Pakistani Actor Humaira Asghar Died Nine Months Ago; Shocking New Details Out
Officials have also revealed that electricity of Humaira's house was also disconnected in October 2024 due to non-payment of bills.
In a big twist in the death of the Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar, it has now been reported that even though her body was found in her Karachi apartment this week, she died approximately nine months ago. If a recent report by Arab News is to be believed, Humaira passed away in October 2024.
Therefore, her body was found in an 'advanced stage of decomposition" earlier this week. Reportedly, Karachi Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, who conducted the post-mortem of the actress, has also confirmed the same.
'As per Call Detail Record (CDR) the last call was made in October 2024," Deputy Inspector General of Police Syed Asad Raza told the publication.
Besides this, the report also claims that even her neighbours had seen her in September or October last year. The official also noted that the only other apartment on her floor was unoccupied and therefore, neighbours did not notice any odour.
Not just this, officials also revealed that electricity of Humaira's house was also disconnected in October 2024 due to non-payment of bills. 'Humaira's body is likely nine months old. She probably died between paying her last utility bills and when her electricity was disconnected in October 2024, probably due to non-payment of the bill," one of the officials said.
Another official also revealed that the food in the actress' home had also been expired for months. 'The jars had rusted, and food had expired six months ago," the official said.

‘Crying To Amazon': Parents Wake Up To Rs 2.5 Lakh Amazon Bill. Courtesy: 5-Year-Old Son
The kid's order list seems no less than a Christmas list for Santa as it included a baby toy car, a bike and some other gaming stuff. Remember Ranveer Singh's dialogue from Padmaavat, 'Yeh Tohfa Humne Khud Ko Diya Hai?" Well, it looks like this 5-year-old boy took it really personally and spent around USD 3000 (nearly Rs 2.5 lakh) on an online shopping platform. Yes! You read that right. According to the New York Post, the parents of the toddler were left in shock after looking at their Amazon order history. A video, shared by the kid's Mother on TikTok, depicted the parents who were taken aback and questioned their son, who sat on the couch between his brother and sister unconcerned, about how he managed to rack up such a high bill. 'You bought seven cars on Amazon. You spent over USD 3,000 on Amazon today. How did you do that? You are in so much trouble," said the father. The kid's order list seems no less than a Christmas list for Santa as it included a baby toy car, a bike and some other gaming stuff. Well, things are not just over yet, as he also had another USD 700 (around Rs 60,000) worth of items ready in his cart that he unfortunately couldn't order as his parents caught him. The video caption read, 'And casually had another USD 700 of items in the cart ready to check out with before we caught him. I'm currently on the phone crying to Amazon – my husband is on the phone crying with our bank." This is not the first time something like this has grabbed the eyeballs. Earlier, a 5-year-old girl spent almost USD 4000 on a purchase on Amazon, giving her mother sticker shock. Lila Varisco of Westport, Massachusetts, was in a car with her family when she asked her mother, Jessica Nunes, to use her cell phone. Allowing her daughter to use it without keeping an eye on her turned out to be a big mistake. Thanks to the order track alerts, the woman got to know about her Amazon Shipment. However, she later discovered her credit card had been charged a total of USD 3,922 (around Rs 3.3 Lakh). Her order list included 10 children's dirt bikes and a children's two-seat ride-on Jeep (a treat for herself and her 2-year-old brother), which totalled USD 3,179. The girl also purchased 10 pairs of white cowgirl boots in women's size 7 for USD 743. view comments First Published: July 14, 2025, 11:11 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. At the centre of this heartwarming scene is Moosewala's high-energy track GOAT, a fan favourite known for its infectious vibe. But this time, the spotlight isn't solely on the song; it's on a father and his tiny dancing partner. The video was posted on Instagram by content creator Tayo Ricci. In the video, Tayo is seen standing casually. But right beside him, inside a baby walker, is his little daughter. Tayo begins the video with, 'I'm not a Punjabi but…" and then taps on his phone to play Sidhu Moosewala's GOAT. What happens next is an instant mood-lifter. The moment the beat kicks in, his daughter's reaction is completely priceless. She begins bouncing up and down in her walker with full enthusiasm which shows that she is clearly thrilled by the music. And it's not just the baby stealing the show. Tayo is seen singing the lyrics and matching the beat like a true fan. The bond between the two is simply adorable to watch. Tayo captioned the video with, 'How did we do?" In no time, the video collected more than six million views. The comments started flooding in with users, especially from India, who showed their love for the father-daughter duo. One user commented, 'You don't know what you are singing and what it means for Punjab. It's not just song, it's a VIBE." Another, clearly taken in by the baby's excitement, wrote, 'All likes go to the jumping kid." Someone else labelled it 'Best video ever," while a person added, 'The best part is even the little one is enjoying it." 'She's more Punjabi than me," 'You are eligible for Aadhar card", and 'The kid identifies himself as Punjabi" were some other fun remarks. Tayo Ricci and OnlyFans model Scarlet Vas, who is also his stepsister, welcomed their baby girl on December 25 last year. The couple announced her arrival through an Instagram post that featured glimpses of their newborn daughter at the hospital. view comments First Published: July 14, 2025, 10:20 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. 'Admissible As Evidence': SC Sets Aside Ruling On Secretly Recorded Conversation Of Spouse
Last Updated: The Supreme Court on Monday overturned a Punjab and Haryana High Court order that termed recording a wife's phone calls without her consent a violation of privacy. The Supreme Court on Monday set aside a Punjab and Haryana High Court's judgment, holding that recording a wife's telephonic conversation without her knowledge or consent amounts to a 'clear breach" of her fundamental right of privacy. The High Court had also observed that such recordings cannot be admitted in evidence before a family court. A bench of Justice BV Nagarathna and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma thus held that a secretly recorded telephonic conversation of the spouse is admissible as evidence in matrimonial proceedings. 'Some arguments have been made that permitting such evidence would jeopardise domestic harmony and matrimonial relationships as it would encourage snooping on the spouses, therefore, infringing the objective of section 122 of the Evidence Act." 'We don't think such an argument is tenable. If the marriage has reached a stage where spouses are actively snooping on each other, that is in itself a symptom of a broken relationship and denotes a lack of trust between them," the bench observed while pronouncing the judgment. The remarks by the top court came after a Special Leave Petition (SLP) challenged the Punjab and Haryana High Court's decision. view comments First Published: July 14, 2025, 11:12 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
