playing, the former England midfielder was announced as the new head coach of Arsenal under-18s and he led them to the final of the 2022-23 FA Youth Cup final. He then left Arsenal last October to take over as first-team coach at Carrow Road and was then interim boss for the last two games of the season before departing. Determined to get back into the game, he was interviewed for the Plymouth manager's job in June but it was given to Tom Cleverley. Advertisement Wilshere was clearly interested in the Arsenal under-21s job but the offer changed with Max Porter, having worked in the club's academy since 2017, being earmarked for that role. Arsenal wanted Wilshere to manage Arsenal's under-19s in the Uefa Youth League and also the EFL Trophy while supporting the under21s. Yet Wilshere, understandably, appeared to feel this job was not a satisfactory progression from his previous Arsenal role. The fact he has overseen the progression of Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman shows you his qualities as a coach. Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri have both spoken about Wilshere being a good influence and he would talk to them in the canteen about how to act off the pitch. Advertisement 8 Wilshere's influence on Arsenal's youngsters has paid dividends for Arteta Credit: Getty 8 He was schooled in the ways of Arsene Wenger and can become a formidable boss Credit: Getty Yet Wilshere, with 34 international caps, is still learning. He is currently taking his Uefa Pro Licence along with experienced managers Dave Challinor and Gareth Ainsworth along with a number of young coaches. Each year, the FA asks a few of us journalists to attend sessions at St George's Park to deliver media training with the coaches taking their UEFA Pro Licence, the top coaching qualification. The likes of Wilshere, so used to dealing with the media, do not really need to do these pretend press conferences where we test the interviewees in fake scenarios. Advertisement Equally, though, some of the coaches taking their badges have never come across the media before so the training is important. Speaking to Wilshere after the session, where he revealed he was training for the London Marathon, he spoke with passion about coaching and seemed really focused. In terms of media training, Arsenal used to do something similar with their young players. I remember one day when the club asked me to speak to some of their youngsters at London Colney, the club were hoping Wilshere would be present but he was unable to make it. He had to play a cup tie for Bolton, where he was on loan. However, during the session, there was a young player who seemed incredibly bright and really inquisitive. Advertisement I asked who this confident youngster was. The Arsenal press officer told me: 'He is from Poland. His name is Wojciech.' Szczesny has also gone on to have a great career and while Wilshere's was cut short through no fault of his own, I am sure he has many years left in the game as a manager. 8 Arsenal fans will be treated to chartered trains for away games Credit: Getty TRAINING DAY FAIR play to Arsenal for going old school as they plan to lay on chartered trains for some away games this season. This is because fans will find it difficult to get home from some games using public transport. Advertisement Many of the big clubs are criticised for not helping out fans but when teams go the extra mile, they should be applauded. ART OF THE NAP MIKEL ARTETA isn't sleeping on the job in north London. That's because the Arsenal boss has hired a specialist to help his stars maximise the effectiveness of their snoozes. Arteta believes sleep is the key to recovery after a tough match. 8 Arteta has hired a sleep specialist to help his players nap better Credit: Getty Advertisement He felt a specialist was needed to educate staff and players at Arsenal on the benefits of a solid kip. Arteta told Men in Blazers: 'I have a specialist, I brought one in many years ago. Not just for myself but for the staff and players because it's sleep… 'We have so much education on diet, what to eat, when to eat, what is healthy or unhealthy, but with sleep there's still not enough education. 'For me it is the most fundamental part of the quality of your health.' With sleep at the forefront of Arsenal's plans for the season, maybe they should rename their beloved dinosaur mascot 'Gunnersnore-us'...

