Habit Burger & Grill's Trucks Journey 1,950 Miles, Serve 3,000 Free Double Charburgers on Epic #1 Burger Fan Search
IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 10, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Legends are born of whispers and wild hunches. When word spread of the #1 burger fan lurking among the football fan crowds of New Orleans, Habit Burger & Grill launched an unprecedented mission. Just weeks after serving first responders during the L.A. fires, their food truck team loaded up their #1-ranked Double Charburger* and headed east, trading the California coast for the heart of football festivities in search of America's #1 burger fan.
What followed was an epic burger manhunt: diesel engines humming across 1,950 miles of desert highways, roadside diners, and endless possibilities. When the trucks finally rolled into New Orleans, they carried more than food—they carried an obsession to get the #1-ranked burger into the hands of America's #1 burger fan.
From die-hard football fanatics to joyful locals and hard-working police officers and security teams… and even NFL legends like Isaac Rochell and Braxton Berrios, the California-born burger created an unexpected frenzy. The truck team's momentum carried them straight into the Sports Illustrated Party full of VIPs, where they served their free Double Char until 3:30 a.m.
"The response was absolutely electric," said Jack Lettenmair, Habit's Director of Marketing Strategy, and the weekend's impromptu Chief Burger Ambassador. "We even attended the big game with a gentleman who looked remarkably similar to a certain legendary NFL coach—and let's just say he knew his way around a Double Char. I feel like we almost found our #1 burger fan. Almost."
Lettenmair, joined by social creators Michael DiCostanzo, Mackenzie Dimatteo, Alisha Marie, Zane Hijazi, and Almost Andy Reid, took to the streets with unbridled enthusiasm, bullhorn in hand, turning the French Quarter into an impromptu burger festival.
"I've lost my voice, and this bullhorn has officially become an extension of my arm," Lettenmair laughed, "but seeing thousands of people discover the #1 burger in America made it all worth it.'
The burger celebration may have concluded, but Habit Burger & Grill's mission to unite the #1-ranked Double Char with America's #1 burger fan continues.
"This weekend proved what we've always known," Lettenmair added. "Nothing hits the spot like a Charburger, no matter who you are or where you are—even if we have to drive 1,950 miles to make it happen. We'll never give up until we find the true #1 burger fan.'
Somewhere in America, The One awaits—unaware that their perfect burger is searching for them.

Pamela Anderson's Dating History—from Tommy Lee to Liam Neeson

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." As you're likely well aware, Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are newly dating and it's completely adorable. Especially since Pamela has been through a lot when it comes to relationships. For those of you who haven't a) read her memoir, b) watched her Netflix doc, or c) binge-watched Pam & Tommy, here's a look at Pamela's complete (verified—no rumors here) dating history. Scott Baio: 1990 to 1993 Pamela and Scott dated for about three years in the early 90s, and even almost got engaged. Mostly, Scott got caught up in a romantic moment. As he put it in 2007, "Don't ever take a shower with a woman, because you'll probably end up proposing to her. There was a lot of soap, and I was making a speech, but my entire being was going, 'What are you doing? Shut up!' But I didn't stop." Bret Michaels: 1993 to 1994 Pamela and the Poison frontman dated for a minute, and allegedly split due to Bret's, shall we say, disinterest in monogamy. Kelly Slater: ~1994 to 1995 Professional surfer Kelly Slater met Pamela on set of Baywatch and they fell hard. She gushed about him in her Netflix doc, saying "He was such a sweetheart to me and so good to me. Kelly and I dated all the time. Between lots of boyfriends and lots of girlfriends for him, too, but it wasn't just me. He definitely was a heartbreaker. He was a free spirit." Tommy Lee: 1994 to 1998 Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson met at a club on New Year's Eve. Here's what Tommy had to say about the moment in his memoir, Tommyland, "I went out with some of my best bros to a club…Suddenly, a waitress came over and said, 'Tommy, here's a shot of Goldschläger. It's for you, from Pamela Anderson.' I pushed my way into [her] booth, slid over her girlfriends' laps and forced myself a space right next to her. Then I grabbed her face and just licked the side of it, from chin to temple." Wow. A move. Anyway, these two started dating