'9-1-1' Spinoff Set In Nashville Gets ABC Series Order For 2025-26 Season
Cheryl Burke Signs First-Look Deal With ABC
It's not uncommon to see crossovers on Murphy's shows, such as 9-1-1's Oliver Stark (Buck), Aisha Hinds (Hen), and Ryan Guzman (Eddie) guest-starring on an episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star. Murphy's American Horror Story also featured characters from various seasons seen in other installments. But this marks the first time that a Murphy crossover occurs between two series in different franchises.
It also follows ABC's announcement that a new 9-1-1 spinoff set in Nashville has been ordered for the 2025-26 season.
Both 9-1-1 and Doctor Odyssey make their midseason returns on Thursday, March 6.
Deadline's sister site Variety was first to report the news.

Andy Cohen Says Huda Mustafa's Confrontation With Chelley Bissainthe And Olandria Carthen At The ‘Love Island USA' Reunion Was 'Dramatic'
Andy Cohen is teasing some drama that went down at the Love Island USA Season 7 reunion. On Wednesday night's (Aug. 13) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Cohen welcomed Season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, as well as runner-ups Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe to the Bravo Clubhouse — just one day after he and Ariana Madix co-hosted the highly anticipated reunion, which is airing on Peacock on Aug. 25. While he didn't give too much away about the reunion, Cohen did reveal that Carthen and Chelley Bissainthe came face-to-face with Huda Mustafa for the first time since they left the villa last month. 'I thought it was interesting that you and Chelley saw Huda for the first time since you left the villa, I think,' Cohen said to Carthen. 'That was pretty dramatic.' There have been a lot of rumors swirling about Mustafa's friendships with the other girls since leaving the villa. While Mustafa is still close with Espinal, some fans noticed that Carthen and Bissainthe both unfollowed her on Instagram after she claimed she felt 'bullied' in several interviews. 'I was trying to navigate the sisterhood thing while doing challenges. Everyone's telling me 'it's just a challenge,'' she told Variety in a July interview. 'People are kissing other people outside of challenges, and everyone's OK with it. I'm doing challenges, and they're giving me side-eye looks and making faces at me.' 'I felt like I was bullied in there 1000%. I felt like I was bullied in the villa,' she continued. 'I'd mentioned this so many times, and we never talked about it. Now out of the villa, I wasn't crazy. I was right about being bullied.' Mustafa was likely referring to the heart rate challenge, during which the Islanders had to perform provocative dances on one another to raise their heart rates. The North Carolina native came under fire for the way she seductively danced on Ace Greene, who was in a couple with Bissainthe. There were even rumors that Mustafa sat on Greene's face in a cut-out moment, which will we find out at the reunion, according to Cohen. 'We showed the extended version of the heart rate challenge, which was revelatory to the group,' he said. 'So, you can look forward to that on the Love Island reunion.' Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Two of Willis' daughters with Oscar nominee Demi Moore responded to the post. Rumer Willis wrote, "Love you Emma, you are magic 321 and papa he loves you so much," while Tallulah Willis commented, "321. I love you guys so much." Bruce has largely stepped away from the public eye in recent years amid his battle with dementia, but he received an outpouring of love from his wife, daughters, and ex-wife Demi Moore, who remains a close friend, on his milestone 70th birthday. Michelle Yeoh teases new songs coming in 'Wicked: For Good'
Michelle Yeoh is giving "Wicked" fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel. In a recent interview with People, the Oscar-winning actress, who plays Madame Morrible, hinted at what audiences can expect in "Wicked: For Good," which will arrive on Nov. 21. "I think you're getting some new songs," Yeoh teased, before joking, "I didn't say that." Fans of the Broadway show's beloved soundtrack won't be disappointed as Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the music and lyrics for the stage production, has previously confirmed he composed two new songs specifically for the film. "I have permission to say there are two new songs in the movie because the storytelling demanded it. One of them happens to be for the character of Elphaba. The other one happens to be for the character of Glinda," Schwartz told the outlet in June. Yeoh also shared that she and her castmates have remained close long after filming wrapped. "I was just at Hollywood Bowl [for] Cynthia," she said, referencing Cynthia Erivo's performance in "Jesus Christ Superstar." "I love her. She was so amazing." In June, fans got a special first look at the film's trailer, which featured Erivo and Ariana Grande reprising their roles as Elphaba and Glinda. Directed once again by Jon M. Chu, "Wicked: For Good" picks up with the two characters estranged and follows their journey to repair their friendship in order to save Oz for good. The film also stars Jeff Goldblum as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Yeoh as Madame Morrible. The first "Wicked" film earned 10 Oscar nominations at the 97th Academy Awards and won two, including best costume design and best production design. Erivo received a best actress nomination, while Grande was nominated for best supporting actress. "Wicked: For Good" hits theaters Nov. 21, 2025.