Lerone Murphy to ‘let it all go' against Aaron Pico at UFC 319 to convince Dana White & Co. to give him title shot
The Brit has had just three weeks to prepare for the biggest fight of his career 'TITLE WORTHY' Lerone Murphy to 'let it all go' against Aaron Pico at UFC 319 to convince Dana White & Co. to give him title shot LERONE MURPHY admits he'll have to be the "BEST" he's ever been against Aaron Pico to convince Dana White and Co. that he deserves a shot at the featherweight title. The Manchester 'Miracle' returns to the cage early on Sunday morning in the co-main event of a stacked UFC 319 card in Chicago. 8 Brit Lerone Murphy returns to the octagon this weekend Credit: GETTY 8 The Manchester mauler will be in action on a stacked UFC 319 card in Chicago Credit: Getty Advertisement 8 Murphy faces former Bellator star Aaron Pico in the co-main event of the evening Credit: GETTY 8 He hopes to punch his ticket to a title shot with a statement-making win Credit: GETTY Murphy will put his eight-fight win streak, unbeaten record and his No.6 ranking on the line when he welcomes the Bellator veteran to mixed martial arts' premier promotion. And he knows he needs to make a statement against the former super-prospect to make himself the undeniable next contender for Alexander Volkanovski's 145lbs strap. Advertisement In an exclusive interview with SunSport, he said: "It's a massive spot, UFC 319. "You've got Khamzat Chimaev in the main event against Dricus Du Plessis, which is a big fight as well. Advertisement Pico was initially set to face the undefeated Movsar Evloev in a No.1 contender's match before the Russian was forced to withdraw from their showdown. "And if I'm the replacement and I go out and beat Aaron Pico, it only makes sense. Advertisement "I'll be 17-0 and will have overlapped Movsar because he didn't take the fight when he could have taken the fight. So all fingers point in the direction of the champion from there." Brit Lerone Murphy eyes UFC title shot with win over Josh Emmett Even if he doesn't get his hand raised after a viral stoppage, Murphy believes matchmakers should reward his near-perfect octagon run with the chance to become the UK's fourth-ever UFC champion. "If you don't win the fight [by finish], it shouldn't mean you don't get a title shot," he said. "There have been plenty of guys who have done that. "The Max Holloways [of the world], they didn't always finish fights. "Volkanovski didn't always finish fights. It's only once they became champions that they started to finish fights. Advertisement "I'm not a casual, I like to watch pure MMA. So if somebody is good, is going to look good and is entertaining to watch, then why can't they be champion?" Murphy may believe he's in the ideal spot to stake a claim for a title shot, but the risk-to-reward ratio for his short-notice Chi-Town clash with Pico is incredibly high. A maiden defeat will see the Manchester Top Team standout go back to the drawing board and start his pursuit of UFC gold all over again. A sensational stoppage or a one-sided display, meanwhile, will prompt the often vocal minority of fans to claim he "fraud checked" long-hyped prospect Pico. But Murphy could care little about the outside noise, unless it's fans clamouring for him to get a crack at 145lbs gold. Advertisement He said: "The casuals are always going to find something to say, regardless of anything. "I could go out there and KO Volkanovski in ten seconds, and they're going to say, 'He's past his prime.' I have to let it all go, be myself and show everybody that I'm a title worthy." Lerone Murphy 8 Lerone Murphy believes Aaron Pico will be the toughest test of his career Credit: GETTY 8 Murphy is still in the ranks of the undefeated and boasts a near-perfect UFC record Credit: Getty "There's always something that they're going to pick at. So I don't watch anything like that." Advertisement He added: "People are always going to create narratives that they're going to follow. "I never look at that, I just follow in my journey and do my thing." California clubber Pico was once one of the hottest prospects in MMA before vicious back-to-back knockout losses to Henry Corrales and Adam Borics derailed his hype train. The 28-year-old former Junior Golden Gloves champion has done a brilliant job rebuilding himself, losing just one of his last ten fights. "I think I'm fighting the best Aaron Pico there has been," Murphy said of his latest challenge. "Obviously, in the early days, that was him transitioning into MMA from wrestling and boxing. Advertisement 8 Lerone Murphy knows he needs to put on a showing to convince Dana White and Co. to give him a title shot Credit: GETTY "So he was still putting it together. "Right now, he's got the experience, and I'm fighting the best Aaron Pico." He added: "It's going to be a full MMA match. I've got to be dangerous everywhere and be aware everywhere. Obviously, he can wrestle and he can box. "I'm going to be looking for submissions, I'm going to be looking to time him on the way in. Advertisement "There is plenty of opportunity which comes with his style and plenty of dangers, obviously. "So I've got to the best version of me."
