The NBA Finals heads to Indiana for Game 3 and what should be a raucous crowd.
The Pacers have demonstrated they are a tough team and won't bow down to the heavily favored Thunder.
Indy is a 5.5-point home underdog with a total of 228.5.
Personally, I think it is a tough handicap as I expect the Pacers to respond to a convincing loss and OKC tends to be a mixed bag on the road. I am unsure which version we will get.
However, I do think the proposition betting market offers a few good opportunities.
Chet Holmgren has cashed the Under for his rebounds prop in seven straight games, dating back to the Western Conference finals, and I was close to going back to the well again for Game 3.
However, OKC has adjusted its starting lineup in this series and I am a bit reluctant.
Isaiah Hartenstein normally starts but has been relegated to a bench role so far against Indiana. Nonetheless, he has cashed the Over for his rebounding prop in both games and I was close to making that another play.

Then again, the game script does not necessarily favor OKC and his reduced minutes give me pause. Thus, I am holding my powder.
But I do think we have value with Hartenstein's points. His prop sits at 7.5 and the Under feels like a strong play. He scored nine points in the opener and then three points in Game 2.
In my eyes, the Game 1 output was a total outlier.
Betting on the NBA?
Hartenstein's natural behavior is to set perimeter screens or feed teammates with his strong passing ability. And sometimes he combines those two actions with a handoff to a curling teammate, as he sets a screen around the 3-point line. This is not a guy who looks much for his shot unless the shot clock is winding down or he has putback opportunities.
I have a 49-40-1 ATS record in this Post sports section.
My next play is Hartenstein Under 7.5 points (-110, FanDuel Sportsbook) in Game 3.

Pacers unveil special concession foods for remaining home Finals games
Exciting things are happening at Gainbridge Fieldhouse these days. The Indiana Pacers are competing for their first NBA championship in franchise history, sure, but perhaps just as importantly, spectators at Gainbridge Fieldhouse can chow down on some special concession items to mark the historic occasion. The Pacers and food partner Levy Restaurants on June 12 unveiled six special dishes that will be available at Game 4 of the NBA Finals versus the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday (and, if necessary, Game 6 on June 19). Levy Restaurants executive chef Charles Humphreys said the limited-edition concessions will only be available for the Pacers' remaining Finals home games. A taste of these stadium bites essentially requires one of the city's priciest passes, with Game 4 tickets fetching around $850 to $3,000 on Ticketmaster. These are the special concessions items to look out for if you manage to snag an in-person view of the Pacers' title push and have some discretionary income remaining. The Boomer Stacker This monument to the meat and dairy industries features two smashed hamburger patties, a small fried pork tenderloin, double sharp cheddar cheese, bacon strips, fried onions and a drizzle of barbecue ranch. Indiana Porkster If you didn't know Indiana is one of the nation's biggest pork producers, this behemoth on a bun should erase any doubt. Pig appears in four different forms on the Indiana Porkster, piling a fried tenderloin atop bratwurst simmered in Sun King Osiris Pale Ale, thick-cut bacon and a bacon onion jam, plus a drizzle of whole grain mustard. Ahi tuna poke nachos Humphreys' personal favorite dish features nacho-shaped wontons, truffle Sriracha aioli, green onion and toasted sesame seed with soft cubes of raw ahi tuna. Three Point Combo Play A foot-long garlic butter toasted baguette is topped with chicken parmesan, meatballs, Provolone cheese and pomodoro, plus Italian beef and provolone cheese. Bone-in short rib sandwich Short rib smoked for 10 hours receives a sweet barbecue glaze, bread and butter pickles and apple cider vinegar slaw. Notably, despite the sandwich's name, the bone is removed before being served. Have the Pacers ever won the NBA championship? Indiana's ABA title history
The Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the NBA Finals and lead the best-of-seven series, 2-1. With the Pacers two wins away from a championship, what is Indiana's title history? This is what you should know: The Pacers have made the NBA Finals twice, but they have yet to win an NBA championship. Indiana made the finals in 2000 but lost to Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, 4-2. It marked the Lakers' first of three straight titles with Phil Jackson as coach. This year marks the Pacers' second trip to the finals. While Indiana hasn't appeared in the NBA Finals frequently, they have made it to the Eastern Conference Finals on 10 occasions (1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2013, 2014, 2024, 2025). Re-live the Pacers unbelievable run to the NBA Finals in IndyStar's commemorative book Before moving to the NBA in 1976, the Pacers played in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for nine seasons (1967-76).
