Edinburgh family join Channel 5's the Radfords on second Florida holiday in a month
An Edinburgh family have joined Channel 5's the Radfords on another holiday to Florida after spotting bargain flights just weeks after returning from the States.
The Walker family, who are good friends with Sue and Noel Radford - Britain's largest family - recently joined them on a dream holiday to Orlando for Sue Radford's 50th birthday.
The family of nine also showed their followers on Facebook and YouTube the luxury villa they were staying in during the holiday as well as pictures of other attractions they visited.

When they returned to the UK, the two families visited Liverpool and both Sue and Rebecca Walker spotted cheap flights to Florida via TUI and decided to go ahead and book them once Jamie and Noel agreed - which Rebecca joked was "completely unheard of."

On the Walker family Facebook blog she wrote: "While in Liverpool, we found these cheap flights. Sue & I asked Jamie and Noel about them and they told us to book them which is completely unheard of for them.
"Anyway it was too good a bargain and actually cheaper then Spain, so here we are in Florida four weeks after we left in April. We are looking for fun free things to do, so if anyone has any ideas please share them."
Rebecca added a screenshot to the post which shows the flights came in at just £190 per person for the return journey.
In another post the family thanked TUI staff for going "above and beyond" to accommodate the large families and added check-in was "a breeze" following a few issues on the way to Florida in April.
During their visit so far both families have enjoyed a day out to the Everglades Alligator Farm. You can keep up to date with the Walker family on Facebook here.

Rock and Roll Yard Sale finds new home in Providence's West End
PROVIDENCE (WPRI) — Providence's beloved Rock and Roll Yard Sale, an open-air market and neighborhood block party, will return this Saturday in the city's West End. The event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on West Fountain Street, with new sponsors Moniker Brewery and the West Broadway Neighborhood Association. It will feature live music, food, vintage dealers, records, and other interesting creations from local makers. 'It should be fun. It's a unique event,' Jennifer Daltry told 12 News. 'There are a lot of events that are either vintage focused or makers focused, and ours kind of has a good mix of all of it.' Organizers Chris and Jennifer Daltry, who own the online retail shop What Cheer? Records + Vintage, have been putting on the event since 2003. 'We were just thinking about how there really isn't anything like this in Providence, and maybe we could create something like this,' Jennifer Daltry said. PVDFest returns Sept. 5-6: Here's what's in store Over the past 22 years, they've seen the event go from humble beginnings at AS220 to its most recent incarnation on Westminster Street that annually drew thousands to downtown Providence. Earlier this year, the Rock and Roll Yard Sale appeared to be in jeopardy after the couple learned that the event's main sponsor no longer wanted to support it. They credit a social media post highlighting their dilemma with bringing them both a new sponsor and a new neighborhood to embrace. 'People reached out, including Moniker,' Jennifer Daltry said. 'We started to have meetings with Moniker. They brought in West Broadway Neighborhood Association, and it grew from there.' 'It's been a really good collaboration this time around with the West Broadway Neighborhood Association stepping in to help out and create kind of a neighborhood party,' Chris Daltry said. 'It feels like a good fit.' You can find more information about the Rock and Roll Yard Sale both on Facebook and Instagram. Download the and apps to get breaking news and weather alerts. Meta sued by Eminem's publishing company over alleged copyright infringement
Eight Mile Style, a company that owns some of Eminem's most popular songs, is suing social media giant Meta over alleged copyright infringement. The lawsuit, filed in a federal court in Michigan, accuses the Menlo Park-based tech company of storing, reproducing and distributing Eminem's music without obtaining the license to do so. Eight Mile Style, which is based in Ferndale, Mich., is seeking at least $109 million from Meta and a court order to stop several alleged forms of copyright infringement. Music is a big part of social media. On Meta's platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, people add music in photos and videos they share publicly or with their friends and family. But the way social media has changed the way people listen to and discover new songs has also sparked concerns from artists about whether they're fairly compensated. "Meta's years-long and ongoing infringement of the Eight Mile Compositions is another case of a trillion (with a 'T') dollar company exploiting the creative efforts of musical artists for the obscene monetary benefit of its executives and shareholders without a license and without regard to the rights of the owners of the intellectual property," the lawsuit said. Meta said in a statement that it has licenses with thousands of partners globally and an "extensive" global licensing programs for music on its platforms. "Meta had been negotiating in good faith with Eight Mile Style, but rather than continue those discussions, Eight Mile Style chose to sue," the company said in an email. Eight Mile Style owns and controls 243 compositions recorded by Eminem, a rapper and music producer that has created popular hits such as "Lose Yourself." Meta did remove some of these songs including "Lose Yourself" from its music libraries, but other versions of the music including a piano instrumental cover and a karaoke version still remain on the platform, according to the lawsuit. Meta not only allowed users who upload these songs to infringe on copyright but knowingly stored and reproduced them in its music libraries so users can use the music in videos and photos, the lawsuit alleges. Users have added Eminem's music in millions of videos that have been viewed billions of times, according to the lawsuit. Meta also unsuccessfully tried to obtain a license for Eminem's songs as part of negotiations with the digital music royalty company Audiam even though the firm didn't have the authority to give them that license. "Meta executives have actively encouraged such rampant infringement in order to attract as many users as possible to, among other things, make advertising on their services more profitable for themselves," the lawsuit said. More than 3 billion people use one of Meta's apps daily, and the company makes billions of dollars every quarter from advertising. In the first three months of this year, Meta's revenue reached $42.31 billion, an increase of 16% year-over-year. The company's net income jumped by 35% to $16.6 billion in the first quarter. This isn't the first time Meta has faced legal issues over the use of Eminem's music. In 2013, Eight Mile Style sued Facebook, alleging the social network used the Eminem song "Under the Influence" for an ad without their consent. Copyright (C) 2025, Tribune Content Agency, LLC.
