Samantha recalls 'shaking' on Oo Antava sets: Who thinks of me for a special song?
Actor Samantha says she was 'shaking' out of nervousness on the sets of the 'Pushpa' song 'Oo Antava' because she had not done anything like that before. In an interview recently, she once again opened up on her experience of shooting the song in front of '500 junior artistes'. The 38-year-old also said she was surprised about performing a dance number because people often didn't think of her looking 'really hot' when she was popular for her 'girl-next-door' roles.advertisementSamantha told Gallata Plus: "As much as people love to think that I do things to make statements for other people, I do it to challenge myself. Throughout my life, I have never considered myself a good-looking, hot woman. I think 'Oo Antava' was an opportunity for me to see if I could fake it and pull it off."She added that she took that dance number alongside Allu Arjun as a 'challenge'. "I had never done that before. So it was honestly a challenge to myself, and I was only going to do it once because I just accepted it as a challenge," she said.
Samantha explained, "Who thinks of me for a special song, and that too, one in which I had to look really hot? I was always playing the cute, bubbly, girl-next-door. It wasn't about the dance, it was about the attitude - the fierce, confident woman who is always comfortable in her sexuality - all of these, which I am not."advertisementThe actor further shared that she looked at it as an opportunity and immediately grabbed it even when she was extremely nervous about it. "People around me said, absolutely not. I was like, I liked the lyrics, I just felt nobody had offered me something like this before, and I looked at it as an opportunity. I was shaking in front of 500 junior artists before the first shot. I was so nervous," she concluded. Samantha danced her heart out, looked sensuous, and performed well with Allu Arjun's Pushpa in the number. It topped the chartbusters' lists everywhere that year, and remains one of the most talked-about dance numbers in a pan-India film.Must Watch

After Deepika Padukone, Allu Arjun Removed From Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Film?
Last Updated: Allu Arjun will soon be sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone in Atlee's next film, which is tentatively titled AA22xA6. Allu Arjun has reportedly been ousted from Sidhu Moose Wala's next film. If a recent report by is to be believed, the Telugu superstar had signed a movie with the Animal director last year. However, insiders now claim that the film has been put on hold and Allu Arjun has been removed from it. While there is no official confirmation to this as of now, the report also claims that Jr NTR is likely to replace Allu Arjun in this movie. Interestingly, this comes weeks after Sandeep Reddy Vanga also removed Deepika Padukone from Prabhas starrer Spirit. Reports suggest that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film's profits, did not sit well with director Vanga. Deepika, a new mother, is reportedly seeking to balance her work and personal life by reducing her working hours. Vanga also took to his X handle and slammed Deepika by accusing her of playing 'dirty PR games'. 'When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are…Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it," Vanga wrote and then added, 'Aisa karo…. Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames. I like this kahawath very much 🙂 खुंदक में बिल्ली खंबा नोचे !" Meanwhile, Allu Arjun will soon be sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone in Atlee's next film, which is tentatively titled AA22xA6. While early rumours hinted that the film might feature a two-hero storyline, Allu Arjun's team recently clarified that the actor will be seen in dual roles, adding another intriguing layer to the film's narrative.