in February, Tommy Lee followed Pamela to Cancun for a photoshoot, and he popped the question three days into the trip. The next day, they got married. Though technically Pamela was still dating Kelly. "I was dating Kelly Slater at the time, and I was supposed to go see him in Florida and meet his family," she said in her Netflix doc. "My first phone call was to him to tell him I was married. He's like, 'What?!' That was horrible.'" Pam and Tommy went on honeymoon that summer and filmed an intimate video that ended up being stolen, sold, and published without their permission. Amid the aftershocks of that trauma, Pamela welcomed the couple's first son, Brandon, and then their second son, Dylan, in 1997. The couple divorced in 1998 after Tommy was arrested and charged with spousal abuse, but they got back together a few times over the years. Marcus Schenkenberg: 2000 to 2001 Pam and Swedish model Marcus Schenkenberg dated for under a year after meeting due to a bird from a toilet in Monaco? You know what, sure. Kid Rock: 2001 to 2006 Pamela and Kid Rock (aka Bob Ritchie) married in 2006 after dating for five years, and broke up just a few months later—after a screening of Borat. Per Pamela's memoir, "Lots of important industry people were there—Steven Spielberg, Rick Rubin, Laird Hamilton and his wife, Gabby Reece. I didn't tell Bob I was in the movie, because I wanted to surprise him. I forgot about the part in the film that referenced the 'sex tape.' Bob stormed out, calling me a whore and worse." She added, "We broke up. I didn't stay in touch with Bob."Love, Pamela: A Memoir $18.99 at Rick Salomon: 2007 Pamela and Rick married in October 2007, split ten weeks later, got back together, and ended up having their marriage annulled in March 2008. Your favorite circa 2025 celebrity rollercoaster relationship could never. Rick Salomon: 2014 Pamela and Rick got back together, married in January 2014, and then broke up again that summer (their divorce went through in 2015). "We were only married a few months, it was annulled, but we were still friends," Pam said in her Netflix doc, per the Post. "When he got sober, and was sober for years, we decided to try it again.... It didn't last long either." Julian Assange: Circa 2017 Pamela was spotted visiting Julian at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London (where he was seeking asylum) back in 2017, and wrote about their burgeoning relationship in her blog. As she put it, "My relationship with Julian—it's no secret. He is one of my favorite people." She also called him "sexy." Adil Rami: 2017 to 2019 Pamela dated French soccer player Adil Rami for a couple years—and apparently Adil even proposed to Pamela. They broke up after she claimed he was cheating on her (which he denied). Jon Peters: 2020 Pam and Jon got "married" (it was never official), but said "marriage" only lasted 12 days before they split. The pair remained friends, and Pamela told Variety in 2023 "He's great and has been a huge influence on my life. I love him to death." Meanwhile Peters added 'I will always love Pamela, always in my heart. As a matter of fact, I left her $10 million in my will. And she doesn't even know that. Nobody knows that. I'm just saying it for the first time with you. I probably shouldn't be saying it. So that's for her, whether she needs it or not." Dan Hayhurst: 2020 to 2022 Pamela fell for her builder, Dan Hayhurst, while he was renovating her house. But it was super short lived, and Pamela told The Sunday Times that it "was stupid," adding that the marriage "was worse than any of them. And I realized, 'Oh my God, I'm caught up in this whole thing, what am I doing?' It just struck me, this is another disaster.... I was paying for everything, cooking, cleaning for everybody. And so I just got out of it as soon as I could." Liam Neeson: 2025 Pam and Liam met on the set of their film The Naked Gun, and started dating during the press tour. Pamela Anderson reveals 'chemistry' with Liam Neeson and admits 'love' for him

Pamela Anderson's career renaissance is continuing apace, as she's currently starring alongside Hollywood heavyweight Liam Neeson in the quirky comic franchise reboot, The Naked Gun . A sequel to the original trilogy, Northern Irish star Liam plays Lt Frank Drebin Jr, son of Leslie Nielsen's legendary bumbling lawman, while Baywatch icon Pamela plays Beth, who turns to Frank for help in catching her brother's killer. Comedy moments aside (one montage involves Liam and Pamela in a threesome with a snowman), it's the smoking chemistry between Liam and Pamela — on and off-screen — that's had everyone talking. The pair have looked undeniably cosy on red carpets, although neither have confirmed or denied any romance. Here, Pamela, 58, talks about her latest role, gushes about working with Liam, and reveals how her sons are her greatest supporters and 'harshest critics'… Hi, Pamela! Everyone's talking about you and Liam Neeson. How was it working together? Liam's fantastic. Everyone, I think, is going to fall in love. He's had an incredible career, starting in theatre and being part of acting royalty, starring in Schindler's List and all his other films. So it was intimidating. I was afraid to meet him. I was literally shaking the first day I came to rehearse with him. But he's such a gentleman, such a sweetheart, so giving and generous, and so complimentary and supportive that, you know, you can't help but fall in love with him. The chemistry between you two is fantastic… We do have chemistry and, you know, off-set, he's silly. He has that little boy sense of humour. Yeah, he's funny. On set, I don't think we broke too much, but in rehearsals, we'd be playing around and having a bit of a laugh. But we'd still be shooting the film today if we laughed at everything! Some of the crew had to hide in corners, and the video village was really far away, in some kind of soundproof room, so they could not laugh. What attracted you to doing a comedy film? Well, I've kind of restarted my career — I did Chicago on Broadway, then The Last Showgirl . I thought it would be a nice juxtaposition to do a high comedy after a drama. It was exciting to play with, and I really respond to comedy. The fact they even thought of me for this was so exciting. I'm glad I did it. Were you a fan of the original movies? Oh, I love the Naked Gun s. They were really funny — such crazy, silly comedies. The world needs that right now. Everyone needs a good giggle, and this movie definitely has some of those. So what can people expect from this film? It's just one laugh after another. I think people will love all different parts of it. There's definitely an audience for this. It's a genre, but silly — you know, burst-out-laughing stuff. It's really wild. How did you prepare to play your character, Beth? I work a lot on the character before I even get to the set. Whether it's a drama or a high comedy, you still put the work in. So we talked a lot about her backstory and the storyline. The director was very scientific with the jokes, but I also wanted to bring honesty, authenticity and vulnerability to Beth. I see some sincere and tender moments, which I don't think you'd expect in a film like this. I was proud to see that. What were your favourite scenes to shoot? I think the montage is one of my favourites. I loved all the snowman scenes, he was really cute. But it was all exciting and fun. It's interesting to work with such an incredible actor as Liam, because I'm soaking it all in like a sponge. I feel new at this, so I really pay attention and observe him, on and off camera. How he conducts himself is really incredible to witness and learn from. You've got a scene where you sing in a jazz club… I loved that scene. The song was scripted, it wasn't improv, so I had to learn it. I still sing it in the shower — I can't get it out of my head. It kind of started a little Fabulous Baker Boys and went into, like, craziness. It was something I was worried about at first, but then I just jumped into it, and it was fun. Is this a film that's better to watch on the big screen? Any movie is seen best at a movie theatre — especially this one, with all the stunts and craziness. There's a lot of stuff going on, there are layers. If you see it a second time, you might see something different. There are a lot of references and funny things in the background. So yes, it's definitely one of those movies you need to enjoy on a big screen, with popcorn and friends — you'll get a greater kick out of it. Your son Brandon encouraged you to do The Last Showgirl . What input did he have with this film? Brandon and my other son Dylan actually saw an early cut of this film before I did. I got the call, 'Mom, it's funny. It's really funny. You and Liam are great.' They were so excited about it. They don't pull any punches. They're my harshest critics, as sons can be, but that gave me a bit of confidence because they wouldn't say that if they didn't love it. There's a new generation of kids who don't know these movies and are craving some real slapstick belly laughs. Your fans seem to be really embracing this second act in your career. What do you think has been the best part? Oh, thank you. Just working. It's a happy surprise that I get to do this again. I've gone home and thought, 'OK, I'll make pickles and bake bread and make my life beautiful, no matter what.' But I had this real craving to do more in this industry, so I'm really grateful.
